Romney accuses Obama of classified material leaks

RENO, Nev. (AP) - Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney is accusing President Barack Obama of leaking classified details about the U.S. military raid that killed Osama bin Laden for political gain.

Romney was to level his accusation Tuesday afternoon during an address to the Veterans of Foreign Wars convention, his strongest indictment yet of Obama’s foreign policy in a close race in which the Republican has largely focused on the nation’s sluggish economy.

“This conduct is contemptible. It betrays our national interest. It compromises our men and women in the field,” Romney says, according to speech excerpts released by his campaign. “And it demands a full and prompt investigation, with explanation and consequence.”

In detouring from his preferred issue, the economy, Romney was venturing into a realm usually viewed as the home turf of the incumbent. But by alleging that the Obama administration divulged to reporters on multiple occasions details of secret missions, Romney was suggesting Obama lacks the discipline for the office.

If Barack Hussein Obama thought it would win him a 2nd term in office he would leak the current nuclear launch codes and his grand protector, Attorney General Eric Holder, wouldn’t prosecute him for treason, even if he witnessed it himself.

You scratch mine and I scratch yours, so to speak.

Let’s face facts my friends; Barack Hussein Obama is NOT a leader, he is NOT a man of principle, he lies to America, he will bow to world leaders, he will acquiesce to the demands of radical Islam, that is to say, ALL of Islam, and in MY opinion, he has NO love for this nation, our way of life, our heritage, our patriotism, our military or our police officers. He holds all of the above in disdain.

OK, you’d better write this down in your *things I never thought I would hear TexasFred say on the blog* sheet: I actually agree with Feinstein on this one, and it ties in perfectly with the above story from the Romney camp.

Feinstein: National Security Leaks Coming from White House ‘Ranks’

Sen. Diane Feinstein (D-CA), Chairwoman of the Senate Intelligence Committee, on Monday said the White House appears to be responsible for leaking classified national security information.

‘‘I think the White House has to understand that some of this is coming from their ranks,’’ Feinstein said at a World Affairs Council forum, according to the Associated Press (AP).

Republicans, such as Sen. John McCain (R-AZ), have accused the Obama administration of leaking national security information to win votes. Specifically, McCain mentioned the computer virus program that disabled some of Iran’s nuclear facilities — and other sensitive national security matters.

The uproar intensified when The New York Times ran a story titled, “Obama order sped up wave of cyber-attacks against Iran.” The Times has also published stories on Obama’s “kill lists” with sources that were all affiliated with the Obama administration. The Times has denied that the Obama administration leaked information to them.

Feinstein: National Security Leaks Coming from White House ‘Ranks’

Feinstein must have a bit more courage in her than I thought she did. I have to tip my hat to her for making this statement, that took some GUTS, she just stood against the Obama regime and his blind followers.

Someone in the Obama administration is leaking national security information, and personally, I believe it is being done in an attempt to portray Obama as some kind of fearless and knowledgeable leader of men and nations and a man of action.

The idea of that is just WRONG, on SO many levels.
