Sheriff: Mexican Cartels Control Parts of Arizona

The federal government has posted signs along a major interstate highway in Arizona, more than 100 miles north of the U.S.-Mexico border, warning travelers the area is unsafe because of drug and alien smugglers, and a local sheriff says Mexican drug cartels now control some parts of the state

The signs were posted by the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) along a 60-mile stretch of Interstate 8 between Casa Grande and Gila Bend, a major east-west corridor linking Tucson and Phoenix with San Diego.

They warn travelers that they are entering an “active drug and human smuggling area” and they may encounter “armed criminals and smuggling vehicles traveling at high rates of speed.” Beginning less than 50 miles south of Phoenix, the signs encourage travelers to “use public lands north of Interstate 8″ and to call 911 if they “see suspicious activity.”

Pinal County Sheriff Paul Babeu, whose county lies at the center of major drug and alien smuggling routes to Phoenix and cities east and west, attests to the violence. He said his deputies are outmanned and outgunned by drug traffickers in the rough-hewn desert stretches of his own county.

Do you know and understand what an invasion is?

invasion – noun
1. an act or instance of invading or entering as an enemy, esp. by an army.
2. the entrance or advent of anything troublesome or harmful, as disease.
3. entrance as if to take possession or overrun: the annual invasion of the resort by tourists.
4. infringement by intrusion

What’s happening along the U.S. border with Mexico is well defined by all parts of that definition except for one part, #3, they aren’t tourists and this isn’t a resort. Well, on 2nd thought, for them it may well BE a resort.

Now, does anyone know what it means to be a sovereign nation? Do you know the definition of sovereignty?

sovereignty – noun, plural -ties.
1. the quality or state of being sovereign.
2. the status, dominion, power, or authority of a sovereign; royalty.
3. supreme and independent power or authority in government as possessed or claimed by a state or community.
4. rightful status, independence, or prerogative.
5. a sovereign state, community, or political unit.

The act of invasion is an ACT OF WAR against a sovereign nation. These Mexican cartels have, and are currently engaged in, Acts of WAR against the United States of America.

“Mexican drug cartels literally do control parts of Arizona,” he said. “They literally have scouts on the high points in the mountains and in the hills and they literally control movement. They have radios, they have optics, they have night-vision goggles as good as anything law enforcement has.

“This is going on here in Arizona,” he said. “This is 70 to 80 miles from the border – 30 miles from the fifth-largest city in the United States.”

So, what does the U.S. government, the entity that is supposed to react to, and in turn repel foreign invaders do?

He said he asked the Obama administration for 3,000 National Guard soldiers to patrol the border, but what he got were 15 signs.

15 signs? That’s it. 15 signs, and a handful of National Guard troops that aren’t allowed to go on a search and destroy mission. Oh hell no, all they can do is watch and look and call in the U.S. Border Patrol if the see any ILLEGAL activity.

That my friends, is exactly how the President of the United States, Barack Hussein Obama goes about defending the sovereignty of this United States and protecting our SOVEREIGN nation!

Arizona Gov. Jan Brewer condemned what she called the federal government’s “continued failure to secure our international border,” saying the lack of security has resulted in important natural recreational areas in her state being declared too dangerous to visit.

Gov. Brewer, it’s not just Arizona. It’s not just some ‘natural recreation areas’. It’s the heart and soul of this nation that is being attacked, and over-run by these invading hordes.

And the powers that be (federal) won’t even sprinkle a few drops of water on the fire!

BLM spokesman Dennis Godfrey in Arizona said agency officials were surprised by the reaction the signs generated when they were put up this summer.

“We were perhaps naive in setting the signs up,” he said. “The intention of the signs was to make the public aware that there is potential illegal activity here. But it was interpreted in a different light, and that was not the intent at all.”

He said there should be “no sense that we have ceded the land,” adding that no BLM lands in Arizona are closed to the public.

“I kind of liken it to if I were visiting a city I were not familiar with and asked a policeman if it were safe to go in a particular area,” Mr. Godfrey said.

I submit this opinion to my readers; Dennis Godfrey is an Obamabot and a MORON!

But he does bring up an excellent point. IF there is a section of a U.S. city, any city, that is unsafe for visitors to traverse, WHY hasn’t that section of city been fully pacified and the ‘dangerous‘ cretins that are making it unsafe removed? By any means necessary?

Ladies and Gentlemen, this nation is under siege. It is quite obvious that the federal government is going to do nothing about it. It is also apparent that state and local governments are not going to do too much to secure their cites and states from these invaders and criminals either.

What is even more apparent, and more disturbing is this; when a state DOES attempt to secure itself from the invasion, when that state passes laws and attempts to remove the ILLEGALS and drug cartels that are the truly the heart of the problem, they themselves face prosecution from the likes of Attorney General Eric Holder at the behest of his master, Barack Hussein Obama.

The invasion of this nation didn’t start with Obama, but it has increased exponentially under his watch, yet he has done even less to stop the invasion of our nation than any of his predecessors.

Border security, and the part about sections of Arizona being controlled by cartels is a matter that the U.S. government must address, and address mightily. This is NOT a time for weak responses, or the prosecution of states like Arizona and patriots like Sheriff Joe Arpaio and Sheriff Paul Babeu.

The biggest question Americans need to ask their elected officials is this; ‘What, exactly, are you going to do about the acts of war being committed against this nation?’

If the answer is less than satisfactory, if they say, ‘Nothing at all’, the next question should be ‘Where do you plan on hiding out after the next election?’ Because they certainly need to be removed from public office!

If the elected officials of this nation are too gutless, too PC, too afraid of offending the enemy to stand up and defend this nation, it’s time to remove them ALL and put PATRIOTS in place that WILL fight for America, and rid Her of this cancer that is rapidly causing Her death!

ANCHORAGE — Senator Lisa Murkowski of Alaska conceded late Tuesday in her Republican primary race against Joe Miller, a lawyer from Fairbanks who was backed by Tea Party activists, Sarah Palin and other conservatives.

Mr. Miller shocked the political establishment here and in Washington last week when he emerged with a narrow lead, 1,668 votes, after the primary vote, on Aug. 24. His victory makes him the presumed favorite to win the Senate seat from this heavily Republican state.

Mr. Miller, who has proposed drastic cuts in federal spending, had trailed badly in local polls in the weeks before the election but benefited from a last-minute flood of advertisements, mailings and automated calls casting Ms. Murkowski as a Democrat in disguise. An abortion-related ballot measure also brought conservatives to the polls.

Congratulations to Joe Miller on his win over Lisa Murkowski. I hope you win the Alaska Senate seat and can keep Alaska on a Conservative track.

I also hope that you aren’t like some of the other so-called Conservatives touted by Sarah Palin, John McCain (R)INO being foremost in my mind. And lets not forget the fact that she supported Scott Brown (R)INO too, and is now feuding with him. SOURCE

WEST ALLIS, Wis. — Senator Russ Feingold says he should not be considered the front-runner in his bid for a fourth term. If that self-appraisal is true, Democrats face a greater risk of losing their majority in the Senate than they believed when summer began.

“Frankly, I love being the underdog,” Mr. Feingold said. “Let me have it.”

As the senator talks to voters across Wisconsin, that description is perhaps an exaggeration for an incumbent with a national reputation, but it has become a central part of his pitch. He is not eager to concede that control of the Senate could hinge on his seat — though it very well could — but he hopes the warning cry will prompt his loyal Democratic followers to rally to his side in a challenging election year.

There’s only one way to say this, and quite likely I WILL anger someone in Wisconsin by saying it, BUT, if you folks re-elect Russ Feingold, SHAME ON YOU! You’re no better than Feingold’s ally in Arizona, John McCain (R)INO and the people that keep send him back year after year!

Remember this Wisconsin, you get the government you elect. You would think that Wisconsin would take a lesson from a certain bimbo named Peggy West and the disgusting debacle looking for a place to happen that SHE is! SOURCE

CHICAGO — Minnesota Governor Tim Pawlenty directed state agencies on Tuesday to decline all discretionary participation in federal healthcare reform, throwing up roadblocks to President Barack Obama’s goal of providing health insurance to all Americans.

“Obamacare is an intrusion by the federal government into personal health care matters and it’s an explosion of federal spending that does nothing to make healthcare more affordable,” the Republican governor said in a statement.

Since Obama signed the landmark reforms into law in March nearly half of the states have mounted a fight against it.

The more I hear about Tim Pawlenty, the more I am liking this guy. Pawlenty may not be the one the RNC chooses in 2012, they do seem to have a way of picking the most unelectable ticket of late, but I am seriously starting to think that Pawlenty really has a lot going on for him and may well be a great choice for America!

Carl P. Paladino, nearly an hour and a half late, rushed into a chandeliered room in the Bronx the other day to tell Hispanic religious leaders why they should elect him governor. The scrambled eggs had turned cold, and so had the room.

“Hipócrita,” one minister whispered. Another passed around newspaper articles with the words “bigot” and “anti-immigrant” underlined.

“The paper says that you hate all Hispanics,” State Senator Rubén Díaz Sr. of the Bronx told Mr. Paladino. “The paper says you want to put us in jail.”

Governor Race

The paper says…

You can’t believe everything you read in the papers. You can’t believe everything you read in some s0-called conservative blogs that are written by former flaming libbers that claim to have had a conversion to the right. But if this piece from the NYT is even close to correct, I don’t see Paladino as a racist or a hater.

I see him as someone that is probably against ILLEGAL immigration.

Maybe not to the point of being as against it as I am, but against it none the less. Of course, that gives the faux conservatives and libbers among us all the reason they need to scream RACIST.

Someone has got to put this nation back on a level field of play. ILLEGAL immigration and those that are here ILLEGALLY are killing America! But the bleeding hearts among us want to grant them amnesty and make them citizens of the USA. That will only make things worse I fear.

I believe that if we ever grant blanket amnesty, the floodgates will be thrown fully open, and the USA will truly become a 3rd world dung heap called Aztlan!

President Barack Obama is refusing to meet Gov. Rick Perry (R.-Tx.) during his scheduled visit to Fort Bliss, Texas on Tuesday, as disclosed by the governor’s spokeswoman.

The Houston Chronicle reports that, “Perry spokewoman Katherine Cessinger says the Republican governor had asked to meet with the president on Tuesday to discuss border security. Cessinger said Monday that White House aides said the president would not be available for such a meeting.”

On Monday evening, the White House would not immediately respond to a request for comment.

During a presidential visit on August 9 in Austin, Texas, Gov. Perry was one of the first people to greet the commander-in-chief when he stepped from Air Force One. Yet, Bill White, the Democratic nominee for the 2010 Texas gubernatorial race, declined invitations to meet Obama that day in both Austin and Dallas.

At the Austin greeting, Gov. Perry delivered a letter to Obama’s adviser Valerie Jarret, explaining the ‘dire threat’ from drug violence along the U.S.-Mexico border.

That said;

Talk about hypocrisy! Gov. Rick Perry gives new definition to the word.

Gov. Rick Perry refuses to even attend an event where Mayor Bill White is present because, according to Perry staffers;

Bill White refuses to release the documents that contain this financial information. Bill White refuses to release his taxes from 1993-1998, years he held public service positions that required him by law to complete annual personal financial disclosures. While Bill White was Deputy Secretary of Energy (1993-95) and Chairman of the Texas Democratic Party (1995-98), he was required by law to complete annual personal financial disclosures which have not all been made public to the people of Texas.

As a result we will not be participating. SOURCE

That is utter hypocrisy on the part of Gov. Perry and his staff, and what I believe to be a blatant display of childish behavior.

Gov. Perry tries to see Barack Hussein Obama at ANY opportunity. Obama has a lot of very questionable documents that HE hasn’t released.

I am well aware of the fact that NO candidate is perfect, none of them are going to be all things to all people, but if there is a violation of campaign law in play here, why is it not being addressed on a broad scale? Why play childish games regarding your opponent?

Politics is just like WAR, if you’re not fully prepared to take it to the limits, and then some, you’re in the wrong business.

I don’t want anyone to think that this post is being made to endorse or to damn any candidate either. I am merely presenting the facts, and needed information, in hopes that Texas voters can, and will make an educated vote and not just go in and pull the lever for an (R), (D) or (L).

All candidates have their good points, their talking points, but lately, all I hear from the Perry camp is what a bad person Bill White is because he (White) hasn’t released some records, as required by law.

The Perry campaign IS making accusations saying that Bill White is breaking the law. The Perry campaign IS sending out emails stating such, but as yet, I have seen only the statements made by the Perry campaign.

I haven’t seen them post any citation regarding that violation.

Must be a pretty weak law if Bill White has risen this far in the Texas Governors campaign, and is, in the opinion of the Perry campaign, breaking that law.

Again I say, ALL candidates have some great points to make. This is one for Bill White;

AUSTIN, Texas — Democratic gubernatorial candidate Bill White said Tuesday that Texas needs to limit the governorship to two four-year terms.

White is trying to unseat Republican Gov. Rick Perry, who’s seeking an unprecedented third full four-year term in the Nov. 2 election.

White, the former Houston mayor, said in a statement there should be a voter referendum on term limits. His spokeswoman said he favors a proposed constitutional amendment that would have to be approved by voters. SOURCE

On this particular point I am 100% in agreement with White. Term limits for all elected officials should be the law of the land. A Governorship, a Senate or Congressional seat, and even though they are not elected, a seat on The Supreme Court itself should be held with TERM LIMITS in place.

Politics was NOT meant to be a lifetime career. Some politicians don’t see it that way.

The public deserves to know from Rick Perry, not some spokesperson, whether he supports or opposes term limits for governor, and whether he supports letting voters decide. Texas Tribune

There’s a lot of things that voters want to hear from our candidates, the TRUTH being first and foremost.
I have never been a huge fan of Texas Gov. Rick Perry. I have long believed that he is a talker and not a doer. I also believe Perry to be nothing more than a pandering RINO.

That said, in my capacity with the TEA Party I have been contacting as many Dallas County and Texas candidates as possible trying to get them to attend The Rowlett TEA Party Candidates Forum. A non-partisan event that is planned for Sept. 25th here in Rowlett.

I sent at least 2 invitations to the Rick Perry campaign, and to Mr. Dwayne Horner.

Horner is Regional Field Director – Greater Dallas – Texans for Rick Perry, and this morning Mr. Horner sent me an email;

Fred, we met at the Rowlett event one Saturday evening and I gave you a business card and asked to receive the information regarding this event – but to this date have yet to receive anything. I do not know whom you contacted with the campaign – but I never received an email with details about this event for us to deliver a “response.”

Well Dwayne, I contacted you, that is how I had your email address to include you on the email to ALL candidates and their campaigns.

Perhaps it was missed in the rush, no big deal, now we are on the same page and in touch.

Kathie Glass has confirmed her attendance and Bill White has told Mayor John Harper that he WILL be here too, I just haven’t heard from him personally yet.
I hope you can arrange for Gov. Perry to attend, I think it would be a wise move on his part.

OK… Because Bill White won’t play by *the rules*, you won’t play at all… Interesting…

This isn’t a debate Dwayne, it’s a forum for candidates to get their message out to VOTERS, and there’s a lot of VOTERS going to be there, but, if that’s your decision, that’s your decision…

Thank you for your time Sir, I will list Gov. Perry as a Declined to Attend…

I never got a response from Mr. Horner to that last email.

Here’s my biggest gripe; so, Bill White didn’t release certain records that, according to Horner, he is required by law to release?

If that’s the case, how in the hell is Bill White running a campaign for Governor at this late stage of the game and why in the hell hasn’t Perry and his entire staff, including, but not limited to the entire Texas and U.S. GOP making a HUGE issue of this is court of law?

WHY has White been allowed to get to this point in the election if he is in violation of the law?

Today is Day 171 of liberal trial lawyer Bill White refusing to debate. He also continues to refuse to release his taxes from his years in public service.

How is Bill White “refusing to debate?” I suppose the Perry camp would say, well, we said we wouldn’t debate unless he releases his taxes. So White is “refusing” to debate by not releasing all his tax returns. How does that make sense? Of course, as any campaign neophyte would know, White should have just released all his tax returns. He handed the Perry campaign a talking point. SOURCE

Again I say, STOP THE DAMNED POLITICAL GAMES! If the records are supposed to be released, FINE, they need to be released or White needs to be removed from the race for Texas Governor. It’s that simple.

I hate criminals, of ANY ilk! I have a special hatred for those criminals that break the public trust. IF,and I do say IF Bill White has done that, if he’s broken the law, PROSECUTE him! If you don’t have enough to prosecute him, shut up and run a race for the statehouse that doesn’t sound like a battle on the playground.

‘Mommy, those mean kids won’t do it MY way, so, I’m not going to play anymore.‘

But Rick Perry, or, maybe it’s just his staff, in any case, they sit back and whine like a little kids, pouting and telling people that because White won’t release his record “As a result we will not be participating.” in The Rowlett Candidates Forum, and apparently won’t even attend an event where Bill White is present.

That’s some confidence inspiring and vote garnering behavior there Governor…
By Alan Caruba

Not only did a lot of people show up at the Lincoln Memorial and around the reflecting pool on Saturday, the anniversary of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr’s famed “I have a dream speech”, but the mainstream media drew criticism for reporting the obvious. They were mostly white.

Maybe I just wasn’t paying attention in the weeks leading up to the event, but I assumed Glenn Beck was going to use the platform to call attention to the key issues with which the nation is struggling and which will influence the outcome of the forthcoming November midterm elections. Obviously I was wrong.

I have been to an evangelical tent meeting. I actually met the late Oral Roberts long ago in Columbus, Georgia where he invited me to attend. I can still recall the fervor of that evening and I was reminded of it while watching Beck.

There was a lot of talk of God, but I don’t recall that Dr. King, a preacher of astonishing power, was preaching Christ Jesus that day forty-seven years ago. King focused on the problem that had been troubling the soul of America since the days of the Revolution, the days of the Civil War, the Reconstruction, and the hundred years that had passed since then.

I knew what Dr. King was talking about. I had spent enough years in the South to know what it was like to see Whites Only drinking fountains, a separate room at the bus station where blacks had to wait, and all the other wretched reminders of Jim Crow. In time I even met Dr. King after he gave a speech at Drew University in New Jersey.

I was covering the event as a freelance journalist for a black newspaper and Dr. King was greatly amused that the newspaper didn’t mind a bit that a white reporter would write the story. Being cheeky, I told him that greenbacks can be spent by white and black alike. He laughed, we shook hands, and he moved into history.

I am sure that Glenn Beck is sincere about his faith, but I can understand why even a charlatan like Rev. Al Sharpton was unhappy that the day and the place had been usurped by a wannabe preacher who was a television personality.

To be candid, I have a real problem when I occasionally and briefly watch Glenn Beck when he does his show each evening on Fox News. I know he has a huge following and I know he has exposed a lot of bad people in high office, but I cannot muster the same confidence I do when others address the same topics. Veering back and forth between outrage and tears, I find him creepy.

I think the Beck-a-Palooza that took place on Saturday will fade quickly from public memory and I think it should. Despite the call to “restore honor” and even despite the call to remember the sacrifices of “the greatest generation” and all who followed the nation’s flag in Korea, in Vietnam, in Iraq and in Afghanistan, I don’t really think it was about them at all.

I think it was about Glenn Beck. And that’s a shame.

© Alan Caruba, 2010

SOURCE: The Great Glenn Beck-a-Palooza

And all this time I thought it was just me.

The mystique of Glenn Beck, and well as that of Sarah Palin, has always escaped me entirely, I too find Beck a bit creepy!

Personally, I believe that Glenn Beck is nothing more than a somewhat talented shill, a puppet dancing on a string. One pulled by powers a lot higher than himself.

I don’t believe Glenn Beck is that smart.

I think he has a good delivery but I believe he has a ton of people doing the work while he does the *talking head* routine.

I too have been exposed to far too many Evangelical preachers, holy rollers if you will, and THAT is the feeling I get when I see Glenn Beck in his fits of anger, goofiness and tears.

What I saw here was a *Come to Jesus* meeting. That’s just MY opinion.

This was, again, in MY opinion, just an updated version of the great Neil Diamond singing his song about Brother Love’s Traveling Salvation Show.

Maybe it is sincere, maybe it’s not. Maybe he should get an Emmy, best supporting actor in a News format or comedy/drama!

Who am I to judge?

Longtime Dallas congresswoman Eddie Bernice Johnson has awarded thousands of dollars in college scholarships to four relatives and a top aide’s two children since 2005, using foundation funds set aside for black lawmakers’ causes.

The recipients were ineligible under anti-nepotism rules of the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation, which provided the money. And all of the awards violated a foundation requirement that scholarship winners live or study in a caucus member’s district.

Johnson, a Democrat, denied any favoritism when asked about the scholarships last week. Two days later, she acknowledged in a statement released by her office that she had violated the rules but said she had done so “unknowingly” and would work with the foundation to “rectify the financial situation.”

Initially, she said, “I recognized the names when I saw them. And I knew that they had a need just like any other kid that would apply for one.” Had there been more “very worthy applicants in my district,” she added, “then I probably wouldn’t have given it” to the relatives.

I don’t like Eddie Bernice Johnson, and I know there are a few that are going to say, “Well that’s because TexasFred is a racist and a bigot.” Nothing could be further from the truth.

I don’t like crooked politics and I despise crooked politicians. That is the truth of the matter.

I have hammered about crooked politicians, and accusations against politicians, even politicians I happen to personally like. I don’t cut them ANY slack!

I even weighed in on a gentleman that I have known for a long time and recently got to meet in person, and happen to actually like, Rep. Joe Driver (TX-113); State Rep.
I talked with Joe Driver by phone on Thursday morning. He called regarding The Rowlett TEA Party Candidates Forum that we are sponsoring on Sept. 25th, and in talking I told him, straight up, how I feel about these accusations that have been leveled against him, and I referenced back to the Tom DeLay campaign finance investigation and the words I said to and about Mr. DeLay.

I told Tom DeLay this; “If they can prove you guilty of intentional misdeeds, you need to be punished to the fullest extent of the law. If they can’t prove you guilty, they need to leave you the hell alone and let you get on with your life.”

Joe Driver took those words in the spirit in which they were meant. Mr. Driver may have made a mistake, but he is a man of principle. Joe Driver even agreed with that take on matters and the prosecution of crimes.

Apparently, Mr. DeLay didn’t.

A while back DeLay had a link to my blog on his page. It seems they really liked my no nonsense approach and highly un-PC way of getting to the heart of the matter. Until it came to speaking out about Mr. DeLay himself. After I said those words to Mr. DeLay, they dropped the link to my blog and banned me from their site.

I guess the truth hurts sometimes.

As I said to Mr. DeLay and Mr. Driver, I say again to Eddie Bernice Johnson, Charles Rangel, Maxine Waters, and any other person that’s in public office, “If they can prove you guilty of intentional misdeeds, you need to be punished to the fullest extent of the law. If they can’t prove you guilty, they need to leave you the hell alone and let you get on with your life.”

I don’t care what color they are, I don’t care which political party they belong to, if they are, in fact, crooks, take them OUT and make graphic examples of them and highly publicize their punishment.

Anyone can make a mistake, but an elected official that intentionally breaks the public trust is, in MY not so humble opinion, the lowest form of humanity on the face of the earth!

And there’s one other thing I feel I MUST address here, the very top paragraph of the original story, which says;

Longtime Dallas congresswoman Eddie Bernice Johnson has awarded thousands of dollars in college scholarships to four relatives and a top aide’s two children since 2005, using foundation funds set aside for black lawmakers’ causes.

Johnson used foundation funds that were set aside for black lawmakers’ causes?

What would a WHITE lawmaker be called if there was indeed a fund set up specifically for WHITE lawmaker causes?

Let me think a minute… Hmmm

You have the United Negro College Fund, Hispanic History Month, Martin Luther King Day, Asian History Month, Black Entertainment Television, Black History Month, Cesar Chavez Day, Kwanzaa and the NAACP.

If we had WET (White Entertainment Television), we’d be called racists.

If we had a White Pride Day, you would call us racists.

If we had a White History Month, we’d be called racist for that.

If we had any organization for Whites Only to ‘advance’ OUR lives, we’d certainly be branded as racists.

There is a Congressional Black Caucus. Why isn’t there a Congressional WHITE Caucus? Oh, that’s right, it would be RACIST!

There’s a Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and a Black Chamber of Commerce.

Then we have the Chamber of Commerce, not a White Chamber of Commerce, just The Chamber of Commerce.

If we had a college fund that only gave white students scholarships, you know we’d be called evil racists.

There are openly-proclaimed Black-Only Colleges in the US, yet if there were ‘White-Only Colleges’, why THAT would be a racist college.

In the Million-Man March, you believed that you were marching for your race and rights.

If we marched for our race and rights, you would call us redneck racists.

You are proud to be black, brown, yellow and red, and you’re not afraid to announce it.

But when we announce our white pride, yeah, you got it, we get called racists, NAZIs and a lot worse.

Why is it that only whites can be racists? And just WHO are the real racists?

Maybe Eddie Bernice Johnson, the NAACP, The Congressional Black Caucus, The Black Chamber and many more BLACK organizations can answer that one for us.

But I seriously doubt it.

Evidence of apparent voter registration irregularities are found in Harris County. Samples of incomplete, inaccurate, or false voter registrations were unveiled by Harris County Voter Registrar Leo Vasquez.

The questionable voter registration applications, collected by a group operating under the name of Houston Votes, included voters that were already registered, applications submitted by the same voters, and applications with incomplete or erroneous information. Harris County Tax Assessor-Collector Leo Vasquez says representatives of Houston Votes assured him that the problems would be corrected, but were not.

“This amounts to over 5-thousand deficient voter registration applications which have inundated our office. Based on this performance pattern, we will be terminating a number of individuals from this volunteer deputy program.”

He says the pattern of the erroneous voter applications is serious.

“We have evidence indicating violations of the Texas election code, falsified documents being submitted to this governmental office, and possible violations of federal election laws.”

Vasquez says he is referring the irregularities along with associated documentation for investigation and possible prosecution to the Texas Secretary of State and the Harris County District Attorney’s Office.

“It is my sincere hope that this episode will bring more attention to the general public about the importance of voter registration. Hopefully, this will also spur legislation on both the federal and state levels, to put more teeth into election fraud penalties.”

Story Here:
Voter Registration Fraud Uncovered

It appears that Houston, we have a problem, may be more than just a catch phrase once again.

I told a fellow blogger the other day, “We get a few things wrong here in Texas, but we get a lot more RIGHT.” Well, I wasn’t taking Houston, and Harris County corruption into account when I made that statement.

I know, there’s going to be some that say, “Fred, ALL areas have corruption.” and you’d be right in that assumption I believe. I’m originally from Louisiana. Louisiana Politics runs Chicago a close 2nd on ways to flaunt corruption, but I think Harris County may have some folks that are just as creative and just as crooked as Chicago and Louisiana combined..

Here’s why I say that.

Fire destroys all Harris County voting machines

Harris County Clerk Beverly Kaufman Friday morning said she is confident of timely, clean elections in November, even after a fire that destroyed the county’s entire inventory of 10,000 electronic voting machines.

Kaufman urged voters to cast their ballots early to help the county cope with a possible shortage of equipment on election day.

“Because I don’t expect to have 10,000 pieces to work with, no matter what we do, I’m sure that we’re going to be putting on a full court press urging people to vote early,” Kaufman said.

Kaufman said she expected that the fire in a county warehouse in the 600 block of Canino, in north Houston, has destroyed $30 million worth of equipment and caused $10 million more in damage to the building.

Kaufman hopes to cobble together a collection of voting machines through loans from other counties and replacement equipment from its vendor, she said. All five members of Commissioners Court contacted her Friday morning to pledge their support in helping her with the resources needed to stage a successful election in which early voting begins in just 52 days, she said.

Normally, I’m not one that goes for conspiracy theories, but c’mon. This is pure coincidence?

Here’s even more citation to the story.

A few days ago we blogged how the Houston voter registrar had a press conference announcing widespread voter fraud and thousands of illegal and phony voter registrations submitted by an ACORN-like organization called “Houston Votes.” Those stories are HERE and HERE.

Harris County Tax Assessor Collector [and voter registrar] Leo Vasquez accused the group of submitting thousands of bogus voter registration applications in recent months in what he said appears to be a campaign to taint the voter rolls.
Well this morning Mr. Vasquez’s warehouse containing all of the voting machines, supplies and equipment burned to the ground.

A note of caution: obviously law enforcement officials in Harris County will get to the bottom of this. We are posting this because, for now, Harris County is going to have a mess of an election in November because all of their equipment and supplies have been destroyed. SOURCE

I just hope the Harris County Fire Marshal is an honest guy. I hope he has his life insurance paid up too. Some folks will go to ANY extreme to influence an election it seems.

And if these clowns are anything like ACORN, care must be taken.

PUERTO VALLARTA, Mexico (AP) – Mexican authorities say at least 16 people have been injured by a grenade that exploded at a bar in the resort city of Puerto Vallarta.

Jalisco state prosecutors say five of the injured have been detained as part of the investigation. Four of those detained each lost a leg in the explosion before dawn Thursday.

Prosecutors say they are investigating whether one of the injured was carrying the grenade when it exploded.

Jalisco state has seen a wave of drug violence in recent months and the bloodshed has intensified since drug kingpin Ignacio “Nacho” Coronel was killed by soldiers earlier this month. Coronel, whose base was in Jalisco, was the No. 3 of the Sinaloa drug cartel.

Full Story Here:
Grenade explosion injures 16 at Mexican bar

There’s hardly a day that goes by that we don’t see another story of horrific violence in Mexico.

Headless bodies, with the heads found nearby. Shootouts between the cartels and the police. Shootouts between the cartels, with innocent victims caught in the crossfire. Birthday parties ravaged by machine-gun fire because someone at the party happens to be a rival cartel member, but hey, they kill everyone AT the party just to be safe.

Federales and police implicated as gang members. Mexico frees ex-state police director in drug case. And you know, maybe he’s not guilty, but what if he is? And what if cartel money bought off the judge? Or death threats by the cartels influenced the judge?

And these are just the things that we know about. Yet our borders are still wide open.

I think most any REAL Conservative has seen the light regarding border security and how to bring it about. I say REAL Conservative simply because there are still a few that are FAUX conservatives, and they cling deeply to their not so distant past as flaming libbers.

Truth be known, they still are flaming libbers but they find a more sympathetic audience in the trusting and gullible Conservatives that are willing to accept them at their word while overlooking the deeper intricacies of the FAUX conservative writings.

America is only one bright idea away from falling into this very same 3rd world dung heap mentality. There are those in America that have bleeding hearts for the Mexicans, they see not one thing wrong with the invasion we are suffering, or the financial strain this infestation brings on the rest of America.

Those sympathetic bleeding hearts castigate men and women that speak up and DEMAND that our sovereign borders be secured and this nation protected in ANY manner necessary.

As I said, they still cling to their libber turned RINO mindset. And then we see this;

Car bomb explodes in Mexico where 72 bodies found

SAN FERNANDO, Mexico (AP) – Two cars exploded early Friday, in front of the offices of a major Mexican television station and a transit police station, in a northern state where officials are investigating the massacre of 72 Central and South American migrants.

There were no injuries in either explosion, though both caused some damage to buildings and knocked out the signal of the Televisa network for several hours in Ciudad Victoria, the capital of the drug gang-plagued state of Tamaulipas. The explosion outside Televisa was felt for several blocks.

Soldiers were blocking access to the building, Televisa said.

The network described the explosion as a car bomb, but an official with the state attorney general’s office couldn’t confirm the type of explosions, just that two cars caught fire and blew up. The official was not authorized to speak publicly about the incidents.

If confirmed, it would mean a total of four car bombs in Mexico this year – a new and frightening tactic in the country’s escalating drug war.

The drug war; coming to a neighborhood near you, very soon!

WASHINGTON (AP) – A Republican civil war is raging, with righter-than-thou conservatives dominating ever more primaries in a fight for the party’s soul. And the Democrats hope to benefit.

The latest examples of conservative insurgents’ clout came Tuesday at opposite ends of the country. In Florida, political newcomer Rick Scott beat longtime congressman and state Attorney General Bill McCollum for the GOP gubernatorial nomination. And in Alaska, tea party activists and Sarah Palin pushed Sen. Lisa Murkowski to the brink of defeat, depending on absentee ballot counts in her race against outsider Joe Miller.

A fight is being waged within the Republican Party. It’s a fight between REAL Republicans, the old fashioned Reagan Conservative Republicans, and the RINOs that have come to represent a party that is in severe need of a makeover.

The GOP has made it clear that they will blow smoke up the TEA Party’s skirt, use them if they can, and once elections are over, they plan to try and co-opt the TEA Party into being a wing of the GOP.

It’s just NOT going to happen that way folks.

There are multitudes of Conservatives out there in *I VOTE LAND* that are SO tired of the GOP, Michael Steele, the RNC, the RINOs, Graham, McCain, Murkowski, Snowe, Collins and so many others. I am happy to see that in many cases, REAL Republicans are replacing RINOs.

The GOP is likely to survive its bitter intraparty battles in such states as Alaska and Utah, even if voters oust veteran senators in both. But tea party-backed candidates might be a godsend to desperate Democrats elsewhere – in Nevada, Florida and perhaps Kentucky, where the Democrats portray GOP nominees as too extreme for their states.

Too extreme for America and their states? Or for the Dems and their game?

God, guns and guts is too extreme? Believing in God is too extreme? Standing up for the right to life of the unborn is too extreme? Wanting secure borders and wanting those in this nation that are not here legally removed? That’s too extreme for the Dems?

Do Americans, especially the Blacks of this nation, which do, by and large, vote Democratic, need to be reminded that it was the Democrats that started the Klan? It was the Democrats that sought at every turn to deny the Black man the right to vote? To be counted as a WHOLE person? Do the Dems REALLY want to go there regarding extremes?

If Murkowski joins Sen. Bob Bennett, R-Utah, as a victim of party activists who demand ideological purity, other Republicans are still likely to win in November, though Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Ky., would have to deal with more maverick members who are loathe to compromise. And the conservative insurgency is hardly all-powerful, as Sen. John McCain proved by easily winning renomination in Arizona despite a challenge from the right by J.D. Hayworth.

‘As a victim of party activists who demand ideological purity‘ has a nice ring to it.

Compromise is OUT of the question! Compromise is what took America to the brink of disaster, the one that we are now facing in the person of Barack Hussein Obama.

Regarding Conservative insurgency and John McCain, all I can say to the GOP voters of Arizona is this; John McCain is nothing more than an ass-kissing RINO. He got all Conservative as soon as the election cycle started again, and you folks bought it. As soon as it’s over, he’ll go right back to being an ass-kissing RINO, writing bills with Feingold and the like, reaching across the aisle and siding with the Dems at every occasion.

Arizona, you should be ashamed of yourselves.

The White House has tried to link the Republican Party with the fledgling conservative-libertarian tea party coalition – and demonize the combination as too extreme for the country.

That’s “the Republican tea party” that’s “offering more of the past but on steroids” and is “out of step with where the American people are,” Vice President Joe Biden told the party’s rank and file last week.

Here we go with that too extreme stuff again. What, exactly, is too extreme?

An American president bowing to foreign dignitaries? Is that too extreme?

How about giving away TRILLIONS of our tax dollars for a bail out and stimulus that simply has not worked?

I know, this has to be the big extreme the Dems are talking about; that wonderful ObamaCare program? How about it Dems? You still want to talk about extreme?

I can’t speak for ALL TEA Party groups in America, but if ANY of them have become a part of, or a servant to the GOP, they have co-opted themselves and are no longer a representative of what the TEA Party is all about. And yes, I DO know of some that have.

Nevada Republicans’ nomination of tea party favorite Sharron Angle may save Sen. Harry Reid, the Democratic leader. His popularity has fallen sharply among state voters, but Democrats say Angle’s comments are scaring voters away from her and back toward him.

I can’t argue that, don’t intend to try. You see, for some reason, Americans have become a lame, lazy, apathetic and complacent bunch. A real speaker of the truth scares many in this nation. The weak are going to follow the path of least resistance and align themselves with the one that tells them of all the free milk and honey they will provide, as long as you give the vote to them.

The truth isn’t spoken. The fact that we have to work for a living, the fact that we can’t be the savior to all the little creatures on the planet is NOT what the weak minded libbers or RINOs want to hear and it’s not what Dems and RINOs are preaching!

The left and RINOs don’t want the truth. They can’t handle the truth.

Stand your ground TEA Party Patriots. Don’t bow to the GOP or the Dems. Stand for what you know is right for America and stand for what’s right in your heart!

Don’t get weak now. We have a lot more fighting to do, and we’re weeding out the weak sisters as fast as we can. We need men and women of courage, people that aren’t afraid to stand and be confrontational. People that aren’t afraid to get bloodied in the fight!

America 1st! Vote your conscience, not some PARTY line. Challenge everything!

MEXICO CITY – A survivor has told police that 72 people found dead at a ranch near the Mexican border with Texas were migrants kidnapped by an armed group, a federal official said Wednesday.

The bodies of 58 men and 14 women were discovered Tuesday when Marines manning a checkpoint on a highway in the northern state of Tamaulipas were approached by a wounded man who said he had been attacked by gang gunmen at a nearby ranch.

A federal official said that man had identified himself an illegal migrant. The man said he and other migrants had been kidnapped by an armed group and taken to the ranch in San Fernando, a town about 100 miles (160 kilometers) south of Brownsville, Texas, according to the federal official, who had access to the investigation. He spoke on condition of anonymity because the was not authorized to speak publicly about the case.

The official said police believe the migrants were mostly from Central America — a population that has been increasingly targeted by drug gangs who demand money from U.S.-bound foreigners or who kidnap them to claim ransoms from relatives in the United States or their home countries.

Full Story Here:
Official: 72 found dead in Mexico may be migrants

It’s all about perception.

Perception – noun
1. the act or faculty of apprehending by means of the senses or of the mind; cognition; understanding.
2. immediate or intuitive recognition or appreciation, as of moral, psychological, or aesthetic qualities; insight; intuition; discernment: an artist of rare perception.
3. the result or product of perceiving, as distinguished from the act of perceiving; percept.
4. Psychology . a single unified awareness derived from sensory processes while a stimulus is present.
5. Law . the taking into possession of rents, crops, profits, etc.

It’s ALL in how you look at it!

How many times have we heard those that support and defend the ILLEGALS that are flooding this nation and helping to further tank our economy say, “But they’re only seeking jobs and a new homeland. They only want to do the jobs that Americans won’t do.”

Well, it looks like the cartels are, in a ’roundabout way’, actually DOING the job that Americans won’t do. They are keeping a great many potential ILLEGALS out of the USA.

I can almost hear the cries of racist and bigot coming from Long Beach…

Investigators have not determined who was behind the massacre, but the federal official noted that the area is controlled by the Zetas drug cartel, which has diversified into kidnapping migrants.

I would say that Los Zetas would be an excellent place to start looking for suspects.

The scale of the massacre of migrants appeared to be unprecedented even by the gruesome standards of Mexican drug cartels.

Obviously, the cartels are stepping up their efforts to control their territory and instill fear in ANY that dare to cross paths with them. I include the Mexican government in that too. The cartels want the government to fear them, and indeed, I believe they do.

The newspaper Reforma, citing a police report, said that that the migrants were trying to reach the U.S. border and were killed when they refused to pay extortion fees demanded by the armed group. Reforma said the survivor was from Ecuador. The federal officials could not immediately confirm those details.

I don’t suppose it matters where they are from, they were headed to the USA, and were, pardon the pun, dead set on entering OUR nation illegally.

The Navy said it dispatched aircraft to check out the man’s report and when the gunmen saw the marines, they opened fire and tried to flee in a convoy of vehicles. One marine and three of the suspects were killed in the shootout.

Navy personnel seized 21 assault rifles, shotguns and rifles, and detained a minor.

Wow, those Mexican Marines are some efficient and BAD Dudes huh? They killed three suspects and detained a minor? That’s the best the Mexican Marines could do?

Mexico’s drug violence has surged since President Felipe Calderon dispatched soldiers and federal police to root out drug traffickers from their strongholds in northern Mexico and along the Pacific coast.

More than 28,000 people have been killed in drug-gang violence since the offensive began.

As long as the deaths and violence are on the MEXICAN side of the border, I’m really not concerned in the least. Sadly, it’s not going to remain that way much longer.

Here is a small sample of cartel violence that a simple 1 minute search produced;

The gun battles in Juarez are already affecting El Paso, Texas. SOURCE

Mexican drug cartels have threatened police officers in Arizona. SOURCE

Mexican and U.S. authorities were “secretly scrambling” last month to thwart an alleged plot by a Mexican drug cartel to blow up a Texas dam and unleash billions of gallons of water along the U.S.-Mexico border, the Houston Chronicle reported. SOURCE

Mexico Drug Cartels Empty Border Towns. SOURCE

It’s only a matter of time America. These acts of mass murder, despicable and gross acts of evil and violence will be coming to a city or town near you if you live in a border state.

Soon, these acts will spread across the nation, much as it has in Mexico. That, my friends, is the nature of the beast.

We Americans face 2 beasts that want to destroy a free America, drug cartels and Islam. It’s only a matter of time until we fight them in the streets. We fight or we die.

That’s as simple as it can be said!
