This is truely a fallen warrior. I had the honor of attending the United Stated Army Field Artillery School with Victor. He always demonstrated the best in all people. He had a way of making you laugh and was the real deal.
As a former police officer and US Army Field Artillery Officer I can say

My heart is broken for Officer Lozada’s family and friends. My sympathies extend to his fellow officers and dept. as well. My son is a police officer In Lexington, KY and I am well aware of the dangers they face. They are truly heroes every day when they report for duty. God Bless you all.

Such a tragedy. This officer was a close family friend. He was a great and generous person. He will be greatly missed. Our condolences go to his family, friends, and fellow officers. May he be remembered for this accomplishments and positive influence in the East Dallas community. We are heartbroken. May he rest in peace.

This is truly a sad story and my thoughts and prayers go out to his family and the Dallas Police Department.

My older brother has just retired from the Los Angeles Police Department after 30 years of service. We are all so thankful that he is here to enjoy his retirement. He always wanted to be a policeman, he wanted to help.

I wish all the best for your son and daughter-in-law. They both look great in their uniforms, you should be very proud.
