Fred, something significant about our leader bowing to the Japanese Emperor. You notice the little Japanese Emperor DID NOT bow to Obamba. Uncle Sam's face aside, age-old Japanese custom says, IN JAPAN EQUALS BOW TO EACH OTHER. He should have bowed to Obamba because Uncle Sam has protected the Japanese homeland from harm since WWII. I served in our Navy during the Korean "Conflict" and was in Japan while Japan was still an occupied country. They were still down but MacArthur was busy bringing in economists and industrialists to get them on their feet. MacArthur was immensely successful. Face is really important to the Japanese and Obamba's bow without the Emperor following suit was a heavy kick in American's crotch, by both Obamba AND the Emperor. Oh yes, our leader apologized to the Japanese, too. You know, us extremists just gotta have something to gripe about. Right?

I don't know who Sarah Steele is, guess I'll do a google search... LOL!!! Michelle and Carly are great examples of strong, Conservative women in my book.

Joe Arapio would be most interesting, indeed!!! :-) I was working for HItachi Data Systems when Carly was at the helm of HP, and I was in charge of managing quality standards for the HP products that HItachi made for them (disk array storage) and I was very impressed with their product standards and the direction Carly took them in. She earned her "golden parachute"... it's a shame that the Packard family didn't like her, as she was helping the company go from running in the red to record profits. I suspect the Packard's are a bunch of liberal loons. I think Babs better update her resume. :-)

I think I know what a real conservative is , however some may disagree. Conservativism is such a subjective term and open to many differing meanings. Small government and very limited spending and strong states rights are at the center of my conservative world. There are many more things on my list with most putting me to the right of Atilla The Hun so for now I'll avoid those. Vigilante, like you I think M. Bachmann will be a contender, but there is a lot I don't know about her. But again does anyone ever really know what a candidate will do before he or she gets into office. Often the best sounding candidate will fool us and do a 180 when in the Oval Office, making ones choice into a crap shoot at best. Sometimes I think flipping a coin may be the best way to decide, of couse I joke, but these guys certainly are well versed at fooling us.

HAM I agree with ya on Carly Fiorina. If it wasn't for her HP would be in the tank right now. She's got more business savvy in her little toe than boxer, fienstein, and pisslousi all put together, and she's a CONSERVATIVE!!!!

I also think she'd make a good chairperson for the GOP and throw steele out on his RINO ass. He's nothing more than a country clubber that wears striped suits and chews gum. They all should wear striped suits, the ones with the BIG black and white stripes.

Michelle Bachmann, Sarah Palin, Sarah Steele, and Carly Fiorina would be my picks for VP. Haven't really decided on the pres yet. I still think he is yet to come forward. (Joe Arapio) LOL Can you see HIM bowing to a muslim or japanese royalty??? The illegals wouldn't have to be rounded up, just get out of the way between them and mexico. LOL

We all need to "PRAY FOR OBAMA" >>> Psalms 109:8

Let his days be few; and let another take his place.

the same goes for RINO's now in office

I am proud to say, Mike Pence is my representative in the House and HE ROCKS when it comes to being a true blue Conservative and patriot. Michelle Bachmann ROCKS too. They both fight for what is right and good for America. And yes, I like Huck too. I will also say that I heard Alan Keyes in Ft. Wayne, IN (Tax Day Tea Party) and there is no one who knows the Constitution better IMHO. If the RNC drops the ball again, I will go 3rd party and get out an pound the pavement for a 3rd party candidate.

Fred, all your assessments I am in total agreement with. Bobby Jindal will be a great one once Louisiana is on the right path. The idea is, get the RINO's out of the party. I don't think Steele is the one to set out the right values and conservative direction.

Something on the horizon in 2010 that I'm excited about... Carly Fiorina (former HP CEO with a very successful track record, a solid conservative, a very tough, self-made woman) has thrown her hat in the ring to run against Boxer!!!! I was elated. I have looked up to this woman for years, and I think ole Babs is on her way out!!! Fiorina is a pitbull with a lot of savvy!!! I was so excited!!! I didn't know that she has been fighting breast cancer, but she looks strong and ready to fight for America. I know I'll be praying for her success!!!!

Yep the list is very short on the ones I like and trust....but we still have a ways to go for those out there to show their stuff.

I do like Bobby Jindal....he has really turned that state around. I have kin in Louisana and they are going nuts over what this guy has done for their state. I agree that he may not be quite ready yet for the big office....but I would jump on him as a choice for VP. That would give him the needed background to be POTUS and carry us well into the future and out of this mess we are in right now.

I don't know much about Michelle Bachmann yet...but you can bet I will be looking up any and all info I can find.

Palin was a flash in the pan...but no one likes a quitter...so she is out of it in my book.
It's early...but it's time for some candles to be lit, so that star will shine when the time comes.
RINO's need to get the hell out of Dodge, because the REAL Conservatives will be gunning for them and kill any chance they have of getting re-elected. ...or at least that is what I HOPE they do.

The GOP needs to go completly conservative or it will go defunct. A little bit of this and a little bit of that won't cut it any more. The majority of folks want govt to follow the constitution and return to traditional values.
