    I had not heard the entire quote from Obama, (lame excuse for not wearing the flag). That’s amazingly stupid, ignorant and insulting on so many different levels. I think Obama would be very dangerous for this country and I plan to do everything I can to spread the word about him, his connections, his beliefs, etc. Hillary is bad, but she looks wonderful compared to Obama.

    Never thought I would ever say good things about Hillary.

    Early in the morning after sunrise, every military installation in the nation has a ceremony as the flag is hosted. Prior to sunset, a similar ceremony is performed where the flag is brought down, and folded with great care, then stored for the night. It is never allowed to touch the ground. These ceremonies are conducted by impeccably dressed uniformed personnel and accompanied by appropriate music. During the ceremony all traffic on base is brought to a halt, again, in honor of the flag. When the flag becomes old and faded, it is retired with ceremony, and burned.

    Just to add a little added information. The Boy Scouts adopted the military ceremonial raising and lowering of the flag as well as the folding procedures. If someone is able, a bugler plays the proper music. At Scout camps, when the bugler is heard during those moments, it is customary to halt whatever one is doing to pay respect. All Scouts present salute with the Boy Scout salute. Boy Scout troops also retire flags similarly to the military.

    Just wanted to pass that along especially since I am an Eagle Scout (Class of 1981) and am very proud of my time in the Scouts both as a Scout and as a Scout leader.

    I get too pissed to comment about. After I wake up in the morning, I will try and present an intelligent response. No promises, but I will try.

    Obama, is one of those wimps, IMO, that would have just stood by and let the PAVN disembowel the head chief, his wife, and family.

    I will be the last person on earth to ever think Obama would be an acceptable candidate, much less President, but I also cannot stand idly by while he is attributed with something someone else said in a piece of satire:

    Cary, I had someone else send me email on this as well, and I agree, I have been looking for a way to contact the original author and have not had any success yet, if you DO find a contact for Gen. Cash, I’ll ‘call’ him on it, I don’t care WHAT his former pay grade was, hell, I criticize Bush, and that’s as high a pay grade as you get in the Chain of Command!! :D
