I find it funny that normal everyday working people can see that he is nothing but a fraud yet, the Democrats act like he is the best thing since sliced bread. Nancy Pelosi and her fake smile makes me want to puke every time I see her face. Obama did nothing but push those that oppose him farther away. I find it funny that it looked more like an “Exercise Infomercial” than an “Official Speech” by the POTUS. I was actually waiting to see Richard Simmons running around getting the old people “Sweatin to the Oldies”. I can’t remember much of the BS he said but I do know that I was not impressed.

Oh and Fred the comment about Walter and Biden, is an insult to Walter. Very good as usual Fred.

All Obama knows is to lie and spend—high speed rail system in FL. Free tution if you work for the government for 10 years aftet graduating from college–hell after 10 years of government work who would want to leave that cushy job. Obama is constantly looking for more ways to draw people into the web he is spinning—I should add he not too bad at it.

Obama firing down on SCOTUS was totally out of line. I have never thought however, that members of the court and the Chiefs should be at these events—thats another thing.

All in all the speech landed about where I expected. Obama did not move to the center as some thought. He will go down with the ship or take us all to hell!

1 hr after the SOTU speech, he asked for $15 p/mo from us.

That Biden picture is just too damned funny. As I was slowly scrolling down – I saw his picture and the first thought that came through my mind was – “Wow, looks an awful lot like Walter” and then when I scrolled the rest of the way down and saw your Walter comparison I just about spit out my soda.

I could only watch that SOTU speech in little parts – I was getting just too damned frustrated with the “more of me” and “more of big government” bullshit he was pushing on us. He apparently hasn’t gotten the message we are fed up with him and we don’t want more of either him or government. He’s delusional.

OK txhillcountry, the Governor of Virginia put on a weak-assed, multi-cultural dog and pony show that FULLY represents the sexual and racial diversity of HIS *BIG TENT* GOP beliefs and one that further serves in an attempt by Virginia officials to dispel the fears of accusations of racism that some still believe exists within the GOP, especially in the South…

“McDonnell was flanked by an Asian male and a Black female. Yes Sir, that’s getting the message across. Nothing subliminal about that!

The reason that the GOP is the wreck it is right now is because of this *BIG TENT* mentality. I, for one, am damned tired of the GOP being a *BIG TENT*, and nothing more than Dem Lite!”

Fred this was addressed by Hot Air in this mornings blog; the black female is Lisa Hick-Thomas, Virginia’s Secretary of Administration, while the asian is Jim Cheng, Secretary of Commerce and Trade. The female on the lower right is Janet Polarek, Secretary of the Commonwealth. The gentleman on the lower left is Staff Sergeant Robert Tenpenny, who served with McDonnell’s daughter Jeannie in Iraq.

While not as forceful as perhaps we would have liked it to be some good things were addressed by McDonnell:

“Good government policy should spur economic growth, and strengthen the private sector’s ability to create new jobs. We must enact policies that promote entrepreneurship and innovation, so America can better compete with the world. What government should not do is pile on more taxation, regulation, and litigation that kill jobs and hurt the middle class.”

“Over-regulating employers won’t create more employment; overtaxing investors won’t foster more investment.

“Top-down one-size fits all decision making should not replace the personal choices of free people in a free market, nor undermine the proper role of state and local governments in our system of federalism. As our Founders clearly stated, and we Governors understand, government closest to the people governs best.”
