Lonerider, your so right!
But, what our great national guards are going to do is NOT PROTECT US but, round up all the refugees and ship them off to a site (fenced) with tents set up for the hundreds of thousands that will surge into our state and country.

Get ready for another big stimulus and let's make sure to tell our grandchildren that when they're adults and working, they're government will take 50 to 60% of their salary. Isn't it wonderful or isn't it a crime we are doing nothing about.
Our southern neighbors should be sent to Venezuela and see what Chevaz does with them. At least their they speak the same language. I'm getting tired of press this or say this if you want ENGLISH.

I'm going to ask it again.....has anyone talked about this state seceding from the union before it's to late?????

Is the mean, green government machine picking up my special words, like....secede, revolution, anarchy, civil war, mass confusion. I hope so. Maybe then we would........wake up!

Nothing like a show of force as a deterrent. They'll have to pass here before they go there. I think that the whole thing is ludicrous. And frankly, Mr. GWB is as culpable as anyone. Under his eight years, the border becmae more porous and less defensible. For all of the political correctness, it still remains that we've got a serious problem just outside of our door.

Angry? I say that anger and a healthy dose of fear, and total justification for owning a weapon (or two).

If it were only possible to put a few hundred folks like us along the border and arm us with BAR's,
There would be nothing left but sandals and sombreros.

Just as a point of fact, the "T" series the SXT series and the black talon are the same bullet, the difference in the end product is that the "T" series and the SXT did not have the "lubalox" (Moly) coating. there has been a ton of debate over moly coated bullets, (does the moly build up and cause more problems than the copper that it was supposed to stop?) but for all intents and purposes the bullet will do the same thing (it is VERY effective at stopping a crazed assailant) since the petals open to 6 very sharp points creating a HUGE primary wound cavity. and releasing all of the energy inside the target.

Also not all of the Winchester bullets "labeled" Ranger are the SXT or Talon design, some are just plain old hollow points, (Most of the ones marked subsonic) and some are frangible. there are also bonded core in both SXT and regular hollow points as well as total copper jackets for range use. I am sorry if I dragged this thread off topic too far. I like to talk about Arms and Ammunition.

I've been saying that many more American are going to have to loose their lives before anything substantial is done to protect citizens. My father-in-law was doing a Laredo turn from Dallas, but lost his bid. He really like that run, had his stops, liked the hotel room down there and all, but my wife and her mother are pleased he is heading north now, just a bit safer.

Last week he reported a car that had been parked in the same spot for a few months, and it appears it was owned by a woman who is suspected of killing a man, and assumed to have driven down to Laredo to cross the border.

I know there are honest Mexicans, and I am sure the majority are, but I see, hear, and read enough that scares me. If all hell breaks loose south of the border, it will be the trigger for an unprecedented surge of Mexicans across the border. I fear this will result in one (or possibly both) of two outcomes. Both of them equally unappealing.

A) An incident starts a riot(s), in one or more city. With the possibility of gangs members and mercenaries being in the mix, it could make the the riots of the past look like college parties.

B) The invades get labeled refugees, given express tickets to status refugees and permanent residence. Again the pestilence in the mix will increase violence in this country. Secondly, this will be millions of more people on the dole.

Folks, this is not good. And I am thankful I do not live further south, and I worry for those I know who do.

I'm using the Gold Dot's right now in my FNP-45 and Para Black Watch Companion.

The Colt Combat Commander that I gave my son seems to like Federal Hydra-Shocks best. It's finicky on what it will feed and the I've never had a jam with the Hydra-Shocks on that.

The best hollow point round is the one that feeds reliably.

There is absolutely NO difference between Black Talon and Ranger SXT. I keep my own defense pistols stuffed full of Ranger SXT 230 +P. Both the Golden Saber and Speer Gold Dot have recently proven to be extremely effective, as much so as even RangerSXT. (according to my research)

[...] For years now, we have warned that the folks in the south, especially those Americans along the border with Mexico, would eventually take matters into their own hands and deal with the problem of illegal aliens flooding across the border into the US. The tipping point may now have been reached. Now, we are not only having to contend with a tsunami of illegals crowding into our country, we also have to put up with murder and plunder by their dope gangs (Yes, l know the nice word is “cartel” but, hey, a gang is a gang no matter how you spell it!) and their “dope wars” involving Americans on the American side of the border. This cannot be tolerated. The folks in Texas have had it. For a refection of the way some Texans are feeling about all this we refer you to the site of our friend, and fellow blogger, “Texas Fred” HERE. [...]
