Taliban said to be furious over US missile strike
DERA ISMAIL KHAN, Pakistan (AP) – The Taliban are furious about the latest apparent U.S. missile strike in Pakistan, indicating a senior militant may be among two dozen people killed, officials and residents said Sunday.

And you know, it seems that there are a lot of Americans that need to be reminded of 9-11 and other events, the *feel good* apathy and PCness that rules this nation dictates that we sweep it under the rug and ignore it, like it never happened…

The really surprising thing here Fred is that so many in “blogdom” have written off the Taliban (more than once), have declared victory in Afghanistan (more than once), and continued to believe and trust Pakistan.
Storm, fully agreed… The Taliban, al-Qaida, whatever name they care to give themselves, they can NEVER be written off as long as ANY of them live…
Yeah, I know, that sounds a bit like a genocidal maniac, but it’s true, and yeah, I know, we’ll never be free of them, but if we keep on killing the bastards, in great numbers, perhaps we can break their will…
