Benghazi: The End of the Obama Regime?

Benghazi depositions to examine Clinton’s role

WASHINGTON (AP) – The Republican chairman of the House oversight panel is asking a veteran diplomat and a former chairman of the Joints Chief of Staff for sworn testimony about their investigation into the deaths of four Americans at a diplomatic outpost in Benghazi, Libya. SOURCE

It looks like Rep. Darrell Issa is out for blood on this one, and rightly so in MY opinion.

There has been much written and said about Benghazi of late but this past weekend it appears that the MEDIA has become actively involved. There are also some issues at hand with the MEDIA and their direct connection to media management and White House *persons in high places*.

Presidents of ABC and CBS News Have Siblings Working at White House With Ties to Benghazi

“CBS News President David Rhodes and ABC News President Ben Sherwood, both of them have siblings that not only work at the White House, that not only work for President Obama, but they work at the NSC on foreign policy issues directly related to Benghazi.” SOURCE

Now I’m not making an accusation mind you, but somehow, this just screams nepotism to me, and may well explain WHY some in the media are being so defensive of the White House right about now.

This story has been floating around all weekend, SHOCK, CORRUPTION EXPOSED: CBS News President About To Fire Reporter For Exposing Benghazi Coverup Is Brother Of Coverup Co-Conspirator.

Excerpted from The Daily Caller: The brother of a top Obama administration official is also the president of CBS News, and the network may be days away from dropping one of its top investigative reporters for covering the administration’s scandals too aggressively.

CBS News executives have reportedly expressed frustration with their own reporter, Sharyl Attkisson, who has steadily covered the Obama administration’s handling of the Benghazi terrorist attack in Libya since late last year.

The media in America is about to implode, and quite likely WILL if their hero, Barack Obama, and his regime can be held at fault for the actions, and lack thereof at Benghazi on Sept. 11, 2012.

And then we get this little blurb: Reports: Benghazi used by Obama Administration to ship arms to Jihadi terrorists.

Fox News correspondent Geraldo Rivera has gone public stating his sources have verified that the now destroyed and abandoned U.S. Consulate in Benghazi, Libya was actually a way station for American weapons to be shipped to Syrian rebels, as reported by The Blaze via Google News on 10 May, 2013.

Geraldo and Beck; a pair to draw to, poker players will *get* the reference, but snarkism aside, they may well be about to slam Obama’s and Hillary’s noses in the door.

If Geraldo and The Blaze have it right then that may well explain why the IRS vs. The TEA Party story suddenly came to the forefront of the news over the weekend. Even Rep. Michele Bachmann got a clue. Bachmann: Obama released IRS bombshell because of Benghazi.

There are other *whistle blowers* that will be coming into prominence I am sure, some will come forward that have absolutely nothing to lose and *beans will be spilled*.

Some seem to think this is a possibility: CURL: Watch out for Petraeus in Benghazi scandal. I sincerely hope so because Gen. Petraeus has more credibility than the entire Obama regime put together.

Duck and dodge, lie and deflect, cover it up and pray that the media keeps on carrying the water for Obama; THAT is what Obama has, it’s the ONLY hope he has, but I’m thinking that a few in the media have been awakened and are looking for a Pulitzer right about now.

My opinion; Obama will serve out his term in disgrace; he doesn’t possess the dignity or shame to resign like Richard Nixon. Benghazi should give Conservatives and the GOP the wherewithal to hold, and make gains in the Congress and to retake the Senate, provided the GOP can pull its head out of its ass and run some viable and electable candidates.

The biggest WIN I see in this? Hillary Clinton may very well be totally and completely put out to pasture, a good place for the old cow.

One final thought; wouldn’t it be a hoot to see Jay Carney get arrested on charges of *general stupidity*? Jay Carney; the epitome of stupid.

This news of “siblings” of major media in the white house does reek of nepotism in the most heinous way. Companies have relatives that work there sometimes, maybe often, and generally that isn’t a problem. I believe part of Obama’s success is getting dirt on as many people as possible and holding that dirt over the affected people’s heads, i.e. Chicago politics. We should all stick to this story with Gorilla Glue(tm) and not let it die. Keep writing, calling and encouraging our Senators and Representatives to keep this on the front burner, because if this gets by there’s no telling what may be next.
I totally agree with everything you wrote here and before, Fred.

Last night 60 Minutes did a story on an American woman who was kidnaped and held for ransom in Somalia and her daring rescue by a one of our Seal Teams. It was an interesting story until Obama was given enormous credit for the rescue. This ties in to the Benghazi situation in that it is an attempt to glorify Obama in his handling of such situations. When we consider the family ties between the President of CBS News and the White House it becomes apparent that this is an attempt to enhance Obama’s image.

One would think that any reporter with any credibility who works for NBC, CBS, or ABC would be knocking on the doors of Fox News asking for a job.

The more anyone tries to dig into the Obama White House and their relationship with the media in America, the more incestuous that relationship seems. If they continue to dig, the hole they create may very well swallow up the Obama administration in disgrace. As well it should.

  4. The sink hole or better yet the stink hole will as you say Larry will no doubt devour the Obama administration. I pray for that day to come. Still the longer BHO lingers in office the more damage he can still do to our country.

The secondary problem, if all allegations are proved we will be stuck with “you know who” Joe Biden unless he is also implicated then I guess we get the Speaker of the House. ….Heaven forbid..

I got a chance to see his presser this morning. He continues his lies, and I wonder if he even knows fact from fiction. He was back to the YouTube video, and he told America the next day it was terrorism. Does he really think this will fly?

The president of the US is also the Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces. As far as I can tell, Obama’s first actual time as the CINC while the US was under attack was Benghazi. The killing of Osama was in the planning for months and a lot of time was taken to make the decision to go ahead with the mission. But, a US Consulate was under attack NOW and decisions had to be made NOW. How did Obama react to his first actual baptism of fire? He punted…he passed the buck…he had someone else make the decisions…he went to freaking bed.

This from the Washington Times: Testifying to the Senate Armed Services Committee, Mr. Panetta said the president told them to “do whatever you need to do to be able to protect our people there,” though when it came to specifics the president “left it up to us.”

That was his responsibility of the CINC; not Panetta or General Dempsey. A US Consulate was under sustained attack and he only devoted 15 minutes of his precious time to it. After all, there was a campaign going on and funds needed to be raised.
