Thanks to Gustav, my little South Arkansas county has been without electricity for two days – may get it back tomorrow.
Trees are down all over town. I lost two poplars and at least two persimmon trees….
However, we are making our coffee on our camp stoves and cleaning our yards (when you can get across the mushy ground…..) Have a generator hooked up to my deep freeze so I don’t lose next week’s dinner…..
Yip, yip, yippee, yahoo… and thank goodness for generators, battery powered laptops, neighbors wtih chain saws and air cards to get on line!

These folks will be the same ones screaming “Help Me” the next time. These will be the same people of which Kanye West will proclaim (Presidents name here) Hates black people.
When this storm hit I prayed it wasnt as bad as katrina, so did MOST Americans.

Now I am not so sure we did the right thing. Maybe it needs to be Brutally destructive so the folks in NOLA will not feel cheated if they survive?
