‘Where do you hide?’ Cleanup begins after tornadoes leveled homes, killed 6

A massive cleanup and recovery effort got under way this morning in Granbury, where at least six people were killed and dozens injured by three tornadoes, at least one of which was likely an EF-4 with sustained winds up to 200 mph.

“Doesn’t get much worse than that,” said Hood County Sheriff Roger Deeds, who helped escort a tour of the hard-hit Rancho Brazos subdivision.

Deeds said Thursday morning that all of the dead were adults. Another 37 people were injured, with about 100 homes flattened, damaged or destroyed. Separate tornadoes and strong winds near Ennis and Cleburne destroyed homes, but no one died.

Officials in Granbury fear the number of dead could rise as seven people remain missing as search-and-rescue efforts turned to search and recovery about 10 a.m. SOURCE

Today politics is the furthest thing on my mind. Texans are hurting, 6 are dead and right now I don’t give a damn about Obama or any of it. You guys can fight Obama for a day or 2 without me.

Priorities; I have mine in order, well, in an order that matters most to me.

Once in a while even I have to take a break from politics and take care of more immediate and important business. The destruction that we suffered in the DFW area last night is at the top of my list for now.
