Pete Sessions rival Katrina Pierson says ’97 shoplifting charge helped turn her life around
On and off the campaign trail, congressional candidate Katrina Pierson sometimes discusses the hardscrabble background that she says ultimately made her a conservative firebrand.
The troubles in her youth, records show, included an arrest for shoplifting.
In 1997, five days before her 21st birthday, Katrina Pierson, then named Katrina Lanette Shaddix, was arrested on a charge of theft of greater than $50 and less than $500.
Pierson, who is running against Dallas Rep. Pete Sessions in the March 4 Republican primary, acknowledges the mistake. She told police then, and repeated recently, that she was talked into shoplifting by a friend. SOURCE
I’m all for 2nd chances but a *shop lifter* is certainly NOT what we need to have in the 32nd Congressional seat.
Look folks, I am NOT naïve, I KNOW that we have law breakers in the Halls of Congress, the U.S. Senate and certainly the Obama regime is filled with them, Barack Hussein Obama being the most prominent of the bunch, and YES, I DO realize that Ms. Pierson was *young and foolish*, but weren’t we all?
I am 60 years old and yes, I have seen the inside of a few jails, but never as an inmate or as a person under arrest, I was always there *on business*. When it comes to being *young and foolish*, my youthful indiscretions were the things that juvenile counselors held up as how to NOT live your life if you wanted to continue living FREE.
In other words; I was NO Saint, but the fact remains; I am NOT running for a seat in the U.S. Congress, I’m a blogger that expresses political opinion and the decisions I make won’t effect an entire Congressional district.
According to a Plano police report, Pierson said she and the woman with her, Laura Elizabeth Nelson, told police they needed the clothes for jobs they were trying to obtain.
Pierson told police she was “scared at first and did not want to go through with it.”
I haven’t seen anywhere in this story whether she got the job or not. Just saying. 😕
Pierson said she was “scared at first and did not want to go through with it.” Does that mean that as the act was being committed, that the longer it lasted and the longer that she participated that she did somehow lose her fear and indeed sought to go on with this criminal act as a willing participant? That’s a fair question I believe, given Ms. Pierson’s statement, or rather, it’s *wording*.
Again I point out the *careless*, or not well thought out way that Ms. Pierson speaks, the *deformed Veteran* thing, the wondering why Pete Sessions wouldn’t meet with her here in Texas, even though he was in Washington taking care of OUR business, and then this “I was scared at first and did not want to go through with it.” Seriously, it makes me wonder if Ms. Pierson has the ability to speak, unscripted, and to do so without bringing embarrassment to the people of the 32nd Congressional District.
The report said Pierson had her young son with her when the incident occurred.
Katrina Pierson is 37 years old according to this story. If she was 21 when the incident took place, and she happened to have her *young son* with her when the incident was committed, I am guessing that now her son must be somewhere in the neighborhood of 17 years old.
Bear with me here…
Katrina Pierson and her son are listed as residents of Garland, Texas. I have to wonder why, exactly, does Ms. Pierson’s son attend school in Wylie, Texas? That’s not a really *BIG* issue for me but is surely one of those things that I personally would love to have cleared up.
Are Wylie schools greatly superior to Garland schools? Do you see the reason for me to ask the question? If Pierson is a resident of Garland WHY would her child attend school in another city? Granted, Wylie is within the 32nd Texas Congressional District which Pierson would represent should she win the election, BUT, Garland ISD and Wylie ISD are 2 separate entities.
Pierson said Sessions’ supporters are mounting a smear campaign, but added that she has nothing to hide.
I think she means ME… 😛
Ms. Pierson; there is NO smear campaign being mounted, it’s just that some of us don’t fall for your charms and your claims of TEA Party conservatism. Some of us speak the truth, and just for the record; the truth is NOT hate speech and it is NOT a smear campaign.
A Sessions spokesman declined to comment on the arrest. Sessions has said he’s never been arrested.
Pierson says she’s willing to discuss her shoplifting charge, and other issues, with Sessions, chiding her opponent for refusing to consent to a public debate before the primary.
“Why don’t we both meet up in a public forum and talk about it?” she said.
Ms. Pierson; I have written s few posts about you and I used your own words as inspiration FOR those posts, no supposition Ms. Pierson, your own words, but now you are very close to playing *The VICTIM Card* to go along with the *RACE Card* you threw recently when I questioned your obsession with The BLACK TEA Party and your obvious love of Malcolm X.
North Texas voters; don’t let her *TEA Party* moniker influence anything either, Katrina Pierson is more concerned about The BLACK TEA Party and her love of Malcolm X, who SHE calls “The 1st TEA Partier” than she is anything else, and it seems like there’s barely a day goes by that Pierson isn’t having to defend herself from *smear campaigns* simply because of her less than wonderful word choices.
Pete Sessions doesn’t need to sit down with you in a public forum Ms. Pierson. You’re doing a wonderful job of shooting yourself in the foot with NO help from Pete Sessions or his campaign.

I worked with Katrina Pierson about 16 years ago where she booked appointments for Drs. She had an affair with a married man who worked there and whose wife was 8 months pregnant with twins; another person opened a letter Katrina sent to him and immediately gave it to the supervisor. I really liked his wife who got a divorce shortly after the twins were born. Katrina knew as did everyone that the couple were expecting.

I have had 2 emails and a couple of attempts from Katrina Pierson folk wanting to post anti-Pete stuff on MY blog telling me that there is no way in hell Pete Sessions can be a good Congressman because he’s a SEX PERVERT…
Now imagine MY surprise when they told me that Pete Sessions had been a *streaker*… I may have to demand PICTURES!! 😛
As it turns out, YES, Pete DID streak, with the track team in college, and about 2K other folks, in 1974, his Freshman year, that made him maybe 18??

Thank you for the information. I do have one concern about Pete that maybe you can either answer on your blog or just email to me if you don’t want to post it. I’ve heard that after Pete got divorced and remarried that he mostly lives in Florida now but keeps a residence here so he can continue to represent CD32. If this is true, it’s something I would be upset about. However, I can find no confirmation of this, so I’m wondering if you know anything.
Like you, I too have heard those stories, but I have no information one way or the other… Unlike you, frankly, I don’t give a damn if he has a house in Florida, one here, one in Washington. DC, where ever he lives is, as far as I am concerned, HIS business, as long as he is a legal resident of THIS district, and he is, I have no issues what so ever…
