Married three months ago in California, Ms. Young and Vivienne Armstrong, her partner, joined more than 1,200 other Dallas-area residents who gathered outside Dallas City Hall on Saturday to peacefully protest California’s Proposition 8, which banned same-sex marriage in that state.
Proposition 8, narrowly approved by California voters on Nov. 4, amends the state’s constitution to define marriage as between a man and a woman. Opponents have already challenged the measure in the California Supreme Court, arguing that gay marriage is a fundamental right.
The legal ramifications seem far from settled. California Attorney General Jerry Brown has said Proposition 8’s passage probably won’t nullify about 18,000 same-sex marriages in that state, but legal experts say the matter isn’t clear.

Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.”
And Leviticus 18:22 is translated: “Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination.”

I believe that marriage is a sacred right between a man and a woman, and I seriously DO hope that the homosexuals can get this perverted bullshit on the ballot here in Texas again, they will NOT bastardize the sanctity of marriage in Texas, Dallas County will be all over it, Dallas County is apparently faggot heaven, the rest of Texas is not that *progressive*.

The compromise was found in California, the same sex domestic partner act gave registered same sex partners the same rights as married people… That was not good enough, they want more and this is what happens when they dont get it. I think it’s time to make a stand.

The people have spoken against gay marriage and now the proponents demand the courts overturn what the people wanted. Expect the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals to overstep their boundaries once again as the most liberal court in the land to legislate from the bench. And expect them to be overruled once again. Too bad those appeals court justices can’t be removed for incompentence. When your decisions get overturned by a higher court so many times, that is a clue that they are incompentent and should be removed. If a group of doctors had a high death rate, would they be allowed to practice medicine?
I was raised a Christian (A Methodist) and while I’m long fallen away I despise queers.

52% of Californians do not want to recognize “gay marriage” in their state, and that is considered “unacceptable” and the community affected wants to reverse the result, which would be “acceptable”?
53% of voters DO want Obama to lead them, and that’s “acceptable” and if the community affected (conservatives) want the result reversed that would be “unacceptable”?
Texas is just a little bit out of California’s jurisdiction – what good is protesting a California election result in Texas?
Arizona and Florida have also passed constitutional amendments to not recognize “gay marriage” yet no one seems to be protesting the AZ and FL votes? What, no gay communities in those states?
