Minneapolis Bridge Collapse ALL Bush’s Fault…

August 2nd, 2007 . by TexasFred
I have never had a problem with criticizing the Bush administration when and where I felt it due, but this bridge collapse is NOT something I consider to be a failing of the Bush administration, but you just have to know, some of the very far left moonbats DO think it’s ALL the fault of Bush and the U.S. government, so with no further ado, I take you on a small trek thru the insanity that is Democratic Underground

Spelling, punctuation and grammatical errors are ALL theirs, I made NO corrections…

1. Hey.. bridges, once built, last forever with no replacement necessary at least that’s how republican leadership thinks..There are THOUSANDS of bridges in the US that are unsafe.. and just waiting to fall down

5. This is horrible
Reporter says there could have been one 100 cars were on the bridge moving at between 10-15MPH. Why do people pay taxes? How many billions a day is Bush spending in Iraq while infrastructure is deteriorating?

14. Is it really appropriate to blame this on the Republicans?
Not everything is a partisan issue, guys. We don’t know what happened here. Seems kind of ghoulish to me.

26. It’s a collapsing infrastructure.
There have been plenty of reports for plenty of years detailing why the crumbling infrastructure is a greater threat to the country than terrorism.Bridges, levees, steam pipes, electrical grids, dams…This is just more blood on Bushes hands.

29. damn this fucking government too busy funneling money into

I think that was part of his plan for the surplus. I don’t have a link but I remember him talking about it. It was also in the 2000 party platform.

44. And some of them are even brand new.
Here in Charleston, our brand new Arthur Ravenel Jr. (please note who it’s named for) bridge over the Cooper River opened a whole year ahead of schedule, replacing the Silas Pearman and Grace Memorial bridges. Bridges that had stood for over 30 and 60 years, respectively. I told my husband when it opened that there was no way I’d ever travel across it. A year off the estimated time it would take to build meant that they had cut corners somewhere and that thing just wasn’t safe.Only about 2 years old now, they’re closing lanes because the bridge is in serious need of repair. And they’ve destroyed the 2 bridges that were still capable of carrying traffic.

56. prelude to the big one… hang on to your hats,
the psycho killers are on the move and fear is their weapon. the MSM will blow this up to gigantic proportions…

OK, I gotta take a shower, I try to stay away from the DUmp but this was too good to pass up, but every time I go DUmp diving I walk away feeling all nasty and slimy…

These are just a few of the wonderfully supportive Americans that are proud, money donating members of DemocRATic Underground…

I expected this to happen since they also blamed the harsh hurricane season of ‘05 on the Republican party.

It is incredibly disheartening to read their words which confirm my worries that there is little intelligence coming from them.

I actually checked TokyoRosies blog today to see if she had pinned this on the prez yet.
You know, about Katrina…I survived Donna, Hugo and a few others in my life, and never knew until 2005 that it was all our Government’s fault, and not an act of God or nature. Imagine my surprise . I wonder if I can go back and sue Ike’s admin., cause I still have a tacky scar on my arm from Donna. All the Gov’t gave us was shots that hurt like hell so we woiuldn’t get sick and die. Damn them !!!! :-p

Let’s not forget that Bush blew up the levies after Katrina, he probably blew up the bridge also. :)
It’s amazing that these people can make a political issue out of everything.

oops..sorry…Rosie O’Donnell…big mouthed broad that insistes Bush blew up Bld 7 at WTC. Everything is Bushes fault in her head. Today’s modern day version of Jane Fonda

I don’t think anyone of them has enough intelligence to fit on the head of a very small pen! Hurricanes are the government’s fault?! Collapsing bridges are a result of the War on Terror? What’s next – flooding in Texas because of the rain?

STUPIDITY – it’s what they strive for!
