Dropping the public option is a good start. Hopefully in his quest to gain a victory over the Republicans he will alienate the liberals who want the public option to remain.

Hi Fred – ‘Can’t agree more about dropping Palin from this thread – not in context. Perhaps the real “public option” is simply voting OUT anyone who votes in favor of any of this crap. the congresscritters might be catching on .

If the government attempts to do anything with healthcare it should be to fix it not swap it or dismantle it. I have already listed out what needs fixing but nobody is talking about those issues.
These are pure socialists looking for another rung on the ladder. They will take an inch at a time if that is all they can get.

Keep the full court press on.

Vigilante, I have heard all I can stand about that woman, it just gets to me once in a while… So many people think she’s Joan of Arc, and she’s nothing but a QUITTER that couldn’t take the pressure…

It saddens me when I see people that are otherwise great, smart and dedicated Conservatives falling for this Palin stuff.. Sorry… I just don’t buy into it!

It is called “incrementalism.” Getting what you want one piece at a time rather than the whole thing all at once. The socialists have used it for decades and THAT is what Obama is proposing right now with the HEALTH INSURANCE COOPERATIVES! We cannot afford to allow them to get away with it. We have to lean on them even harder than we have in the past few days.

Keep up the pressure everybody. We ain’t winning yet, but, at least, we have slowed their momentum!

I can’t add a whole lot to what’s already been said. I will however say this. healthcare is a big distraction, a really big one. Now, just what else is going on while we are all concentrating on this..?
