I shall never forget and I will also never forget who did this to us.

I wish only the best for everyone that lost a loved one in this attack.

For whatever it is worth, I have posted the tribute to Touri Hamzavi Bolourchi which I originally created in 2006 as a participant in Project 2996. If anyone is interested, it can be seen at http://www.anniemayhem.com/cgi-bin/wordpress/?p=1139

Thanks for your post. It’s interesting to note those in the media and politics who downplay this horrific memory. We can’t ever forget who our enemies are…foreign and domestic.

  12. That morning I was working as the Graveyard Communications Sergeant for my department, supervising all the dispatchers and comm clerks for my department’s command center. An officer called me on the S1 supervisors’ line and breathlessly told me to check out CNN immediately, then hung up. The center had four screens, but they were off that time of the morning. I dialed in the news. They were re-playing the first WTC strike time and again, with comments from various talking heads. Suddenly, the second tower was hit by an aircraft, live, as we all watched. I can remember, as clearly as an hour ago, my blurting out loud: “That’s no accident. Those are acts of war.”

  13. Sent a trackback to this post Fred, don’t know if it worked..

As always we are united in our desire to never forget that horrible day and remember those innocents that were murdered by these people that hate us and want nothing more than to commit more of these heinous acts against us, while we also pay tribute to those that made the ultimate the sacrifice for their fellow citizens as they tried to save them.. how others can forget is disgusting to me.

    God Bless you all..
