Donald Trump’s Proposal to Deport Millions of Immigrants? America’s Done It Before
Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump’s call for mass deportation of millions of immigrants living in the U.S. illegally, as well as their American-born children, bears similarities to a large-scale removal that many Mexican-American families faced 85 years ago.
During the Great Depression, counties and cities in the American Southwest and Midwest forced Mexican immigrants and their families to leave the U.S. over concerns they were taking jobs away from whites despite their legal right to stay.
The result: Around 500,000 to 1 million Mexican immigrants and Mexican Americans were pushed out of the country during the 1930s repatriation, as the removal is sometimes called.
During that time, immigrants were rounded up and sent to Mexico, sometimes in public places and often without formal proceedings. Others, scared under the threat of violence, left voluntarily. SOURCE
Leave it to NBC to immediately go into bleeding heart mode about actions that happened 85 years ago. Does NBC hate America too?
They don’t even blink at current issues like the actions of Hispanic Gangs that are dead-set on destroying any and everything they come into contact with. I’m surprised NBC didn’t go ballistic regarding Operation Wetback some 61 years ago. Might be because they are too PC to use the words *Wet Back*. Who knows, but I have to ask; why do these gang thugs all seem to have crippled fingers? Is that arthritis or did they get stuck in gang sign mode?
I have NO PROBLEM with legal immigrants coming to the USA, and I have no issues with those that have become naturalized U.S. citizens. Illegals, on the other hand, disrespect every individual that came to the USA and did it the right way.
Illegals must go.
They bring crime to this nation; drugs and more, they also suck up huge numbers of dollars on healthcare, schools and charity while working off the grid, sending a large percentage of their earnings back to their *home country*.
Come here legally and I welcome you with open arms, otherwise, if you didn’t come here to be a good American citizen, if you consider some other nation to be your *home*, then you need to go home and STAY HOME.
No matter what you may think of Donald Trump, good or bad, you have to give him this point; he says what most only think and few have the guts to say.
I say it ALL the time. Trump would like me.
