I attended one in my area, about 4,000 showed, and helped get people signed in and handed literature and water.

The fight has only begun.

Doesn’t matter how many actually showed up Fred. The fact is people made the effort to be there representing all those who couldn’t.

Over 2,000 Tea Parties nation wide all of them filled with patriots from every walk of life imaginable.

Even in the land of fruits and nuts, Sacramento produced an estimated 10,000 total by days end. I arrived an hour early, and had to park in the North Forty so I knew the crowd was already there. The MC told us that 3,000 plus were already in attendance with more arriving by the truck load every minute. Before I left 2 hours later we were elbow to elbow in a sea of patriots.
What a great day!!

Watching clips of the protests on the news last night, I realized that for every protester, there was at least 5 other who would have been out there if they didn’t have to work or have other obligations. I think the people out there were only the tip of the iceberg.

Retail prices in stores are already going up as businesses prepare for the massive increase in taxes. I work retail and every week we’re posting price increases as our corporate office prepares for the inevitable.

CNN really slammed the Tea Party Protesters in one of their segments.

Also sounds like the tea parties nationwide got at least some coverage in the MSM.

Rick Perry is certainly full of surprises. I’ve never cared for him at all, but I could almost like him for this sudden state’s rights advocacy, if it wasn’t for that whole Trans-Texas Corridor thing. He’s still got some ‘splainin’ to do on the TTC.

We had about 2-300 today out of 5000. Poorly organized though. We had a few guest speakers but no PA system, and the people in the back (me) couldn’t hear what was being said. I’m lucky to hear the missus in the kitchen. LOL Did read all the signs though.

Vigilante, I learned something today, you can’t tuck an XD-45 Tactical into your boot, NOT with your big damned leg in there…

I had to carry a smaller piece, not a problem, we had a great turnout, not even a hint of trouble…
