Bush says: Terrorists will follow us here!!

July 12th, 2007 . by TexasFred

This story was inspired as the result of a comment in THIS thread, I was going to simply respond to the comment from my buddy Sage but it got totally out of hand, and since I hate LONG comments I thought it would make a pretty good post, thanks Sage, this one’s for you my friend!! And I tried to make a decent post from your inspiration…

Sage Says:
July 12th, 2007 at 1:38 pm

If we bring our men and women warriors back home will the terrorists follow?

Probably, but then that might be an incentive for us to really bring the fight to them in a way that Fred and Gunz and I were trained to do so long ago. ‘Nuff said

Sage, I honestly don’t think we have to worry about ANY terrorists following us home, if the terrorists are going to be HERE, in the USA, they are here right now, they aren’t going to FOLLOW us anywhere, that is a Bush-ism and Bush is full of crap…

How are they going to follow us here?? That’s the part that totally baffles me, will they follow us with their Air Force when they fly in here and drop bombs on our cities, or with their mighty Navy as they sail over the seas and ocean to launch an amphibious invasion on our beaches?? With Navies and Air Forces they don’t have?? Out of fairness, I thought I’d better mention that part…

They don’t need to invade us my friends, they are already here, in force, and are simply awaiting orders to strike…

If we pulled out of Iraq and Afghanistan, right now, I mean immediately, and didn’t kill so much as one more ragheaded terrorist, there’s not ONE of them that will, or can FOLLOW us home, not if our government is doing the job of securing THIS nation that they are supposed to be doing, securing OUR borders and coastlines, OUR airports, OUR NATION

George W. Bush and his cronies thrive on keeping this nation in fear, U.S. sees increased terrorism risk, without that fear Bush is nothing more than a powerless figurehead, he uses fear tactics to prop up his administration as he tries desperately to keep that 29% approval rating from falling any further than it has so far…

And IF his approval rating does fall any further, we WILL be told that the terrorist are at the gates and that an attack is imminent, that is the standard Bush fear tactic, the man is a miserable failure in nearly all areas of his presidency, and he, as well as his entire administration, is running very scared, their fear mongering is ALL they have and they are attempting to keep the American people in fear as well, it’s their only hope of maintaining any kind of control as they try to deflect the attention of the American people away from their other misadventures…

The war in Iraq has absolutely nothing to do with making America safe, or safer, NOTHING, and our president is lying to you, to me, to ALL Americans and to the entire world in a desperate bid to vindicate himself for making the most unnecessary military blunder the United States government has ever made…

IF our authorities that are already in place in this nation were simply allowed to do their jobs, if they were re-enforced by the National Guard troops that are deployed in Iraq and Afghanistan, if they had the untold BILLIONS of OUR tax dollars to work with, the BILLIONS of dollars that have been WASTED in Iraq and Afghanistan, we could have the most secure nation on the face of this earth and we would have NOTHING to fear, from anyone or any other nation or group of people…

But we have a president that’s trying to cover his own ass, and all the mistakes that he and his band of merry makers have foisted off on the people of this nation over the last 6 1/2 years, and until he is called into a FULL accounting for his actions, all we can do is keep on writing those letters to Congress and the Senate, LTTE, posting to our blogs and commenting on blogs that have the courage to speak the truth concerning the Bush administration and it’s madness…

And if we are attacked again, on OUR soil, it WILL be done by assets that are already in place, that is a fact folks, regardless of what the Bush administration tells you, and IF we are attacked again, there will likely be a response from the people of this nation, directed against the supporters OF those attackers, a response that will be so violent that the entire world will be stunned by it’s ferocity and the fighting ability of the American people when they are forced to fight for their homeland and their survival…

And as Sage so aptly opined, ’nuff said!

The Kumbaya crowd just doesn’t get it–and they never will. It matters not to them that we’ve gone so long without another attack on our soil, it matters not to them the ones that have been caught before they couldn implement their plans…and it matters not to them that these people have said, repeatedly, they will annihilate us. It matters not to them what actual facts are, they’re too full of BDS to see facts as facts, and everything to them is yet another conspiracy.

I pity them and their true ignorance. And, when the terrorists are here (like the ones coming across the borders), and slicing off their heads, maybe, JUST MAYBE they’ll have an “uh-oh george, we were wrong” moment…but I doubt it.

It was said this morning Al-Qaeda doesn’t have a country–yet they think they can feed the line about an air force or navy…those are things based and funded by COUNTRIES no ideologies.

    Truly, truly sad.

I honestly believe Bush sold this country out, specifically in the following:

    1. His prosecution in the war on terror, in particular his deliberate failure to apprehend Osama bin Laden
    2. His “sold his soul” alliance with the Ted Kennedy crown in pushing this new comprehensive immigration reform bill. Furthermore, he and other Republicans accused those of us opposed to this glorified amnesty bill of being nothing more than xenophobic, bigots.

However, I cannot blame the Iraqi invasion for inciting Muslim hatred (like they need another reason)…simply put, they abhor us because of WHO we are. ON my site, I attempt to identify specific villains on the Left who have somehow allied themselves with Islamic monsters in their mutual hatred of Pres. Bush.

Frankly, they hated us BEFORE we invaded Iraq.

  3. comment number 3 by: TexasFred

Yep, you’re right Todd, the Muslim world hated us long before we went to Iraq…

I honestly believe that’s a place we didn’t need to go either, and trust me, I have had some of the ‘Bush Bot Bitches’ call me some really good names, but you know, they get all pissy, the PMS mode I guess, when you go back on em, “You only attack women”, that’s the response I got from the ‘Queen Bush Bot’…

She’s terribly wrong too, I will attack anyone that I feel is hurting our nation, and IN MY OPINION George W. Bush has done at least as much to hurt this nation as ANY terrorist…

  4. comment number 4 by: GUNZ

Fred you’ve out done yourself on this one…

I dunno how it could be put ANY better than that. Hell even with the way I think, THIS made me ‘think’ lol.

    Hell of an explanation bro.

    Great piece.

  5. comment number 5 by: LittleOleLady

I agree that those that will eventually attack us again are already here and IMO planning what they will eventually do… I have thought this for a long time, good grief the 9/11 hijackers were already here weren’t they.

I am curious to know how many are mixed in among those numbers of illegal invaders that sneaked in through Mexico, the invaders that el Presidente wanted to run around like a green card fairy in a pair of tights tossing out ‘free pass’ cards to.

I think many have forgotten that Muslims (those in the Middle East AND here) hated us before 9/11, before we invaded Afghanistan and before we invaded Iraq. We invaded, kicked their arses and took the country’s, now they need to be US territories if we intend any sign of democracy to remain after we leave. JMHO.

  6. comment number 6 by: Ranando

I agree with Gunz on this one.

You have gone way beyond the call of duty, well done.

    There’s nothing I can add.

  7. comment number 7 by: Basti

We were attacked by the Islimes on 09/11/01 and we weren’t in Iraq or Afghanistan then, so the argument about following us home like a lost dog is bullshit. The Mexican border is wide open, the Canadian border is wide open, so if you want in, jut walk in. However you can come in style if you want, just board a plane with a tourist or student visa and stay as long as you like, that’s how the 9/11 Moon-Bats got here.

As for Iraq I see the last of our troops e-vacing from the US embassy in Baghdad in a replay of V/Nam. I don’t know why we fight these wars now days, we surely don’t intend to win them. We’ve done a carbon copy of V/Nam in Iraq with people in D.C. micro-managing the war how have no war fighting skills at all. JFC this shit really pisses me off! You’d think we would have learned from the example of V/Nam, but we didn’t!

I think the point of saying “the terrorists will follow us over here” is only to say that if the terrorists aren’t focused on fighting in Iraq and Assghanistan (which they wouldn’t be if we left those countries), they would focus more on attacking inside the US. The thought of two democratic muslim nations in the Middle East seems to be enough to warrant a focus of attention for the Islamo-tards to the point of possibly putting attacks on US soil on the backburner. I can’t say that I necessarily disagree with that premise. I also don’t believe you can just pull back and build a nice big wall at the borders and the ports and just play defense all day. If you allow them to build up and train and raise money, etc. etc. unimpeded in some giant Taliban-type Islamic Republic, then someone will get through, eventually.

That said, I do find the majority of your post to be very good. While Bush isn’t my favorite President of all time, I feel that we are, overall, just at a loss for leadership in this country. I think to myself, man, why did Bush do that? But then I have a hard time finding someone who I believe would do a better job. Sure, some people are better at certain issues. Tancredo would handle immigration better, Giuliani would probably handle terrorism better. ROmney would probably handle the economy better. But could any of those people handle all of those things better? Maybe.

PrivatePigg, we KNOW they are training, and we know WHERE, and I am of the opinion that the area of the Afghan/Paki border they are in needs to disappear…

We have the Intel, we have the resources, what we lack is a CiC with the balls to do it…

I think you are absolutely correct my friend and I agree with Gunz that this was a particularly splendid piece of journalism!!
Keep it up my friend :)

Earier this week, or maybe it was last week, GWB said that we have already learned that oceans won’t seperate us from the terrorists, which is true. Yet he doesn’t think our open southern border poses a threat to our security, I don’t understand the disconnect.

  12. comment number 12 by: reddog

Good post. I have always said why don’t we fight them here? It’s cheaper, more efficient, more fun and we would have the home field advantage.

They say that 46% of Americans now favor impeachment of the President. More trouble than he deserves. Tar, Feathers, A rail. A stern warning to get out of town and stay out.

  13. comment number 13 by: Bloviating Zeppelin

Senator Joe Lieberman on Hugh Hewitt this afternoon likewise admitted the US knows precisely where the terrorist training camps are located, in tribal areas within the western border of Pakistan. I’m thinking it’s time for an F-117 recon, swiftly followed by one or ten of your friendly, neighborhood B-2 Spirits, jam ge-packed with some really, really frangibly nasty shit.

  14. comment number 14 by: TexasFred

    BZ, that’s exactly what I’m talking about…

Why have all that marvelous ’stealth’ stuff and nuclear technology and not use it??

  15. comment number 15 by: Robert

I seriously doubt we will see an attack on US soil in the near future, not because of Bush’s war fighting skills LMAO or his homeland protection policy another LMAO.
The reason for the inactivity of terrorsts here in the state is simple:
An attack on the US risks unifying a divided country against them, therefore they won’t attack here (for now) they will wait until a Dem is elected and see what surrender they can achieve first.
    Great post Fred.

  16. comment number 16 by: Debbie

It’s taken some time, but I know understand Bush’s stubbornness on securing the border. It’s the North American Union. Folks thought this was just made up, but it’s for real. Bush wants it, open borders North and South. The terrorists can get in either way if they really want to, Iraq or not.

  17. comment number 17 by: R Willey

I don’t know who would have done more damage to our country….the global warming nut “Al Gore” or John Kerry, but after seeing the damage caused by the Bush administration it’s hard to believe that either of those possible choices would have been any worse. Bush will probably “stay the course” even if Laura and the dog desert him.

  18. comment number 18 by: Todd Anthony

R Willey: I agree with what you’re saying; I might disagree with you on a semantic point or two, nevertheless…

While I maintain a site known as “Right is Right” (which I’ve been attacked on by the mindless, “bleeding heart” Leftists), I also must state that while I, as a right-leaning individual, have tired of George Bush and the neocon crowd, will never call for the president’s impeachment, nor will I blame for causing terrorism. I will state unequivocally, that this war on terror probably started in 1979 (or even earlier, maybe 1948?) with the Islamic Revolution and the subsequent hostage crisis. We obviously underestimated the rage and power of the terrorists, thus the lack of action and their resulting future attacks (Marine barracks attack in 1983, countless plane hijackings, first Trade Center bombing, 1998 Embassy bombings, etc.)…

They despised us then for who we are/were…they continue to do the same. They have now completely entrapped the Left in their clutches; this a group that prides itself on all-encompassing multiculturism approach…although the Islamist abhors EVERYTHING the Left believes in: gay rights, women’s rights, LACK of religion, etc…

  19. comment number 19 by: Stanford Matthews

Every time this country is faced with war the public is way behind the curve. Entered WWI near the end. Only entered WWII after Pearl. Then Korea, Viet Nam, etc., etc. We were behind on defense before WWII. Had lost dog fighting skills by Viet Nam and hurried to correct. You get the idea.
Yup, Fred, it will take another extreme crisis to get the country behind the need. And then there will be no question to the meaning of shock and awe. There will be no deployments of boots on the ground but lots of smoke and craters.
