It's the rift, the outside is drifting in.
Better get Torchwood, because the 21st century is when everything changes.

1. Thinning the herd.
2. More oxygen for me to breathe.

That's as seriously as I take it.

Yep, it's always too easy to blame some sort of media. I feel sorry for the parents, etc. , but if it was the Net, or the rock music, then we'd all be doin' it.

It sounds like a sci-fi movie at first glance. One of those low budget things, with actors you've never heard of and probably won't hear of again, unless they happen to survive and show up in sequels. There are weak minded people everywhere, gullible, easily led astray, with no foundations. The internet is just a new way to reach and influence them.

I understand where you stand on this one, and I agree as well.

In another cyberworld, I mod on a website for sexually, physically, and mentally abused women. As a survivor of abuse, I am supportive of the needs of these women. I don't, however, have a high tolerance for those who use these boards as "poor pitiful Pearl" posts. The site I am on does not even allow suicide posts. But there are those who will seek sympathy instead of self-help. And often these people find that it is easier to take the path of least resistance and spend their lives waiting for salvation from someone else or take the ultimate fool's (or coward's) way out. Sad, maybe, but this is not a new phenomenon just one that is now shared globally instead of locally.

There are two types of people in this world: survivors or victims. We all have our story; we all make our choice to be one or the other. I have my story, but I have heard even worse. Those things that we do not allow to kill us, will only make us stronger.
