Looters target Coney Island after Sandy sweeps through

A wave a looters followed the Sandy storm surge in Coney Island, creating a double-whammy for business owners trying to pick up the obliterated pieces.

The thieves started down Mermaid Avenue Tuesday morning as the chest-high water receded, turning the seaside community known for its hotdogs and tourist attractions into a lawless free-for-all.

“People were running in and out of Rent-A-Center carrying these big flat screens. They were holding on tight,” said witness Aisha John, 20. “I couldn’t understand how someone could steal a big TV in broad daylight, but no one cared.”

She said people were running out of a nearby Rite Aid with bags of diapers and wipes.

“Look, they’ve been looting our wallets for too long,” said a young male who claimed he helped himself to a TV at the Rent-A-Center. NY Daily News

OK, I can understand the diapers and wipes, I can understand food and water and if I were there in a Law Enforcement capacity and I knew that the people were hungry I would either turn a blind eye or I would help them get the food they needed to survive or the supplies they needed to save a baby or keep a baby healthy.

If I caught someone looting electronics stores, appliance stores, name brand athletic shoe stores and like I would hope that we had a standing order to shoot on sight!

Here are a few pics of looters, one from Hurricane Sandy and three from New Orleans and Hurricane Katrina. Do you notice ANY similarities or commonalities?

Go ahead, call me a racist for pointing out the TRUTH, the obvious TRUTH!

Notice the looters? In the old days they would have been shot, but under Mayor Big Gulp they have a free hand. In fact when asked for the National Guard by the Borough President, the mayor gave him the proverbial finger.

This is what happens when you take away the guns from people.

My first civilian “paid” job was in August 1965 in LA Riots where I shot looters.
Today, I still remember it all.
I would do it again, in a heart beat.
But my heart doesn’t beat so well these days.
So, I’ll just protect my home and property here in Gun Barrel City, TEXAS.
You younger men and women,,,,it’s your job now, so prepare for it, and do it!

MC, did you get paid per cartridge? Confirmed hit? Blood trail? How does one need to craft ones resume and to whom does one send it?!?!

Oh, and were you provided with benefits? I can see a “rebound” for Bush’s terrible economy that HUSSEIN has tried so hard to fix…Talk about “shovel ready jobs”…

Everywhere is regionally protected or UNprotected.

I’ve said it a million times, I’ll say it again:

When you cram hundreds of thousands of people into an urban area touted by Leftists as the End-All and Be-All of civilization — and you get SCREWED — you really shouldn’t be surprised in any fashion.

You BIT on the concept, you BUY the concept.

Yet that is what Obama intends. Cram more into the cities who are at the mercy of the government.

    • BobF says:

That’s why Democrats love the big cities. Look on any state voting map which separates counties and you’ll always see the big cities go Democrat while the rural areas go Republican.

  5. NativeSon says:

Fred, why is it racist to post 4 pictures in which every one on the offenders was wearing blue jeans?!?! I don’t get it? :)

  6. BobF says:

I knew guys who were at Homestead AFB when hurricane Andrew hit in 1992. They said the looters were on the scene even before the winds died down. One guy said that when they see you open the door with a shotgun in hand, they quickly turn and run.
