Thank you guys for the support. I was asked about financial donations for him as well and posted what limited information I have on that in the article on my site. Parkland has a fund set up for donations in his name, but due to HIPPA laws they would not release that information to me without family consent. His sister is getting me the correct details, so when I get them I will update. In the mean time:

My daughter has recieved several gallons of blood from genourous people like ya’ll. If donating through the red cross you can give in honor of anyone, on any list, from any State. They might not get your blood, or platelets but, they will get someones. They also give the reciepient a credit to help defray the cost of the blood. Good luck!, and know that this family is in my prayers.

Giving the gift of blood or plasma isn’t just a good idea, it is a great idea. And not just at Christmas time, but any time of the year.

Although not in the Dallas area, I will go down and give. It might just save a life.
