If Iraq is to be a sovereign nation, we have no business telling their leadership how to run their country. We can’t expect Iraq to be another America. The people there have different values and mindset from Americans. Like you said, they elected their government and it’s up to them to vote them out of office if they’re unhappy.

Slowly but surely we are seeing a nation rise from the ashes of Sadaam’s Iraq. It took this country from 1775 until after 1900 to get our act together. We can’t expect Iraq to accomplish the same in a few years time.
