Bush Says Immigration Bill Will Survive

SOFIA, Bulgaria (AP) - President Bush, turning from adulation in the Balkans to difficulties back home, said Monday that his stalled immigration overhaul would be revived and his embattled attorney general would not fall under a Senate vote of no-confidence.

“I’ll see you at the bill signing,” Bush said confidently about an immigration bill that has run into deep trouble on Capitol Hill.

Bush, who left for Washington later Monday, plans to trek to Capitol Hill on Tuesday to have lunch with Republican senators, part of a hands-on approach to persuading party conservatives that the bill is better than the status quo.

OK folks, here we go again, the Moron in Chief is looking to betray the American public again, he is fully prepared to give this nation away to the ILLEGALS and throw us, WE, THE PEOPLE, under the bus in the process, and if WE THE PEOPLE don’t stop him and remind him, very forcefully, that HE works for US, and not the other way around, we’re going to be literally over-run by these people, but, here’s the catch, they will no longer be ILLEGAL INVADERS, they will be protected immigrants, protected by George W. Bush, the most notorious traitor to EVER inhabit the Oval Office…

He also dismissed a planned Senate vote against Attorney General Alberto Gonzales as a purely political “meaningless resolution,” saying it would have “no bearing” on Gonzales’ fate.

“I’ll make the determination if I think he’s effective or not,” Bush said.

And just WHO determines if YOU are effective Mr. Bush??

The American public, the LEGAL and VOTING American public has spoken in a loud and strong voice, in great numbers sir, over 70% of this nation is dead set against you and your policies in general and your immigration policy in particular, and have told you, and our legislators, what WE want, and YOU Mr. Bush, as OUR servant, as our President, are supposed to actually listen to US and take OUR interests into consideration over those of the lawbreakers from other nations…

And oh yeah, that oath you took, the one where you swore to defend this nation from ALL enemies, both foreign and domestic, you need to re-think that part of the equation too Mr. Bush, because AT THIS TIME, you Mr. Bush, and your cohorts in the Senate and Congress, the ones that support you in your effort to make the United States a northern province of Mexico, are as big a threat to the security of this nation as is ANY terrorist…

You Mr. Bush, are a TRAITOR to this nation and to the LEGAL citizens OF this nation and YOU are a disgrace to the office of President of the United States…

Our Senators and Congressmen have been warned, and they apparently ARE getting the message, if they support YOU on this matter, then they will be voted out of office come their next election cycle, and Mr. Bush, for the 1st time in my life I am of the opinion that we need to remove a sitting American president from office…

The charges you ask??

1. Failure to properly perform his presidential duties to and for the LEGAL citizens of the USA…

2. Subversion and Treason by attempting to give this nation away to ILLEGAL invaders…

3. Failure to properly protect this nations sovereignty by allowing our borders to be breached, at will, by ILLEGAL invaders, terrorists, drug smugglers and various and other assorted garbage that is ALLOWED to just walk across our borders…

Perfect words out of the mouth of perfect asshole. I’m past the point of dislike with this egoistical bastard, now I’m into loath and despise.

  2. Ranando says:

So, we’re going to rid the world of terrorist but not here in the USA.

I’ve come to the following conclusion…

Bush and his White House and the people that support them are wrong. They want to secure Iraq and Afghanistan but not the USA. Why are these two countries and their people more important then our country and our people? Bush and his supporters have proved to us over and over that they have no intention of winning these two wars. Our troops are dying daily and for what? So that our enemy can grow and spread within our own country?

It’s time to bring our troops home, we need them here not there.

Places like Islamberg are developing throughout the USA and nothing is being done, nothing. If terrorist from around the world want to join or move to places like Islamberg, it’s simple, just walk across the border, better yet wait until Bush gets his bill passed and he’ll be willing to come and pick them up.

We have seen over and over again that when Muslims here in the USA are asked who they support they always say Islam.

We can deal with terrorist around the world with laser guided missiles; we don’t need our troops dying daily. We know where they’re at but we won’t take them out. Remember, “They can run but they can’t hide”, I guess Bush was just joking when he said that. One thing I know for sure is that they’re running to the USA and hiding and Bush wants to welcome them with open arms.

Bush is nothing if not consistent

He manages to do something bad for America, each and every week

  4. freedom fighter radio says:

Bush is not interested in protecting America he is a globalist and is helping to bring about the New World Order. Remember when the Democrats took the house and senate he said “Now I can finally have the immigration bill I want”. Ans lets go back even more in 2000 he states the Southwest of the USA belongs to Mexico he said that while speaking to a large group of Latin Americans, I have the audio of it to back it up.

And we have border Agents in prison and one going to prison today and Bush has the nerve to want to give citizenship to illegals even if they have records of rape, murder, and child molestation ?

Go figure after all Gonzales is covering up pedophilia in his Party there is a current on going investigation on this too.

Pardons Now for Ramos, Compeon and now Aleman

  5. RWilley says:

The eventual goal is the elimination of not only our southern border but also our northern border to form the up and coming “North American Union”. Bush….just like his father is a New World Order Globalist. We who still belive in the U.S.A. are now racist, and nationalist bigots.

  6. magz says:

This is the first time in my life I have been afraid of any President. What next ?
I really don’t understand how one person got to be this egotistical.

  7. GUNZ says:

Bush and his dip shit, disloyal, traitorous band of globalist idiot lieutenants that are in charge of Generals are well on their way to turning the greatest nation on earth into a very disrespected and pitiful 3rd world country that will have one Hell of a time ever recovering from it…

No matter how well this issue is sugar coated by the little prince it’s bull shit of the highest order, there will be no further meaningful border security, nothing will be done. Only part that will done is protection of the illegals. If the government did add more resources to the border it would only be a dog and pony show, a greater “who the F-K are you kidding” than what it already is. With zero flexibility for those working it, and we will still have a very loose and open border.

Hes a dumbass, and any of his supporters are as clueless as he is…

  8. LittleOleLady says:

Oh, I was seeing red when I finished reading this article this morning. What went through my mind was “How dare he!?!” WE the people let our voices be heard on this issue and they have absolutely NO RIGHT to ignore to what the majority of the people want and are united in. George Bush said he would unite America, and he has.. united us against him and those in congress that support this (sc)amnesty bill.

I think like another two term president we remember very well, the prestige presented to one in his position has gone to his head and he forgets just who put him where he is to begin with. And like I said on my blog, I think this past couple of weeks congress has begun to get the message, they represent US, WE are their ‘employer’ and they answer to us or they lose their jobs. It’s too bad this isn’t George Bush’s first term, he’d be getting the message loud and clear as well.. unfortunately it isn’t and the only thing that is going to happen if he pursues this bill is we’ll get skewered and he will go down in history as the next best thing to that joke that is former POTUS Jimmy Carter.

    Keep up the fight everyone!

in 2000 he states the Southwest of the USA belongs to Mexico he said that while speaking to a large group of Latin Americans, I have the audio of it to back it up.

Can you post this please??? We bought portions of the southwest from Mexico and also beat them in a war for the rest. They signed a peace treaty which ceded the southwest to us and we bought a strip closer to the border for building a railroad track through. But as for the southwest portion of the United States, I quote from the Treaty of Guadalupe-Hidalgo signed by the Mexican government and by the President of the United States after the Senate ratified it. To wit (all emphasis is mine):

[The boundary line between the two Republics shall commence in the Gulf of Mexico, three leagues from land, opposite the mouth of the Rio Grande, otherwise called Rio Bravo del Norte, or Opposite the mouth of its deepest branch, if it should have more than one branch emptying directly into the sea; from thence up the middle of that river, following the deepest channel, where it has more than one, to the point where it strikes the southern boundary of New Mexico; thence, westwardly, along the whole southern boundary of New Mexico (which runs north of the town called Paso) to its western termination; thence, northward, along the western line of New Mexico, until it intersects the first branch of the river Gila; (or if it should not intersect any branch of that river, then to the point on the said line nearest to such branch, and thence in a direct line to the same); thence down the middle of the said branch and of the said river, until it empties into the Rio Colorado; thence across the Rio Colorado, following the division line between Upper and Lower California, to the Pacific Ocean.

The southern and western limits of New Mexico, mentioned in the article, are those laid down in the map entitled "Map of the United Mexican States, as organized and defined by various acts of the Congress of said republic, and constructed according to the best authorities. Revised edition. Published at New York, in 1847, by J. Disturnell," of which map a copy is added to this treaty, bearing the signatures and seals of the undersigned Plenipotentiaries,. And, in order to preclude all difficulty in tracing upon the ground the limit separating Upper from Lower California, it is agreed that the said limit shall consist of a straight line drawn from the middle of the Rio Gila, where it unites with the Colorado, to a point on the coast of the Pacific Ocean, distant one marine league due south of the southernmost point of the port of San Diego, according to the plan of said port made in the year 1782 by Don Juan Pantoja, second sailing-master of the Spanish fleet, and published at Madrid in the year 1802, in the atlas to the voyage of the schooners Sutil and Mexicana; of which plan a copy is hereunto added, signed and sealed by the respective Plenipotentiaries.

In order to designate the boundary line with due precision, upon authoritative maps, and to establish upon the ground land-marks which shall show the limits of both republics, as described in the present article, the two Governments shall each appoint a commissioner and a surveyor, who, before the expiration of one year from the date of the exchange of ratifications of this treaty, shall meet at the port of San Diego, and proceed to run and mark the said boundary in its whole course to the mouth of the Rio Bravo del Norte. They shall keep journals and make out plans of their operations; and the result agreed upon by them shall be deemed a part of this treaty, and shall have the same force as if it were inserted therein. The two Governments will amicably agree regarding what may be necessary to these persons, and also as to their respective escorts, should such be necessary.

The boundary line established by this article shall be religiously respected by each of the two republics, and no change shall ever be made therein, except by the express and free consent of both nations, lawfully given by the General Government of each, in conformity with its own constitution. Pretty straight forward stuff really. Frankly, if anything the Mexicans should be fortunate that we did not annex their entire country. But if Bush said what you claim, this may well explain at least part of why he is so lax on the whole border issue.

  11. ptrickw says:

Once again Bush proves how clueless he is. Everybody knows what a monstrosity this bill is, and the more people learn about it the less they like it. Even the defenders really have no arguments other than “it’s better than the status quo.” The guy just loves beating his head against the wall.

  12. Rmebratt says:

“You Mr. Bush, are a TRAITOR to this nation and to the LEGAL citizens OF this nation and YOU are a disgrace to the office of President of the United States…”

Well said Fred! I am beyond pissed at him right now. I have already sent messages to my senators and the white house and will continue to do so until these idiots wake up and take notice of what WE the people want!

  13. Seaspook says:

It’s become apparent were we the citizens of the US stand on this issue yet Mr. Bush could care less. He had a choice between this country and Mexico and he has make the wrong choice.

His spiteful insistance on continuing to push this crap has got me riled. I also posted on this and included a link for finding your Senators. Lets all burn thier ears!

  14. Rastaman says:

Woops, my apologies. I see you already did put me back. I should have checked first.
Yeah, I’m not one of those pink tee shirt wearers. I’m just an American who puts America first and party second. As we’ve found to our sorrow and chagrin, just because we elect a GOP prez doesn’t mean he’s what we thought we were voting for.

I am in Florida and my Senators are wishy washy Nelson & Mel Martinez. They have both responded that THEY WILL VOTE FOR WHAT IS BEST. In other words they have told me “blank you” I want to fumigate all of Washington!

  16. Steve Dennis says:

Just when you thought the amnesty bill was dead and the will of the people was heard, we get the news that the president won’t let it die a sweet death. All he has managed to do here is drive most of his last remaining supporters away.
