You hit on the biggest problem facing our troops over there, they are handcuffed by the ROE while the enemy is not. The enemy knows that the rules that the US soldiers have to fight by and they use them to their advantage. The enemy has adapted, while we refuse to do so. Such is life in this politically correct world I guess.

to grovel and then use ‘em. Then, bring our troopers home. A win/win situation no matter how you look at it.

We have brought into international modern day ROE and seem locked into fighting a protracted insurgent war that is impossible to win under those conditions even with another 100,000 men. The things we should have learned from Nam are being pushed aside by politics meanwhile the soldier in the field pays the price for what has to be call stupidity. The American people will not support this protracted conflict and many are already calling for retreat and the abandonment of that part of the world. Cheers will go up from Pakistan to Cario when we leave and the recruiting lines at the local terrorist recruiting offices will reach around the block. And the next target will be………….!

When did the idea that war is ‘civilized’ come about? Nothing civil about it, and yet, politicians keep tying the hands of the brave men and women who are quite capable of kicking serious muzzie butt, all in the name of pc. Pfft. Pull ALL the troops out, bomb the sh*t out of ‘em, then walk back in and ask, ever so politely of course, if they are ready to behave in a civilized manner. If not, then bomb the sh*t out of them again, and again, and again, until they get the message we are NOT the pussies that the POS in D.C. would like them to believe.

On the contrary Fred. We have learned lots but we can’t
put those lessons to work because as in vietnam, the g’dmnd
politicians are running the war again. This POS fraudulent muslim asswipe does’nt have a clue, and could care less if your daughter/son or mine gets killed. It might interrupt his golfing or playing basketball to actually bring his attention to that fact. He wants us to be defeated so the rest of the world can belittle us, especially like castro,chavez,amhadickhead, and that short little rat bastard in NK that’s starving his people, but still has money to make rockets and atomic bombs for testing. I wish McChrystal would give him a big FU and start kicking ass. It’d probably be done and over with by the time monkey ass got over there and started apologizing for our bad behavior.
