HARTFORD, Conn. (AP) – A New Jersey blogger who urged readers to “take up arms” against Connecticut lawmakers and who suggested government officials should “obey the Constitution or die” surrendered Thursday on a charge of inciting violence.
Harold “Hal” Turner, a former radio talk show host from North Bergen who broadcasts commentary on his Web site, was angry over legislation that would have given lay members of Roman Catholic churches in Connecticut more control over their parish’s finances. The bill, brought by state Sen. Andrew McDonald and Rep. Michael Lawlor, was withdrawn in March.
Turner was charged by Capitol Police in Connecticut with inciting injury to persons or property, and released after posting bond. He is due in court June 22.
On June 2, Turner wrote on his blog, turnerradionetwork.blogspot.com, that Catholics should “take up arms and put down this tyranny by force,” and promised to post the lawmakers’ home addresses.

I guess they’re going to allow him to use the editing features maybe?? I suppose the long arm of the law, Obama’s boys, got them to shut it down. I am only guessing here, pure speculation on my part. But things like this only reinforce my feelings that you just need to be really careful in the wording of your posts.
For those of you that don’t know who Harold “Hal” Turner is, I did a quick Google search and this was what I got:
Harold Charles “Hal” Turner is an American white nationalist and white supremacist from North Bergen, New Jersey. He runs his program, The Hal Turner Show, as a webcast from his home once a week, and depends on donations from his listeners. He quit the show in July 2008 and resumed in April 2009. In August 2008 his website also closed down, though he retains a blog.
Turner promotes antisemitism (including the rounding up and killing of Jews) and opposes the existence of the state of Israel. He also denies the Holocaust. In 2005, Turner organized what he billed as a “rally against violence” after a white student was beaten by a black student at a high school. In 2006, he got into a fight with Jaime Vazquez, a former Jersey City deputy mayor, after Vazquez called him a “racist coward”. Turner has made numerous threats against political figures on his website and in other forums. SOURCE
There sure seems to be a lot of this anti-Semite, 9-11 Truthers, Holocaust deniers BS going around lately. The Wiki search goes on to intimate that Turner may have started off as some sort of conservative personality. I thought I was acquainted with, or had at least heard of most notable conservatives, strange, I never heard of this guy until now.
Conservatives aren’t anti Semitic, they aren’t 9-11 Truthers and they aren’t Holocaust deniers, not any REAL Conservative. There may be some fringe elements that call themselves conservatives that espouse these beliefs, but there are RINOs that claim to be conservatives too. Come to your own conclusion.
Turner’s views have drawn scrutiny before. The FBI questioned him, but did not charge him with any crime, in 2005 after the mother and husband of U.S. District Judge Joan Humphrey Lefkow were found shot to death in Chicago. In an interview with The Associated Press at the time, Turner said he was questioned because two years earlier he had said on his radio show that Lefkow “was worthy of being killed.”
This Turner character is another moonbat much similar to the von Brunn guy that murdered the guard at the Holocaust Museum on June 10th. Just another hate filled anti-Semite that claims to hate the whole world. Quite likely, he hates himself and only seeks to assign blame for his own failings.
Or, he’s simply a mad man that needs to be locked away.
I’ve often noticed that yahoos like this, and the museum murderer, and others of their ilk, often hate themselves the most, and have NO sense of personal responsibility….it’s ALWAYS someone else’s fault. And they seriously make me want to puke on their heads!

I’ve read this guy’s blog several times and it’s a shame really. He makes some very good, well thought out, well presented points… And then goes on to use those well presented views to justify some extremely radical stuff. And I mean out there. Hal advocates the killing of all blacks merely because they are blacks and even goes so far as to say that they are not even human. Much the same crap concerning Jews. And Mexicans. And Puerto Ricans, and pretty much anyone who is not just like him.
The shame is that Hal, and the other extremist wackos give the liberals ammunition to justify, or so they think, attacking all conservatives and labeling us all as wackos. I mean, hey, I am proud to be a White American Male Patriot, but I do not think that gives me the right to shit on everyone else.
I’m wondering if that guy was related, by name in some fashion, to the supremacists’ bible, “The Turner Diaries”.
I don’t believe we have much to worry about as bloggers, as this guy was likely already on any number of radar patterns because of his association with and embracement of some clearly supremacist stuff.

Some time ago I posted about Fifth Column actions. I don’t remember if it was a post at Conservative Libertarian Outpost, a comment at USGOA, or here.
Think about a few things though. Every time there is some sort of crisis guess what happens? More gun control is presented by the obamanites, and..? More gross shootings and degradation of gun owners, law abiding or not. The impostor rages against the United States, and what happens? A terrorist attacks an American Soldier and kills him as well as wounds another soldier. Result? Gun control, and nothing at all said in the MSN that the creep was a jihadist! Then, some whack job shoots up a Holocaust Museum, and what? He’s a gun toting conservative…
Now, as a sort of conformation, we have yet another whack job administering threats..?
I am thinking that this may indeed be a fifth column mission…
And now folks, I will remove my tin hat, the one with the super neato antennas so that I get better reception.
