Already, in my opinion, the Left is losing support because they see the Democrats waning in ideas. As have they always. People are beginning to grow tired of the Hard Left ramming philosophies and lifestyles down their collective throats. And, more truthfully, the pendulum always swings back and forth, back and forth.

Well, I'm not politically correct and I will NOT bastardize the word GAY in my description of a HOMOSEXUAL... I tried to be fairly nice in what I said when I referred toÂ Oakley's big support areas as enlightened, but I can get more graphic if I need to...

I don’t see how Oakley being a pitcher or a catcher really entered into this race. Leppert won on policy.

Oh, I’m sure some folks voted against Oakley because he’s gay, but I’m willing to bet roughly equal numbers voted for him for the same reason. They cancelled each other out. In the end, it was Leppert’s business acumen and the hope that he can do something about the crime problem that won the day.
