Obamacare fail: More enroll for Mars trip than for health exchange
The hits just keep on coming with Obamacare enrollee tales of disaster, with the latest joke that more people have actually completed an online application to journey to Mars than successfully signed into the White House’s websites for health reform exchanges.
The Daily Mail reported that Twitter exploded on Thursday after it was revealed that 202,586 individuals had successfully signed up for the Mars One colony project to populate the red planet as soon as the technology becomes available. By comparison, the analytics firm Compete.com found that only 36,000 have registered for Obamacare via the official government site, Healthcare.gov.
The Department of Health and Human Services said that number is wrong — that 51,000 have actually signed up, The Daily Mail reported. But no matter: Both numbers are still low when looked at through the lens of projections.
The Associated Press reported earlier this week that a HHS memo indicated that the government had actually set a goal of signing up 500,000 individuals per month, starting with Oct. 1.
The glitches over Obamacare enrollment are becoming quite an embarrassment for the White House. SOURCE
Somehow I just have to doubt that last line about Obamacare enrollment becoming an embarrassment for the White House. I don’t think the Obama regime CAN be embarrassed, I don’t think they have the ability to be embarrassed because, when all else fails they can BLAME BUSH and blame anything the American people oppose from Obama as RACISM.
What the Obama regime is going to have to accept is this; Americans do NOT want Obamacare, they see it as a failure, and for the most part, saw it as a failure before it ever got off of the ground and more to the point, Americans don’t like to be forced into anything and that is exactly what Obama is doing; forcing this debacle off on the American people.
Among the latest, as reported by The Daily Mail: Only 712 people in Vermont have been able to successfully enroll in the state exchange — despite the state spending about $9 million of taxpayer dollars to promote the online site. And Alaska continues to suffer a zero percentage rate. Sen. Lisa Murkowski said her state has yet to log in even one enrollee.
Look at the HUGE sums of money that Obama is spending to get his healthcare bill in place, and then look at the extremely small number of Americans that have signed up for it.
Obamacare is unsustainable, it is unaffordable for nearly ALL Americans, and those that could afford it are exempt from it.
Millions upon millions of OUT TAX DOLLARS are being spent in what amounts to a *bad ad campaign* that isn’t going to recoup any of its expenditure. Obamacare is going to be the straw that breaks the back of the American monetary system as it bankrupts a nation already strained to the limit.
Does anyone remember The Edsel by the Ford Motor Company?
The Edsel never gained popularity with contemporary American car buyers and sold poorly. The Ford Motor Company lost millions of dollars on the Edsel’s development, manufacturing and marketing.
Obamacare is the new Edsel, but unlike the Edsel and it nearly bankrupting Ford Motors, Obamacare is going to bankrupt the American taxpayer, and I believe that is the full intent of Obama, to BREAK the American people so that they become totally reliant on the United States government.
Meanwhile, CNN reported that the government website to enroll has been spontaneously wiping out some enrollees’ passwords.
But if we look on the bright side; Obama and Company are too stupid to build a simple registration site that works. Do we really need to worry all that much about *domestic intelligence gathering*?
