A national furor over Islam has touched down in the heart of North Texas, where Irving’s mayor has accused mosque leaders of creating separate laws for Muslims, and requested a City Council vote this evening to endorse a state bill that Muslims say targets their faith.
The dispute has made Mayor Beth Van Duyne a hero among a fringe movement that believes Muslims — a tiny fraction of the U.S. population — are plotting to take over American culture and courts.
“It fuels anti-Islamic hysteria,” said Zia Sheikh, the Islamic Center of Irving’s imam.
“Her whole point was to rile up her supporters. … People are trying to galvanize their base. The problem is we become the whipping boys.” SOURCE
Muslims, liars to the core, claim they come to America for our freedoms and liberty but as soon as they arrive they immediately begin their attempt to CHANGE America to suit their needs and to make America a Muslim nation.

Bukhari (52:269) - “The Prophet said, ‘War is deceit.'” The context of this is thought to be the murder of Usayr ibn Zarim and his thirty unarmed men by Muhammad’s men after he “guaranteed” them safe passage (see Additional Notes below).
Bukhari (49:857) - “He who makes peace between the people by inventing good information or saying good things, is not a liar.” Lying is permitted when the end justifies the means.
Bukhari (84:64-65) - Speaking from a position of power at the time, Ali confirms that lying is permissible in order to deceive an “enemy.”
So, Zia Sheikh, there you have it, words from your own book of lies, your Quran. Do you think that we are ignorant of you and your profane cult of death and destruction?
Any American that doesn’t see the evil of Islam for what is needs to do so; the dangers are incredibly real and I stand with Mayor Beth Van Duyne as she stands against you and every other Muslim in this nation.
I will be checking the local news tonight and in the morning, looking for the result of the Irving vote. I hope we’re not disappointed; Islam, Sharia Law and Al-Taqiyya have, in MY opinion, no place in Texas nor the United States for that matter.

I am glad to see anyone stand up and point out the truth about this terrible political ideaology that has just enough belief in a diety to be considered a religion. islam means submission in Arabic. If our politicians only did a little homework on islam and it’s history they may just change their opinion of “the religion of peace”. Dr. Bill Warner over at Political Islam website has some very good lectures on islam, the Crusades and the effect that islam has had on western civilization over the last 1405 years. I applaud Mayor Duyne for her courageous stance.
IMHO George W Bush started all this crap when he called Islam a religion of peace. That allowed the camel’s nose under the tent. Needs to be a big pushback by govt at all levels against Islam. There is no place for Islam in the United States.

It’s 31 miles from Rowlett to Irving… We haven’t had issues with CAIR yet, there are NO Mosques here in Rowlett..

You are right minuteman. Bush fucked up trying to protect his Saudi buddies. The same ones funding wahabbism all over Europe and America. Bush should have been a war time president rallying the country. Instead he was a war time president saying we were not at war.

There is no such thing as a “moderate” Muslim. There are people who identify with Islam but they are not practicing Muslims. Non-practicing Muslims are Apostates of Islam. Under Sharia law apostasy is punishable by death.
