As much as it pains me to agree with this, you’re right.
A nation makes laws for the people to follow, if they don’t there is consequences.
No matter how ridiculous we think their laws are, they are THEIRS.

Maybe if America actually enforced the laws the ILLEGAL Immigration issue would be non existent.

I think the thing is stupid too but it’s their country and their laws. For some reason we have this mentality that every country in the world either wants to be like us or needs to be like us.

Back in the early 80′s when I was deployed for Operation Elf One in Saudi Arabia, the AWACS guys adopted a goat for a mascot and made a Saudi line badge for him. Apparently this line badge had the symbol of the King or Royal Family, or something and when one of the Saudi guards happened to see it, the shit hit the fan. Nobody got arrested but we did hear the goat was taken away and killed. When in a Muslim country, you follow its laws. That’s when I realized I would rather be a poor American than a rich Arab.

You know, it’s too bad our government would stand up for the symbols of our nation when foreigners come here and desecrate our flag and refuse to follow our laws.
