New Orleans was an example of Martial Law... That was a declaration needed simply because they asshole sons a bitches IN that shit hole called New Orleans were shooting at the troops and the cops that were there to SAVE their sorry asses, and that was, in MY opinion, the best, and likely safest action they could take... They took a few guns from the hands of people that were USING them, and before anyone brings up the old black woman in the YouTube, she may not have shot at anyone but she was trying... Once in a while, if I am under fire particularly, I am going to do one of 2 things, take their guns away to negate them killing me as I am trying to save them or I am going to return fire in great volume... You pick it.... NOLA was a rescue mission, not an exercise in 2A rights, the only ones that had guns taken away were those that were trying to shoot the hired help... Then demonize the ones who don't register, pick us up/off one by one here and there, brand us "terrorists" in the media, divide and conquer, start with the 50 cals, "sniper rifles" (hunting rifles), "Saturday night specials" (any handgun suitable for concealed carry), picking off certain types of ammo, it goes on and on. They will have the full complicity of the media, of course. I wish I had that much confidence in the local police.
