Dozens of CIA operatives on the ground during Benghazi attack
CNN has uncovered exclusive new information about what is allegedly happening at the CIA, in the wake of the deadly Benghazi terror attack.
Four Americans, including Ambassador Christopher Stevens, were killed in the assault by armed militants last September 11 in eastern Libya.
Sources now tell CNN dozens of people working for the CIA were on the ground that night, and that the agency is going to great lengths to make sure whatever it was doing, remains a secret.
CNN has learned the CIA is involved in what one source calls an unprecedented attempt to keep the spy agency’s Benghazi secrets from ever leaking out. SOURCE
It must be a really hard job to be one of these CIA operators, I mean, can you imagine what it must have felt like to be on the ground in Benghazi, knowing that some of your co-workers were engaged in a fight for their lives and you couldn’t ride in to save them because you were working on some kind of *Secret Squirrel* project?
I guess we’ve all seen those Tom Cruise movies, Mission Impossible, or maybe you’re old enough to remember the television series where they were given a *mission* and told that if something were to go wrong they would be disavowed, their very existence would be denied and that they were basically up a creek with no paddle.
Say, you don’t suppose that some of that story line might have been true do you? It seems that someone is/was seriously concerned about mission security.
Since January, some CIA operatives involved in the agency’s missions in Libya, have been subjected to frequent, even monthly polygraph examinations, according to a source with deep inside knowledge of the agency’s workings.
The goal of the questioning, according to sources, is to find out if anyone is talking to the media or Congress.
Oh c’mon, these guys are threatened with having their careers terminated?
I thought CIA employees in the field, especially in a place like Benghazi, would have balls of steel and wouldn’t bow to intimidation tactics while knowing that Congress and the American people are deserving of knowing exactly what happened that night, how it happened, why it happened and who gave the orders.
Wouldn’t you think that these operators that were *supposedly* on the ground during the attack would be at least a little concerned that the next time something goes wrong on a mission that it may be them that’s sacrificed, hung out to dry and used to cover some kind of mission?
Isn’t the Obama
regime, uh, administration supposed to be the most transparent of all presidential administrations?
Surely Barack Hussein Obama would want the TRUTH known as to why Christopher Stevens, the U.S. Ambassador to Libya, Sean Smith, a U.S. Foreign Service Information Management Officer, and former Navy SEALs Glen Doherty and Tyrone S. Woods were killed, and why no effort was made to save these men, especially if there were “dozens” of people that worked for the CIA on the ground the night of the attack.
And consider this; supposedly, the White House was watching all of this go down via satellite surveillance, supposedly there was some sort of *attack or strike* aircraft in the immediate area too. According to some reports the guys at the embassy/mission had the targets painted and were begging for the military to make it rain on their attackers.
And again, supposedly, the White House gave explicit orders for any ground relief or imminent air strikes to STAND DOWN.
Surely the CIA wasn’t engaged in something so secretive that it was worth the lives of these men to keep it covered up? Were they?
I also have to wonder; how complicit was the White House, the State Department, Hillary Clinton and the whole bunch of them in this affair? Was there something taking place that threatened the career of the President? Or that of Hillary Clinton? Or perhaps any future aspirations she may have to become the President of the United States?
All presidencies have secrets; it’s always been that way and quite likely, always will be that way. I have heard all of the reasoning before, *it’s a national security issue* or, my personal favorite, *we are only keeping this a secret to protect you, the American people*.
Well folks, this is 2013, we live in the age of INSTANT NEWS, wars are fought on prime time television and the old *it’s for your own good* just won’t work any longer.
Americans died in service to this nation. Many feel that they were killed, allowed to BE killed when their rescue could have easily been affected. The old school excuses and cover-ups just don’t do the job any longer.
Someone is responsible for these deaths, someone within the Obama regime. It’s time to air the dirty laundry and let the dirt fall where it may!
