Poll: 11% Believe Obama Is Muslim

I don’t use NewsMax as a source too often, maybe I need to start since all us EVIL Conservatives get our news from NewsMax, FOX and WorldNet Daily…

A new Newsweek poll out this weekend shows Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama may face serious obstacles in the upcoming general election.

Many Americans aren’t even sure of Obama’s religion.

Asked to identify his religion, 58 percent of respondents correctly said Obama was a Christian. But a surprising 11 percent said he was a Muslim. And 22 percent said they did not know what his religion was.

Almost one-fifth of white Democratic voters polled also said they had an unfavorable opinion of Obama because of his name.

Apparently, such bias is having an effect on Obama’s chances to secure the presidency. Though the Democrats seemingly have significant landscape advantages this year with Bush’s approval ratings in the tank and a weakening economy, Obama ties McCain in the poll, 46 percent to 46 percent.

Obama’s woes are more apparent when voters are asked to give their party identification. More than half, 53 percent, say they are Democrats with 38 percent saying Republican.

But the poll data has a silver lining for Obama. Some 70 percent of voters says the country is ready for a black man to serve as president, up from just 37 percent in the 2000 election.

I have got to dedicate this to Anne, and you know who you are, you accused me of being an ignorant racist in the comments section of this thread: Clinton cites Kennedy assassination in primaries

Well here’s the deal, NewsMax posted this story about the same time you made you little ‘drive by’, your last one too I might add, but it appears that I am not the only one that considers Obama to be a closet Muzzie, a Stealth Muzzie as some of us prefer to call him, and quite frankly, I think you need to read my comments policy in regards to your beloved Obama…

Comments Policy Here

Free speech is a real bitch huh?? My blog, my opinions, if you don’t like it, I have a suggestion for you, don’t even bother to read here anymore because you will NEVER see anything posted about Obama that is good or positive, that’s because there is nothing good or positive to post…

Obama is, in MY opinion, a sorry excuse of a halfbreed, quite likely The Manchurian Candidate personified and is very likely to still be tied to the Muslims that so want to take this nation down…

And just for the record, the son of a bitch DOES have 3 Muslim names, deal with it!!

If saying this makes me sound like an ignorant racist, so be it, at least I can look myself in the eye when I shave every morning…

Hmmm..lets see..Anne can say ugly things to you, and share her opinions, but you’re not allowed ? That doesn’t set too well with most folks.

I don’t know what he is, all I know is in my heart, I believe him (Obama) to be among the most evil of men.

Jo, I have heard the term Anti-Christ applied more than a few times, and you know, I wouldn’t be at all surprised…

I, personally, am scared by the 58% that believe him to be Christian. He wouldn’t last five minutes in a sermon from my Pastor without being all huffy and puffy and declaring my church to be racist and whatnot… and that would be because Pastor only preaches and teaches from and about the Bible.  You know, the book that Christians follow?  Not the headlines, not current events, not “feel good” sermons - but cold, hard, unvarnished Truth as handed down from God. 58%.  That really, really scares me. By the way - I am in the 22%, not sure what his religion is - I don’t think the man could commit to anything that requires a belief system that doesn’t change with each polling…

I don’t think 11% is any where near close to the actual figure.  I saw a poll not long ago that said the figure was in the high 30 percentile.  I can’t unfortunately find that link now or remember exactly what it was called.  Anyway I don’t believe Obama is a Muzzie, I know he’s one!

  5. Faultline USA says:

I think the majority of folks believe that Obama is NOW a Christian, while also recognizing that “Rev.” Jeremiah Wright’s brand of Afro-centric –anti-White “Christianity” is anything but true Christianity. Additionally, I believe that most Americans understand that if a child was raised in a Muslim family and made to go to Islamic schools etc., that doesn’t mean that today that person is still a Muslim as an adult. What the majority of Americans DON’T UNDERSTAND is why Barack Hussein Obama still denies all!!! The facts are out there including interviews with his former teachers and classmates. There are none so blind as those that do not wish to see!

    Barack Obama - Muslim apostate?

    Damn Mad… That’s hilarious… 😀

Even if we are wrong - even if Obama is not a Muslim, he has very, very close family ties to Islam. His Anglican cousin signed agreements with the Muslim Leadership League (or Forum) to allow Shariah Law be applied to some parts of Africa, IF the cousin (Odinga) won the election for President. Obama campaigned with Odinga about 6 months before the election. What kind of Christian champions another Christian who signs secret deals with Islam to pour down the wrath of Shariah Law on fellow Christians.Odinga lost the election but Koffi Anan brokered a deal so that Odinga is now the Prime Minister (or something similar). Obama the Christian didn’t make a single comment about this appalling, enslaving turn of events, that I can find.MaggieMaggie’s Notebook
