Obama calls for three-year spending freeze
Declaring that “I do not accept second place for the United States of America,” President Barack Obama compared the economic crisis to the greatest challenges of the nation’s past, saying “history’s call” demanded a years-long freeze on huge chunks of popular government spending programs.
In his first State of the Union address, Obama bluntly compared the recession to great challenges of the past like the Civil War and the bloody struggle for civil rights in the 1960s. While there has been progress, it has stalled, he said, telling lawmakers in the House chamber and millions of Americans at home that “the devastation remains.”
“I take my share of the blame for not explaining it more clearly to the American people,” Obama said. “… This problem is not going away.”
After having campaigned for the White House by promising to expand government help for struggling segments of the population, Obama reversed course Wednesday night. He called for a total freeze for three years, beginning in 2011, on all government spending other than national security and public insurance programs that are mandated by law — Medicare, Medicaid and Social Security.

I watched, and listened as Barack Hussein Obama give the State of the Union speech last night. Actually, it’s not going to be all that hard to analyze and critique what Obama had to say.
See?? That wasn’t so hard now was it?
In a recent interview with Diane Sawyer on ABC World News, Barack Hussein Obama said:
I’d rather be a really good one-term president than a mediocre two-term president.
Actually, I am a bit surprised that Obama has lasted as long as he has. I’m surprised that he hasn’t been impeached for incompetency, removed from office and run out of town. I never thought he would make it past a month or 2, much less serve a full 4 year term. So far, I have been wrong. But for Obama to even remotely believe that he is a success, of ANY kind, only highlights the egotistical narcissism of the biggest failure to ever infest the Oval Office.
I can’t think of one thing that Obama has done that I could call a success. I can’t think of so much as one thing that he’s done to inspire confidence. What I have seen, so far, is a POTUS that makes many questions get asked, and those questions have everything to do with the idea that he is trying to bankrupt this nation, morally and financially,
The biggest question that I want answered is this; at what point in time does the situation that our nation is in become the responsibility of Obama and his minions? You can only blame Bush, and other previous administrations, for so long. And several times last night, Obama blamed Bush for everything that this nation suffers. And not so indirectly either!
Granted, Bush does deserve some of the blame, as do his predecessors, but to hear Obama tell it, he really IS The Obamessiah and he is going to lead us out of the wilderness brought on by the past transgressions of the Evil Bush Empire. What he doesn’t say is that his leadership will take us from the wilderness into the chains of full blown socialism and slavery!
Obama hasn’t got a clue when it comes to managing America. He didn’t write the speech he gave last night. He wouldn’t know where to start. Barack Hussein Obama has never held a job, never owned or managed a business, never been a producer of anything other than a line of political bullshit! Now he thinks he can manage the United States and dictate policy to the entire world!
I also watched and listened as the new Governor of Virginia, Bob McDonnell, gave the GOP response to Obama’s load of crap. I couldn’t help but notice the way the GOP staged their *BIG TENT* affair to flaunt their all inclusiveness, as well as their racial and sexual diversity.
McDonnell was flanked by an Asian male and a Black female. Yes Sir, that’s getting the message across. Nothing subliminal about that!
The reason that the GOP is the wreck it is right now is because of this *BIG TENT* mentality. I, for one, am damned tired of the GOP being a *BIG TENT*, and nothing more than Dem Lite!
There’s nothing wrong with sexual and/or racial diversity, but when the all powerful Political Correctness has to be embraced before the GOP can give an, at best, lukewarm response to the Obama SOTU address?
NO MORE RINOs, no more moderates, no more sitting back and taking whatever it is the GOP and RNC decide to hand us. By God it’s time to get LOUD and PROUD as they used to say in the deep South! No more Casper Milquetoast. Fire in the hole and damn the torpedoes, we have a nation to save! And the GOP response I heard tonight just didn’t stand up to muster in MY not so humble opinion!
One other thing, I captured this picture from MSNBC and have it hosted to MY pics file so they can’t piss and moan about their stuff being used by a blogger that doesn’t get a dribble down his leg every time Obama opens his pie hole!

I too am amazed that Obama is still in office…or even alive as that matter goes. I really thought some ‘white supremacist’ group would have put him on their hit list…and now after all he has messed up here in the USA…he may be on a lot of other hit list.
I do hope Americans wake up and take out ( vote out ) all those that do not work as the people want them to. It doesn’t matter which party…so you RINO’s had better take notice…your days are numbered.

Another thing I observed… the Arrogance he demonstrated in Scolding the Supreme Court Justices for dismantling the RINO legislation that was supposed to be Campaign Finance reform!!! How dare he attack the branch that is the only Constitutional watch dog we have right now! Kind of demonstrates how much respect Obozo DOESN’T have for this country now doesn’t it???

The spending freeze is smoke and mirrors. Charles Krauthammer is reporting how Obama increased the spending for most of these departments and now he’s going to freeze it at the increased levels. He increased the EPA budget by 35% and now he freezes it at that increased level.
Put a few hair plugs on Walter and you’ve got Biden’s twin brother.

Fred - You mentioned the term infest the White House. Very appropriate; Obama is like the roach that keeps just out of reach. His vision for this country is not what I want for my children or grandchildren. I am determined to fight by any means possible to see his visions shoved up his rear end. Fred this was addressed by Hot Air in this mornings blog; the black female is Lisa Hick-Thomas, Virginia’s Secretary of Administration, while the asian is Jim Cheng, Secretary of Commerce and Trade. The female on the lower right is Janet Polarek, Secretary of the Commonwealth. The gentleman on the lower left is Staff Sergeant Robert Tenpenny, who served with McDonnell’s daughter Jeannie in Iraq.
While not as forceful as perhaps we would have liked it to be some good things were addressed by McDonnell:
“Good government policy should spur economic growth, and strengthen the private sector’s ability to create new jobs. We must enact policies that promote entrepreneurship and innovation, so America can better compete with the world. What government should not do is pile on more taxation, regulation, and litigation that kill jobs and hurt the middle class.”
“Over-regulating employers won’t create more employment; overtaxing investors won’t foster more investment.
“Top-down one-size fits all decision making should not replace the personal choices of free people in a free market, nor undermine the proper role of state and local governments in our system of federalism. As our Founders clearly stated, and we Governors understand, government closest to the people governs best.”
Three year spending freeze on discretionary funds, translates to we will only spend money on what I want.
OK txhillcountry, the Governor of Virginia put on a weak-assed, multi-cultural dog and pony show that FULLY represents the sexual and racial diversity of HIS *BIG TENT* GOP beliefs and one that further serves in an attempt by Virginia officials to dispel the fears of accusations of racism that some still believe exists within the GOP, especially in the South…

That Biden picture is just too damned funny. As I was slowly scrolling down - I saw his picture and the first thought that came through my mind was - “Wow, looks an awful lot like Walter” and then when I scrolled the rest of the way down and saw your Walter comparison I just about spit out my soda.
I could only watch that SOTU speech in little parts - I was getting just too damned frustrated with the “more of me” and “more of big government” bullshit he was pushing on us. He apparently hasn’t gotten the message we are fed up with him and we don’t want more of either him or government. He’s delusional.

All Obama knows is to lie and spend—high speed rail system in FL. Free tution if you work for the government for 10 years aftet graduating from college-hell after 10 years of government work who would want to leave that cushy job. Obama firing down on SCOTUS was totally out of line. I have never thought however, that members of the court and the Chiefs should be at these events—thats another thing.
All in all the speech landed about where I expected. Obama did not move to the center as some thought. He will go down with the ship or take us all to hell!

I find it funny that normal everyday working people can see that he is nothing but a fraud yet, the Democrats act like he is the best thing since sliced bread. Nancy Pelosi and her fake smile makes me want to puke every time I see her face. Obama did nothing but push those that oppose him farther away. I find it funny that it looked more like an “Exercise Infomercial” than an “Official Speech” by the POTUS. I was actually waiting to see Richard Simmons running around getting the old people “Sweatin to the Oldies”. I can’t remember much of the BS he said but I do know that I was not impressed.
