Report: Thousands of Illegal Immigrants Freed From Texas Jail

HOUSTON — Federal immigration officials let thousands of inmates in the nation’s third-most populous county walk out of jail despite the suspects admitting they were in the U.S. illegally, a newspaper investigation found.

More than 3,500 inmates told Harris County jailers they were in the country illegally over an eight-month period starting in June 2007, but records show Immigration and Customs Enforcement filed paperwork to detain only about a quarter of them.

In a story published Sunday, The Houston Chronicle found that most illegal immigrants released from jail were accused of minor crimes. But others included convicted child molesters, rapists and those ordered to be deported decades ago.

ICE officials said they are doing the best they can with their resources.

This is a CERTAIN FACT, many of these ILLEGALS will be rearrested in no time at all. Crime is their life and crime is ALL they do! And I have to wonder, what will the headline be if one or more of these ILLEGALS commits a murder, or several on some innocent citizens?

That may well be the truth too! Given the financial situation that we are facing here in America today, given the fact that our MORON in Chief loves him some wetbacks, given the fact that our MORON elect loves HIM some wetbacks too, maybe ICE is saddled with a lot more than they can get to!

Any efforts made to stem the tide of ILLEGALS in this nation, any done under MORON 43’s administration, was nothing more than a hollow effort, one made simply to *appear* to be *doing something*, and done in an attempt to pacify the LEGAL, and REAL citizens of this nation, you and me!

In releasing 3,500 ILLEGALS back onto the streets of Houston, and thus onto the citizens of Texas, it appears that there has been a huge breakdown in our Homeland Security. I don’t suppose that anyone can offer any hope that *The One* will do a thing different?? I mean, he is NOT going to alienate his future voting base I am guessing.

Folks, I am NOT a revolutionary, I am NOT an anarchist, I have been accused of inciting violence against ILLEGALS before though, by stating that I firmly believe that they need to be shot on sight as they cross our border, but that is NOT an incitement of violence, that is simply a statement of opinion and a wish to see this nation properly defended.

I do NOT believe that the following paragraph is an incitement of violence either, but if some FAUX intellectuals want to interpret it as such, so be it.

We, the armed citizens of Texas, are about to have to defend our homes, families and freedoms, if the government can’t protect us from this ILLEGAL HORDE, then it is going to be up to us to protect ourselves as we exercise our given rights under The Castle Doctrine!

McCain TV ad blames Obama for ‘amnesty’ failure – in Spanish

WASHINGTON –A new Spanish-language John McCain television commercial airing in Colorado, Nevada and New Mexico attacks Barack Obama for not doing enough to support the so-called “comprehensive immigration reform” legislation backed by President Bush and Sen. Ted Kennedy that was defeated last year after a national uprising in which it was characterized as a massive “amnesty” scheme.

The ad claims Obama deliberately backed “poison pill” amendments meant to undermine the compromise hammered out by McCain, Kennedy and others.

Supporting its claims in the commercial, the McCain campaign cited a Christian Science Monitor column of April 17 by Ariel Sabar that said: “Obama was part of the bipartisan group of senators who began meeting in 2005 on comprehensive immigration reform. But last summer, with the presidential nominating race well under way, Obama backed 11th-hour amendments – supported by labor, immigrant rights, and clergy groups – that Republicans saw as imperiling the fragile compromise. None of those measures passed. But Obama was part of a 49-to-48 majority that voted to end after five years a temporary worker program that had been a cornerstone of the immigration deal. The vote, backed by labor, was seen as a major setback to bipartisan negotiations.”

The campaign also cited a June 17, 2007, column in Roll Call by Morton Kondracke that said Obama voted for a labor-backed amendment “designed to insert a deadly ‘poison pill’ into the bipartisan ‘grand bargain’ on immigration reform.”

At the risk of incurring the wrath of some friends, Republicans and Conservatives, all political BS and mudslinging aside, McCain was all for the AMNESTY plan. McCain was all for making some 20 odd million or so ILLEGALS instantly legal and fast tracking them to U.S. citizenship!

My Congressman, Sam Johnson, and one of my Senators, John Cornyn, worked vigorously to block this open door amnesty plan, one that is still enthusiastically supported by John McCain. This amnesty support by McCain, done in direct lockstep with George W. Bush, has been my biggest reason for being so slow to back the Senator from Arizona, and this article tends to still give me great pause regarding McCain and his leadership abilities, and make me ask the question, just WHAT are McCain’s real intentions??

McCain chides Obama for not supporting this trash legislation fully, as he and Sen. Kennedy did. Obama did drop his support of the amnesty bill, but it had nothing to do with beliefs, it had everything to do with pandering to the polls and paying attention to one of the largest movements to surface in a long time, the Conservative BLOG WORLD, as many courageous bloggers took on the President and our elected officials to stop this travesty called immigration amnesty.

Do I feel that John McCain will be a better POTUS overall?? Yes, reluctantly, I do, at least to some degree, but I also feel that the illegal immigration issues will NOT be addressed to the satisfaction of the voters. I believe that we’ll have to fight at least once again, fight to stop McCain from actually being a continuation of the Bush administration, especially on the topic of amnesty.

I have said, on many occasions, McCain sides with the Democrats on as many, if not more issues as he does the Republicans. I still maintain that McCain is NOT a Conservative, not by ANY definition. I also believe that McCain will be almost as bad for this nation as Obama, and therein lies the fly in the ointment.

We, the American people, are about to be forced to vote for the lesser of the evils all over again, and no matter how you cut it, McCain IS the lesser of the evils, and that forces me to ask this question: Don’t the American people deserve a better choice than that?

Maybe not, as of late I haven’t seen a lot of enthusiasm that’s deserving of the very best, all you have to do is look at the possibilities that were overlooked in the nominations process of BOTH parties, and if you take a close look at BOTH of the individuals running for President, you can plainly see that we, the people, are NOT putting our best foot forward.

AUSTIN – U.S. Sen. Kay Bailey Hutchison said Thursday she hasn’t been asked to be John McCain’s running mate, despite speculation that she’s a possible choice for the No. 2 spot on the Republican ticket.

The Texas senator told a gathering of the Texas Association of Counties that she doesn’t have plans to be in Ohio on Friday, where McCain could announce his vice presidential pick.

Hutchison later told reporters she believes McCain has already made his choice. And she reiterated that she wasn’t asked.

“As you all know I said very early on that my sights were a different place and I did not want to be considered,” said the senator, who has hinted that she might run for Texas governor in 2010.

SANTA ANA, Calif. - Federal immigration officials vowed Friday to intensify efforts to track down illegal immigrants after scrapping a trial “self-deportation” program that attracted only eight volunteers.

Though the 2 1/2-week effort produced few volunteer deportees among illegal immigrants who are under court orders to leave the country, a U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement official said his agency will arrest more of them this year than last — and still more next year as more agents are assigned.

“We are going to continue our enforcement of immigration law whether it is convenient for people, or whether it’s not convenient,” Jim Hayes, ICE’s acting director of detention and removal operations, told reporters.

“Congress has mandated that we enforce these laws and that is what we intend to do,” he said.

Immigrant advocates accused ICE of using the failure of the “Scheduled Departure” program to justify raids that have caused many illegal immigrants to live in fear of a pre-dawn knock on the door. They ridiculed the self-deportation program, saying it gave people no incentive to surrender.

Immigration agency vows more enforcement

Here’s what I think needs to be done in regards to deportation of the ILLEGALS that are an infestation on this nation. Round em up and march em to the border, send em across the border, back to their homeland, man the border with troops, law enforcement personnel, Border Patrol,whatever, and shoot any of em that try to come back into this nation at anything OTHER than a LEGAL U.S. border crossing.

We don’t need any more laws in America, we don’t need any more rules and/or regulations, we have more than enough laws and programs on the books, what we need is a government that has the BALLS to fully enforce the laws we already have.

So, tell me, why are some people so surprised when the laws of this land are enforced and when ridiculous programs such as this voluntary self-deportation thing fail miserably? If the arrest and deportation of ILLEGALS bothers the ILLEGALS, all they have to do is get LEGAL, or leave, one way or another.

I personally will welcome LEGAL immigrants with open arms. I have absolutely NO problems with lawbreakers suffering whatever fate awaits them.

Further, I believe that in defending this nation in such a manner would fall under the auspices of The Castle Doctrine and Self-Defense and would be a duly lawful act as such.

Generally, the “castle doctrine” provides that someone attacked in his home can use reasonable force, which can include deadly force, to protect his or another’s life without any duty to retreat from the attacker. It is defined differently in different states. The name appears to have its origin in the English common law rules protecting a person’s home and the phrase “one’s home is one’s castle.”

Folks, I am firmly convinced that we are being invaded by a hostile force that intends to do harm to as many Americans as they possibly can as they attempt to reinsert themselves in a land that they consider to be lawfully theirs, Aztlán, and damn the consequences to the American people in the process.

I am told that we don’t need any more rednecks down on the borders making it even worse than it already is for border patrol personnel, SOURCE, and with that thought I tend to agree, but we DO need professional fighting men and women on that border, and a professional soldier is something my accuser has no understanding of apparently, nor does he comprehend defense of the nation.

We must stop this ILLEGAL INVASION by any means necessary.

In WWII, when our troops swarmed the beaches of Normandy, Guadalcanal, Iwo Jima, Tarawa, and many other places, we were looked upon as INVADERS, and many of our troops were killed in the process of taking those lands.

Today the United States of America is being invaded and I ask you, wouldn’t it be our right, nay, our DUTY, to repel those invaders as forcefully as necessary?

If someone breaks into your home you have every right to shoot them dead, well, the United States of America is MY home, I feel that same right applies, to ALL of us.

I am asking all of my readers for an honest opinion, would stationing troops on our borders and giving the order to SHOOT TO KILL be an act of murder or is it an act of self defense, and the defense of our nation?
