Boycott School on the 8th!

Let the school know why. Let your voice be heard. If enough children stay out, someone will have to notice!

Sign the petition, pass this link to everyone you know. This MUST be stopped, I don't want Barack Hussein Obama speaking to MY kids, MY grands, YOUR kids, YOUR grands or any other child...

hardheadedtexan, the vast majority of parents who home school their children only have a high school education. If you do some research you will see many of these children are being actively recruted by major universities in the US because of their strong work and study ethics. There are many orginizations that offer home school courses which are vastly superior than what is offered in the public schools.

Speaking of schools. I'm here visiting family in NY State. Folks here are pissed that NY gave welfare famlies stimulus money in the form of ATM/debit cards to purchase school suplies for their kids. They got $200 per eligable child. So, a welfare queen with 5 kids got $1,000. A delivery driver for Syracuse told me that every ATM in the city was emptied that weekend they got the money and sales of alcohol and tobbaco shot up.

Whereas I applaud the outrage over the POTUS directly addressing our youth, I cannot help but wonder why it takes such a blatant disrespect for our rights as parents to get everyone with any moral fiber to speak out against the on going, daily indoctrination that has been taking place with ever increasing ferocity in our public schools for many years. After all, do parents really think that 13 years or more of government sponsored and directed education which in much of its fundamental philosophy goes against their cherished values and beliefs will not have far more of an influence on their children toward a godless, immoral, socialistic mindset and with accompanying activity?
I highly recommend and advocate Home school or a faith based private school teaching of all children. I admit that not everyone can afford private school and not everyone has the luxury of being able to home school. Which, quite frankly, is a product of the undermining of our social values which, ironically, originates from the social indoctrination of our generation that put Mom out in the work place rather than at home. Now I know that I sound like a sexist, and that's because I am. Yes, I truly believe that men and women are different and are generally better suited for different roles. And that's ok, as long as it is freely accepted but those involved. I am lucky enough to have a very intelligent, highly educated woman who agrees with me that it is better for all involved if Mom can stay at home with the kids while the kids are of the age that need her to be. I believe the the problem is that we have lost the values that allow a woman to feel satisfaction and value from not earning a wage. There is far more value in what my wonderful wife does than there is in earning a wage. My wage only has value in the fact that it allows her to be home for our children. And don't get the wrong idea, I don't make that much and it is a struggle to live this way but we feel that it is worth it. That said, I acknowledge that not all women want to do so and feel more comfortable working in industry than at home with the kids, my question is why? Because that's what they got from their schooling/socialization/indoctrination.

You are right Bull, lots of Parents are ticked off. It was all over Fox News last night and this morning. When I picked up my 9 yr old yesterday a lot of parents were gathered at the front talking about how their kids will not be at school on the 8th. Usually it seems like the moms are rocking the boat at school, but a majority of parents this time were dads.
Dumbo may get away with a lot of crap, but he better leave our kids a lone. Not a popular Usurper in this area.

Make note that on Twitter, & I think Facebook, there is a blossoming group of concerned parents grouped under the name P.A.S.S. Day. "Parentally Approved Skip School" Day.

So Obama’s words will flow into the classrooms of American next week, but the words of his progressive values have already preceded him and are well intrenched in the American educational system.
It's up to PARENTS to counteract the bullshit from a liberal public education...

My 3 kids are nothing but redneck Conservatives, patriots, Independent voters and detest the ways of the libbers and left...

They had some great examples set at home, and the public school indoctrination CAN be overcome...
