Bell tried to run the officers down with his vehicle. Last I knew, a vehicle can be used as a deadly weapon. A couple thousand pounds with a couple hundred horsepower propelling it can do some damage.

Ya know, maybe if the assclowns quit tormenting the police at every turn…constantly testing them ( looking for a few bucks thru a lawsuit) they could do their jobs better. But until that mentality shapes up, let the cops shoot all they want…I am beyond caring anymore. Had Bell followed orders/instructions, he would be alive. He killed his own sorry ass. And all people are pissed about is the money they might not make now, not whether or not Sean Bell died.

Well, even a blind pig finds a truffle occasionally – but come on, that much lead and only two guys dead?

What if they had been shooting back? How many more shots would have been involved, or would NYPD not have been shooting, instead keeping under cover?
