<i>"If you want a hard as nails warrior, business person that has the ability to deal with world leaders on a level playing field, Palin is one of the worst choices that I have ever seen.. </i>

This is exactly who Carly Fiorina is, and I hope she whips the heck out of Babs Boxer!!! I have admired Carly for years.

Patrick, I think there is great credence in what you say and I would agree, but... it is the left wing that has been so effective with making people's "past" the number one character assassination tactic used. That would make one with a less than perfect past, think twice, no matter how successful they have been at turning their lives around. That is one of the characteristics of the Democrat Party that caused me to turn to the Conservative view.

The RINOs hope that pandering to the Tea Partiers will garner votes. Indeed, the RINOs will try harder and harder to co-opt the Tea Party Movement.

I hope that the GOP has the smarts to toss out the RINOs, but I admit to having my doubts that the GOP will take a principled stand. We have a dearth of statesmen in both of our major political parties.

Well, In my opinion, Sarah Palin was the best candidate on the list at the ballot box. Bob Barr had kinks in the armor too. IF not, he's be a political force now. That just shows how weak the field was at the time. Nuff said about that.

The thing we have on our side is TIME now, we have another year to sort out RINO from Conservative, progressive Republican from Republican...I suggest everyone take the time to research the candidates they like, and those they dislike in this time. Use the time wisely and quit bestowing presidential aspirations on anyone that drives a truck or killed a moose...

IF we keep pushing the value of Palin or McCain over the worse POTUS ever Obama, we do all of us a disservice. We deserve better than ALL of them three combined and there are some out there that would be heads and tales above them....

I have never understood what is was that ANYONE saw in Palin as far as her being some great political persona...

She's a hunter, OK, that's good. She's not bad looking, that's good too. She QUIT as Governor, and the reasons be damned, SHE QUIT! Not good at all.

She's as shallow as shallow can be, not anywhere near good.

If ya need a MILF in a cheerleader suit, she's probably the one you want. If you want a hard as nails warrior, business person that has the ability to deal with world leaders on a level playing field, Palin is one of the worst choices that I have ever seen..

I didn't vote for McCain/Palin, I voted for Bob Barr and Wayne Allyn Root, and before ANYONE starts that BS about a vote for Obama, DON'T GO THERE...

McCain could have had every 3rd party vote cast and Obama still would have won regardless, the numbers DO NOT LIE...

Obama/Biden 365 McCain/Palin 173

If the GOP wants to take back the White House, if Republicans want to get elected, they had better court the hell out of REAL Conservatives and not put up some lame-ass POS like John McCain or an airhead like Sarah Palin...

Otherwise, we will have Barack Hussein Obama AGAIN and that my friends will be the end of America!

I've been a supporter of Palin, but after watching her "analysis" on Fox, I'm a little disappointed in her. She certainly is not very deep in some of her answers to questions.

I have an "answer" to the over infestation of Rino's. It's Boss & Sons 470 NE...
Aside from all that? Vote them out. Run for office yourselves! And screw political correctness! Get the message out. So what if you have a graveyard full of skeletons?

How many people are there out there anymore that have unblemished credit, or a misdemeanor or two? Who frikn' cares if they have the right set of values now?

I for one would sooner vote for a felon that cleaned up his / her act before I would a RINO! If they were of a mind like the folks here are anyways!

I am always very suspicious of so-called conservatives from blue states. A blue state conservative and a red state conservative can be totally different animals. I have little use for those who hide behind a conservative mask while running for office only to toss it aside when the election is over and join the good of boys in congress who care little about the folks back home because they are more in tune with the special interest groups who wine and dine them and are constantly whispering sweet nothings in their ears.

At this point in time the Tea Party movement seems to be held together by several central issues---fiscal conservatism and national defense. Social issues have taken a back seat. These issues alone may be enough this fall to get many candidates over the hump---I don't know. I also expect the immigration issue will play a big part in this years contest and believe that most in the Tea Parties favor very strict immigration reforms with much more border enforcement. Of course, we all know where McCain and many RINO's stand on this issue. This issue alone may doom McCain's primary election in Arizona and assure J.D. Hayworth getting the nomination. The people of Arizona will then have a clear cut choice in November---this is always good. Great post by AWD.

Love that picture. Funny thing is McCain, Pawlenty, Palin all think that "They know the will of the people" and that the "Dem's are out of touch" No guys, Y'all are out of touch and about to be unemployed. Which could be a problem...

IF McCain is unemployed, can he still beat his wife with his good arm?

Since UNEMPLOYMENT leads to spousal abuse I worry about John McCain, how can he possibly affect a good and proper ass whooping with one arm?...Damn the problems he faces ahead...

The RINOS are in for a rude awakening come the 2010 elections. They need to start updating their resumes.
