If they're going to make us all speak Spanish then I see an opportunity here.

Develope a program, the best ever for teaching people Spanish, a crash course.

My friend who wrote a book that helps English speaking construction workers deal with Spanish speaking construction workers and vice versa. Sells around 50 books aday.

If you have to do something, you might as well make money doing it.

I don't speak Spanish..I can read some and generally figure out what is happening. But the point you make is a great one..what we need is an amendment to our constitution..or at least a law..requiring that public schools be taught in English. All voting ballots must be in English. And all business documents and government business be conducted in English. I may just start boycotting any business that wants me to punch one for English.

I suppose Eby's safe, at least for now being that she teaches in this school district.

As an educator herself she says what businesses are looking more and more for is the ability to speak Chinese, it's something that's talked about in all the educational meetings she attended last year. Maybe we'll start seeing that one day as a foreign language course common in most schools.

I think those red bastards are trying to poison the world.

In the state of KY alone, 5 mins away, there are over 243 known foreign languages spoken by students as per the KY Dept of Education 2004. Top 3: 1. Spanish 2. French 3. Mandarin Chinese.

This crap is all screwed up.

Well, it seems if we don't stand up against this crap, we will not be standing much longer.

I had to enroll my daughter in a new school the other day, and it is in a different state, Ohio to be exact. We sat down with a school counselor and made up the schedule of classes she'll be taking...

Well at first I was glad, as she was, that she didn't have to take Spanish because as the counselor stated it's no longer something colleges are looking for from would be applicants. So it's no longer being pushed, at least in this particular school district.

But I realized that if she don't have to take Spanish or any of the other foreign languages offered then a non English speaking student don't have to take English? It would be a double standard otherwise and you can bet a wet back would argue that for all it's worth.

It's these damn colleges, and the push for the moonbat dream of multiculturalism that are dictating what high schools teach.

And that's a damn shame.
