Eyebrows were raised last week by a fundraising invitation sent by the Friends Of Bill de Blasio. de Blasio, who managed Hillary Clinton’s Senate campaign, held the December 7 event to fund his run for the 39th Councilmanic District seat. The invitation listed the committee’s address as 88 Third Avenue, which may be familiar to some as the address for the community group ACORN. The contact on the invitation was Kara Hood, an ACORN political organizer. One insider thought that the connection between the candidate and the community group was too tight, and could imply that ACORN’s stance on community issues was politicized. “That’s a little too close for comfort for me,” he said.

I completely agree. I know some very decent people, and for one reason or another, they’ve gotten fooled by the charisma of Obama. Mostly because of their hatred for Bush, which I cannot begrudge them one bit. Bush has pretty much pissed off everyone. He’s an equal opportunity offender.

I’m of the opinion that Bush has more to do with people liking Obama than Obama does.

I was trying, very calmly, to discuss this issue with what I thought was a reasonably intelligent, college educated, owns her own business, Hillary supporter, this morning. It was such an odd conversation, I wish I had had a tape recorder. I got the Dhimmi Party line….”I hate Sarah Palin….Obama will be wonderful for our country…all the nonsense about Obama are lies” yada yada yada, ad nauseum. When I tried to explain to her how many DOCUMENTED negatives that are actually against Bubba Hussein, I thought the woman was going to have a stroke.

One thing she said the stood out was that “a woman shouldn’t be president”. Say whut? I pointed out that Palin was running for VP, not pres. “Well, McCain is going to die.” Yeah…we are all…100%. “Palin is too hot headed.” And her candidate, Hillary is not? “But Hillary knows what she’s doing!”

I’m so confused! What is with these people? Are they passing out stupid pills at the Dhimmi HQ?
