Bush: Time to Act on Immigration

WASHINGTON (AP) – Left for dead a week ago, legislation to strengthen border security while bestowing legal status on millions of illegal immigrants is showing signs of life. President Bush said on Friday it’s time for Congress to act.

“Each day our nation fails to act, the problem only grows worse,” the president said at the National Hispanic Prayer Breakfast. “I will continue to work closely with members of both parties, to get past our differences, and pass a bill I can sign this year.”

And I have to 100% fully agree with the President on this statement, “Each day our nation fails to act, the problem only grows worse,” but my agreement with him ends right there because he should have said that and then shut up…

Each day our nation fails to deport the ILLEGALS and each day our nation fails to secure our borders and coast lines, the problems DO grow worse, because every day that we continue to ALLOW the ILLEGALS to take over this nation, there’s going to be that many more born here or pour over our borders…

It is time to act on immigration Mr. Bush, you’re correct in that statement, but you need to act on the side of the American people, NOT those that come here ILLEGALLY…

Bush, at the prayer breakfast, said, “We must meet our moral obligation to treat newcomers with decency and show compassion to the vulnerable and exploited, because we’re called to answer both the demands of justice and the call for mercy.

“Most Americans agree on these principles,” the president said. “And now it’s time for our elected leaders in Congress to act.”

George W. Bush is either the stupidest man to ever inhabit the White House or he is so out of touch with reality that he needs to be removed FROM the White House simply because he IS a danger to ALL concerned parties…

Bush is sounding like a bleeding heart far left liberal and NOT a defender of the USA, we owe nothing to these people that INVADE our nation, they are here ILLEGALLY and they consume our resources and they rarely contribute anything to America, other than gang violence, drug problems and cheap labor…

And for the President of the USA to stand up and LIE regarding the American people being in agreement WITH him on this matter?? That alone further exacerbates the idea that the man is a danger to this nation and it’s people, he appears to honestly believe his own BS, and that scares me, anyone stupid enough to fall for this Bush crap is pretty damned stupid, but there’s still a few, less than 30% of this nation DO believe him, and that is what empowers the guy, he thinks that he has vast support for his AMNESTY bill, well, our Senators and Congressmen have the word, support this and we vote YOU out, lets see where it goes from here, I just hope it doesn’t escalate to armed conflict on the streets of America, but it could

And in many areas, it already has, you doubt that?? Ask your local law enforcement personnel, ask the Border Patrol, ask any INS agent that works the border, ask the DEA and HSA, everyone seems to be fully aware of the problems, everyone except the President that is…

I agree… it already has spilled into our streets… in fact those poor border patrol agents will rot in jail for 10 years while the drug dealers and others go free and make money off of it! I highly encourage everyone to read the article No Drug Dealer Left Behind. Usually Coulter is a bit of a shock-jock but she was right on target with that article. The infra-red cameras will only allow agents to watch people break the law. “Stop…or I’ll do nothing!” really does sum up what they can do. One of the agents was up for agent of the year! Give these guys a pardon and a medal for actually shooting a bad guy!

We are being set up for the big down fall and Bush is leading the charge.

For the life of me I just don’t understand and this week-end I’m not going to try.

It just keeps getting worse and worse, everyday.

    Where is the out-cry?

I want to hear Fred Thompson come forward and tell us all that he stands with us and if elected he will put a stop to this nonsense ASAP. He has made a few statements but he falls short.
