Support Todd Gottel for Rowlett Mayor
Todd was elected to the Rowlett City Council and has been serving since May 2007. Todd’s primary interests are building a better community by improving communications with Rowlett citizens, conservative fiscal management of all funds and a key focus on driving economic development.
Currently, Todd serves as Mayor Pro Tem, Chairs the Bond Committee and serves on the Economic Development Advisory Board. He also serves as Chair for Precinct #2502 for the Dallas County Republican Party. Todd is also a member and sound technician at First Baptist Church Rowlett.
With over 20 years of sales and marketing experience, Todd’s background has spanned from start-up organizations to well-established Fortune 500 companies. Currently, Todd owns a sales and marketing consulting company focused on helping small to medium businesses launch new products.
Todd was born and raised in Philadelphia and moved to Rowlett in 1995. He has three children and enjoys golf and tennis.
OK, that’s what the *thumb-nail* says regarding Todd Gottel, I’m going to tell you about the Todd Gottel that I know.
During the recent troubles Rowlett faced removing the Mayor that Todd seeks to replace, Todd was a voice of sanity and reason. Todd Gottel loves the city of Rowlett and he serves it well. He serves for LOVE of the job, not because there is any financial gain to be had.
I know the Todd Gottel that is up late at night, working on matters for the city, talking to other city leaders and concerned citizens that are *night owls*. I have personally had talks with Todd that were initiated after midnight, where we were discussing various issues that Rowlett faces.
I know the Todd Gottel that is there for his friends. A phone call to Todd and a word that someone needs help or assistance is all it takes, Todd springs into action, becoming personally involved and providing whatever is needed.
Todd Gottel is a level-headed leader and a man that can be counted on to do whats right and best for Rowlett. Todd listens to the citizens and the Council, and he works well with others. Todd understands the concept of a Mayor and Council working together and he knows that if he supports a project or action that the Council doesn’t, that’s the way it goes, and he moves on to the next issue.
In other words, Todd Gottel is the consummate professional and it is my distinct pleasure to heartily endorse Todd Gottel in the coming race for Mayor of Rowlett, Texas.
Now, Todd needs OUR help.
Running for office is not cheap, it takes money to run, Todd needs literature and campaign signs, and we can ALL help him get the needed tools.
I know that times are tight all over, I know what it’s like to live on a fixed income, but I also know the generosity my friends and readers have exhibited in the past.
If you can donate just $10 to Todd Gottel, if MY friends and readers make that effort, and then ask their Rowlett friends and neighbors to do likewise, we can help Todd Gottel in getting elected and becoming what I believe will be the best Mayor Rowlett ever had.
With Todd’s approval, I am soliciting campaign donations for his campaign to become Mayor of Rowlett, Texas. Those donations can be sent to the PayPal account Todd has set up and I have attached below!
I support and endorse Todd Gottel for the position of Mayor in the upcoming *SPECIAL ELECTION* on Saturday, July 16, 2011.
The filing period runs now through 5 p.m. on Monday, May 16. Early voting will begin June 29 and run through July 12. There will be no voting on July 4 due to the holiday.

Rowlett is set to become a destination, Todd is the leader that can take us there.
I don’t know Fred. He needs to show us his britches first. Tell him to post a picture of his wranglers on his website. I gotta see iffn he has a Copenhagen ring. Looking at his toofs, he don’t look like he’s ever had a chew between his gum and toofs. How do we know he’s Texified yet, being he’s only been in town since 1995?
On second thought though, [leans over and spits in a bucket] after looking at his picture some more, I’m starting to take a liking to the ole boy, not in a San Francisco way mind you. I reckon your word is good enough for me.
But he’s got to do something first. He needs to get rid of that damn blue tie, and put a red one on. Reminds me too much of a democrat. And tell him to change his picture on his push cards and website to the one wiff a red tie, will yuh? [spits in bucket]
And last thing, tell him he’s got enough hair on his head where iffn he starts acting like a damn fool like the last one, we ain’t uh gunna run him out on the internet, we’ll walk in and grab his hair and drag his azz out, and throw him in the lake.
TopGun — I don’t wear jeans any more, I have em, but I don’t wear em, too much business to tend to, I wear slacks…
And I have taken 2 DIPS in my entire life, the 1st one and the LAST one, and I have never taken a *chaw*…
