My good friend, Zelda, at the Urbain Grind pointed out that Mir-Hossein Mousavi was prime minister of Iran during the early 1980′s and was most likely behind the bombing of the Marine Barracks in Beirut. He was also one of the founders of Hezbollah.

She sums it up as this: these riots in Tehran are nothing more than Iranians angry that one religious fanatic leader was chosen over the other.

Zelda is an Iranian Jew.

In my opinion – we should simply get out of the way. Let them have at each other. Sooner or later we will have to go after Iran. The fewer there are, when that day comes, the more enhanced our chances for victory. Just being practical… you understand.

they will let the stupid ass Americans go about re building their country with hospitals, embassies, roads, airports, and getting rid of saddam at the costs of hundred of billions of dollars and thousands of lives lost. Then, they will tell us to get the F*%^ck out ( they already have) and then with political correcteness stuck in their asses by the news media/politicians, our Warrior’s will once again leave not really knowing whether they won a war or not. The WARRIORS did all the fighting and dieing and helping the people and the g’dammed douche bag politicians will take all the credit. Makes me want to vomit.

So what do they want us to do? Send our American soldiers over there, spend billions of dollars (what the hell) and make everything better. Give me a flipping break.
If we go over there today and fix everything and spit shine their shoes on the way out, they will HATE us before the door hits our American ASS. America can’t afford a snow cone right now, but the world still has its hand out. Green Avatar. Yippiiiiii, that’s going out of their way.

Americans either have very short memories or many of them are just plain stupid! Back in the days of the Iran–Iraq War, Iraq was OUR ally because Iran was our hated enemy because of the U.S. embassy in Tehran. This Iranian Freedom BS is just as ludicrous as was Iraqi Freedom, we didn't go to Iraq to FREE anyone, we went to kill Saddam, freedom was a secondary after thought and freedom in it's truest sense is still not an assured thing in Iraq... Why in the hell should I care what happens to a bunch of ragheads that are going to go right back to hating us, and plotting new ways to KILL us once they are done killing each other?
