My Father’s flag was flying at dawn this morning.Â He earned it by serving in World WarII.Â My husband and I spent this day remembering all who have gone before and the many who have given all for this country.Â May we regain the freedoms that they fought for.

Simply put, I can’t add anything to what has already been said. I spent a good portion of this morning remembering my Godfather, and reviewing the things that happened at the Chosin Reservoir.

This morning, at church, we did something we don’t normally do. We stood, said the Pledge of Allegiance and sang the National Anthem. Being able to do that brought it home to many that we are free to do that because of those who sacrificed so much for us.
