This is only a small sample of the leftard lunacy being spewed in the comments section of the USA Today story. Much of it, hell, most of it, has nothing to do with the original story, it’s simply an opportunity for the loons on the left to spew their garbage and look for new ways to denigrate the American soldier and this nation!
To the families of the dead soldiers, my heart breaks for you and yours, your sons died in service to this nation, I am NOT going to make a political statement against them in any way, I stand and salute them and share in your loss! OUR loss!
Those comments only goes to show how stupid the left is. One clown asks about possible NRA membership and the lemmings take it as gospel fact the guy was a NRA member.
They keep wanting to blame Bush. Wouldn’t it be something if the guy turns out to be an Obama supporter? I wonder what they would do then?
Bush messed up on a lot of things, especially the war, and he gets no quarter here for doing so. But, for some reason, the majority of men and women in uniform still love the guy. I’ve even heard of some who retired earlier than planned so they could have his signature on their retirement certificates instead of Obama’s.
My sincere prayers with the families of these brave young heroes.

There are some questions about this though. It will be interesting to find out if the assailant was a follower of Islam. OR will Obama keep that from the public eye while he is so transparent….I understand it happened in a “Counseling” area, possibly a “Gun Free” or at least “Gun Restricted” zone? I also want to know how this guy killed five on a base and is alive to go before a court? that don’t sound right.
It’s tragic that this happened. We all know that there are people that go nuts and commit crimes in all walks of life…even the military….God bless the families of the slain.

To all of you that are making jokes and blaming everyone for the actions of one, why don’t you just “SHUT THE FUCK UP” and enjoy the Freedom to badmouth the Military and those who serve in it. If you think you can do any better at fixing these problems then make yourself known and go out and fix it. Until then just sit back and play “Arm Chair Quarterback” and make your jokes and comments. I am a Veteran of OIF and I knew why I was there and what I was fighting for. The only ones that complained are the ones that are lazy and disgraceful to the uniform anyway. This guy did a bad thing and I am not defending him or his actions but, none of you were there so you have no idea what led up to this. It’s a bad situation for us all but the blame and jokes about President Bush and his administration are way out of line. Who knows this guy might be one of the many “Fobbits” that never left the wire and didn’t understand the issues at hand. I am an American Veteran and a Life Member of the NRA, however I do not have to have guns to deal with my PTSD, I have to have guns to protect my family from all of the idiots that like to criticize “Gun Owners” until they are the victims of a crime. It’s just like being a Police Officer, everyone hates us until they need us. If I offended anyone with my comments, deal with it, I consider Fred part of my Family so he is the only one I apologize to.
Remember Sgt. HASAN AKBAR in 2003, who rolled grenades under the bunks of two soldiers? He was convicted and sentenced to death. Akbar is still awaiting execution by lethal injection.

I echo the sentiments of Melinda777. Unfortunately in all wars you have a few bad apples. The secret is to deal with them harshly and promptly. During the Vietnam war we had a lot of drug use in the enlisted ranks, especially during the the conflicts later years. Some of these clowns would toss a grenade into the quarters of an NCO or officer if given an order they didn’t like. Draftees and the drug culture of the time didn’t mix. Fortunately the Global War on Terror has had very few of these incidents.
It is sad when a soldier snaps like this. I feel for the families who lost a loved one.
I would like to feel my foot in the face of those commenters.
Just where doe these people live?, work?, own a home?, married?, students?, I really would like to know their “demographics”. Lunacy Liberals all of them, but still all of them don’t crawl out of bat caves, or come up oot of gopher holes!
