Liberals May Complain, But They’ve Still Got a Crush on Obama

Liberals like to think that they can put the squeeze on President Obama for the myriad of disappointments to which he has subjected them. Reporters and pundits talk about an uproar in his base and activists voice their frustrations, but the truth is, Obama’s left flank looks pretty safe.

There was a good bit of attention paid this week to liberal protesters who interrupted one of Obama’s fundraising speeches in California. The group of San Francisco activists was there to seek the release of an Army private accused of leaking secret documents to the Web site Wikileaks.

But the protesters paid $76,000 to get into the event and actually serenaded Obama with a sweet song that included a promise to vote for him and then left the scene peacefully. That’s the kind of protest most politicians would kill for: pay, sing and leave before having a second cup of coffee.

Even as the Wikileaks troubadours were in the midst of their high-priced publicity stunt, Obama’s administration was escalating the war in Libya with drone strikes against government forces and enacting a deal to ship drones to the government in Pakistan to expand the covert war there. While the protesters sang, generals under Obama’s command were negotiating a deal to keep a permanent U.S. military presence in Iraq.

If you voted for Obama in 2008 to prove you’re not a racist, you’ll have to vote for someone else in 2012 to prove you’re not an idiot.

Some folks thought I was joking when I sent that little line out in an email a few days ago. I was NOT joking.

But here’s the truth of the matter, if the GOP and RNC can’t come up with a powerful, charismatic, intelligent candidate, one that Republicans, Conservatives and moderates can embrace, one that can beat the stuffing out of Obama, the ‘usual suspects’ that the GOP offers up is going to hand Obama another term in the Oval Office and, in MY not so humble opinion, hand the USA a DEATH certificate.

Some moderate Democrats see it. Libbers, hard core libbers, well, they won’t see it. In their eyes, Obama is the savior of their cause. He’s working hard to destroy everything that IS America and he’s one of them. That’s a combination of Libber ecstasy, nirvana, kismet and all out luck.

But you need to pay special attention to this:

Washington (CNN) – President Barack Obama’s job approval rating among Americans is edging down, according to an average of the most recent national polls.

A CNN Poll of Polls compiled and released Friday indicates that 45 percent of the public say they approve of the job the president’s doing in the White House, with 48 percent saying they disapprove of how Obama’s handling his duties. SOURCE

I don’t generally place a lot of faith in polls, but this is CNN. No pun intended. CNN, the bastion of Liberal News, them and MSNBC, but anyway, if CNN comes out and tells us that Obama’s numbers are DOWN, well, they must be WAY down.

WASHINGTON (AP) — President Barack Obama says one answer to high gasoline prices is to spend money developing renewable energy sources.

“That’s the key to helping families at the pump and reducing our dependence on foreign oil” in the long term, he said Saturday in his weekly radio and Internet address. SOURCE

That is the Obama solution to everything, SPEND MONEY.

Money that’s not his, money that We, The People don’t have and money that doesn’t need to be spent to appease a few tree huggers and PETA moonbats. We do NOT need to be spending money on renewable energy, not now, possibly not ever.

Senators James Inhofe of Oklahoma, Ranking Member of the Environment and Public Works Committee and Lisa Murkowski of Alaska, Ranking Member of the Environment and Natural Resources Committee, will release a report Thursday from the Congressional Research Service (CRS) showing that the United States’ combined recoverable natural gas, oil and coal endowment is the largest on Earth. As much as I truly dislike Sarah Palin, I have to give her this, she CAN turn a phrase, as long as it’s short, with mostly monosyllabic words, but DRILL BABY DRILL was a gem on her part. As much as I am convinced that it was nothing more than a campaign slogan at the time, the truth was spoken in those 3 words.

What, after all, is a renewable energy source? We hear people like Obama talking all the time about renewable energy sources, and I just can’t find an energy source that is renewable.

The wind blows all the time in many parts of America, but we hear people discredit wind powered turbines, they kill birds. And we’re not renewing the wind, it’s just there.

Solar power? A good source of energy in many cases I am sure, but when was the last time a maintenance guy went over to the sun and did a check on the power grid? Renewable? I don’t think so. It’s just there.

Electrical power is renewable, but look at how most of it is generated, gas or coal fired plants, or, OH MY GAWD, some plants use radioactive material to power their generators. Nuclear power, that energy source which the tree huggers and PETA people loathe the most.

Barack Hussein Obama is a walking nightmare, he is a disaster looking for a place to happen. He has NO clue about business, jobs, energy, finance and quite likely, what it is that made America the greatest nation on earth.

But there are still some out there that are true worshipers of The Obamessiah.
