Al-Sadr now wants to stand down since he's getting his ass kicked, and we let him?

WTF.

He controls the situation in Iraq?

Once again, WTF.

Find him, kill him, kill his family, kill his followers and be rid of him.

This is really becoming a joke more and more everyday.

Sparky is the ULTIMATE Bush Bot, Amy Proctor and a few others blow him about as often as they fantasize about blowing Bush...

28% of the nation is like that bunch, blind as bats and think THEY have all the answers simply because they had a hubby that was a FOBBIT and he overheard the big boys talking about what it was like outside the wire when all he was was a glorified altar boy, and their idea of an answer is to do whatever Bush says to do...

And you have to remember little gem:

Cheney and Rumsfeld said no...

That's what happens when civilians direct a war from Washington, DC. Their job is to give goals and objectives and allow the military to achieve those goals. Can you imagine Ike and MacArthur having to get permission for every move, attack, and plan they made during WWII?

al-Maliki is trying to run Iraq to please Bush and make it into a "Democracy".

Unfortunately, Democracy won't work in that part of the world. The more stable Arab countries are run by the more ruthless rulers. They don't think and reason like Westerners do. The only way al-Maliki or any Iraq leader will get control is their country is through brutal measures.

Fred pretty much sums this up in it's entirety. And Sparky is still Sparky, as is made all too clearly from that link.

I am beginning to think maybe we should just colonize the damned place. Hell, enough American blood has been spilled there. That, or empty the prisons, and turn loose the convicts there, along with any male border jumpers we can catch. But, I digress...

And the Queen Mother of the Bush Bots is steadily kissing ass on another Bush Bot... :DÂ

I guess Bush himself wasn't available for her to blow...

The sad part of this is that we had Al-Sadr in our cross-hairs and our commenders wanted to take him out, Chaney and Rumsfeld said no.

Why would they make that decision?

Mistake after mistake, failure after failure, when is enough, enough?
