Policeman sues over orders to attend Islamic prayer

I don’t often use WorldNetDaily (WND) as source for stories, I have experienced a few times when their *facts* just didn’t pan out, but today I am making an exception. In what appears to be a never ending battle to stop the Islamification of America comes this.

Policeman sues over orders to attend Islamic prayer

A Tulsa, Okla., police captain is suing his chief and the city after he was demoted and targeted by an internal investigation for refusing orders to attend an event featuring lessons in Islam, a tour and a prayer service at a mosque linked to an unindicted co-conspirator in a terror financing trial.

The legal action has been brought by attorneys with the Thomas More Law Center on behalf of Paul Fields.

Named as defendants are the city, Police Chief Charles W. Jordan and Deputy Chief Alvin Daryl Webster. WND requests for comment did not generate a response from the defendants.

The lawsuit focuses on the officer’s constitutional and civil rights, and besides a resolution of Fields’ concerns, it seeks an injunction preventing “enforcement of defendants’ unconstitutional acts, policies, practices, procedures and/or customs.”

At issue is a solicitation by officials in the Tulsa Police Department for officers to attend a “Law Enforcement Appreciation Day” organized by the Islamic Society of Tulsa. The invitation said the officers would be given tours of the mosque, meet the mosque’s leadership, be given presentations of “beliefs, human rights, women” and “watch the 2-2:45 weekly congregational prayer service.”

Let me be VERY clear in this, I KNOW what a *chain of command* is, I know that its structure is the backbone of all military and police organizations, but once in a while the *chain* breaks, there is a weak link that gives orders that a sane and thinking person just can’t follow.

Tulsa Police Chief Charles W. Jordan, you are the weakest link, and Tulsa needs to bid you farewell, along with any other person in your command that ORDERED officers to attend what amounts to a *brainwashing* function on the behalf of Islam!

I have written quite a few posts regarding Islam and what I believe to be a SECT of madmen, perverts, pedophiles and terrorists. Apparently Chief Jordan didn’t get that memo concerning Islam and its band of ne’er do wells.

Maybe Chief Jordan fell for that *Religion of Peace* line that Islam and it’s followers like to flaunt, just before the bombs go off. Perhaps Chief Jordan is a supporter of Islam. I am not making an accusation, I’m merely offering an observation and pointing out that it is a possibility.

In any case, I support Tulsa Police Captain Paul Fields in his efforts, I applaud his courage to stand up to Command and refuse to participate in this Muslim version of a “dog and pony” show.

As more on this story continues to surface:

After suspension attorneys for Tulsa Police Captain plan to amend federal suit

A Tulsa Police Captain at the center of a Tulsa mosque dispute is suspended and transferred after an internal investigation at the Tulsa Police Department. Tulsa Police Captain Paul Fields is on a 2-week suspension without pay for violating two departmental policies.

“They, in fact, now have caused economic damages to him in his employment and his profession and we will be seeking to recover those as well,” says Rob Muise with the Thomas More Law Center. Muise is one of the attorneys representing Captain Fields.

Muise is one of the attorneys representing Captain Fields.

The lawyer says Fields is suing the city of Tulsa, the Tulsa Police Department and Police Chief Chuck Jordan. Muise says they will ask for damages related to his suspension, loss of command, transfer to the graveyard shift and loss of a promotion for at least a year. “We have greater detail in light of these personnel orders because we now have explicit what the punishment is so we have what the damage is going to be as a result of their actions and some of the other statements that were in here about, you know, punishing him apparently for writings that went public,” says Muise.

The attorney says the complaint alleges Fields’ 1st amendment right was violated. Fields refused to order his officers to attend a Law Enforcement Appreciation Day at the Islamic Center of Tulsa after he was told do by his superiors. Fields says it violated his religious beliefs.

“Right now, we are considering filing a state law claim in addition to our federal law claim under the Oklahoma Religious Freedom Act and also expanding our constitutional claims to include a free speech claim because they are also punishing him for allegedly statements and actions that he made that were made public,” says Muise. Islam is NOT the *Religion of Peace*, here are quotes from the Quran that prove it!

● Do not hanker for peace with the infidels; behead them when you catch them (47:4)
● The unbelievers are stupid; urge the Muslims to fight them (8:65)
● Muslims must not take the infidels as friends (3:28)
● Terrorize and behead those who believe in scriptures other than the Quran (8:12)
● Muslims must muster all weapons to terrorize the infidels (8:60)
● Slay the unbelievers wherever you find them (2:191)
● Make war on the infidels living in your neighborhood (9:123)
● When opportunity arises, kill the infidels wherever you catch them (9:5)
● Kill the Jews and the Christians if they do not convert to Islam or refuse to pay Jizya tax (9:29)
● Any religion other than Islam is not acceptable (3:85)
● The Jews and the Christians are perverts; fight them (9:30)
● Maim and crucify the infidels if they criticize Islam. (5:33)
● The infidels are unclean; do not let them into a mosque (9:28)
● Punish the unbelievers with garments of fire, hooked iron rods, boiling water; melt their skin and bellies (22:19)

I believe Captain Paul Fields is fully aware of the fact that Islam is NOT what it claims to be, I know I am. Just read the headlines, you don’t have to go back too far, start here, The Beirut Marine Barracks bombing on October 23, 1983 in Beirut, Lebanon, then fast forward through hundreds of acts of terrorism perpetrated by Muslims, remember Sept. 11, 2001.

Look at all the other acts of terror and violence that have been done in the name of Allah and Islam.

Then listen closely; do you hear it?

Do you hear the cries of the average, everyday Muslim as they denounce these acts of terror and violence, and condemn their brothers for committing them?

I didn’t hear it either.

I hope Captain Paul Fields has all he needs to get by, I hope he wins a judgment against the Tulsa Police Department that will set him up for the rest of his life, he’s going to need it, because no matter how this turns out, Fields career with Tulsa is over and done.

Even if he wins, they will make his life miserable. If he loses, he’d best know that *cover your ass* is NOT just a saying, and will, in his case, become an absolute necessity.

I know, I’m a little behind on this story, and I should have already had it posted, but, better late than never… The fact remains, The Chief of Tulsa PD was WRONG…

  2. Shady says:

As a former Chief of Police, the first thought that came to me was, ” ARE YOU OUT OF YOUR EVER LOVING MIND” Chief Jordan.

Your first duty of responsibility is to your men and to the City. How in the world could Chief Jordan force any officer to attend a function that did not conform to his officers own religious beliefs. Did Chief Jordan bother to check with the City Attorney to see if he could give such an order in the first place….guess not.

In my opinion the Captain will prevail, and the Chief will or should be be reassigned to midnights as a patrol officer or fired.

I hate to go against a brother Chief, but in this case. You were wrong, based on facts presented.

  3. Smokey-Blog says:

Personally, while I also believe the Captain will prevail, I’d like to see him come down to DFW, as we need officers who not only actually believe in something, but also have the backbone to stand up for what they believe!

  4. Bob Mack says:

With 1,400 years of hard evidence behind us, it’s hard to believe that anybody except maybe the first O.J. Simpson jury would still believe this ‘religion of peace’ bulls**t.

  6. extex_cop says:

The Capt. is right in not wanting to attend that function. What would happen if it was a Muslim ordered to attend a Christian Service???….the sh*t would hit the fan….muslims would be marching in the streets…burning cars and US Flags.

My hat is off to you Capt. Fields…good for you to take a stand.

Not too late on this post Fred as you have it well covered. May re-post to Patriot’s Corner later tonight if i can get the time. As always, a link back here and a thanks to you and TF will be posted.

Bravo to Capt. Fields and he did the right thing. As mentioned above, 1400 plus years of love from the religion of pieces is all we need to know about this perverted and stone age cult of violence, persecution and death.

  8. GM Roper says:

My grandfather died in 1962, and ten years before that he was Police Commissioner in San Antonio. Had he been the chief he would doubtlessly said to the planners of this misbegotten order “Are you out of your friggin mind?” But be damned sure he wouldn’t have used the word “friggin.”

He and my dad fought WWII which overthrew the Nazi’s. During the Nuremberg Trials it was well established that an illegal order does not have to be followed. The order to attend what was in essence a religious meeting (the prayer service at the end) was Illegal As Hell.

If there is any Justice, as opposed to PC Justice, the Captain will prevail.

  9. Bloviating Zeppelin says:

I too have no doubt that Capt Fields shall prevail, as this is an Unconstitutional order on its face. However, I’m sure that one of the charges is “insubordination” in that the Captain refused to attend. However, the predicating order itself is unlawful meaning the insubordination charge is groundless.

This is, again, a PC stance taken to an insane level in order to prove the Chief is keeping in lockstep with a mindless and uninformed guilty populace.
