New Years Eve 2015

New Years Eve 2015

I wanted to say something witty, pithy and prophetic as 2015 ends and New Years 2016 begins but after all we’ve been through as a nation this year and after all we here in Texas have been through in the last few days I just don’t have the words in me…

I hope you and yours have a Happy New Year, I promise you, we will stick together here in Texas, it’s what we do, and we WILL get through this disaster together and come out even stronger on the other side…

I truly bow my head and then thank GOD that amidst all of this destruction that we haven’t lost anyone, that is a miracle from heaven I believe…

To all of my family, friends, Facebook folks and blog readers; thank you for being here for us and may your New Year be the best ever and remember to please help the folks of Texas recover, in any way you can, it’s ALL appreciated, and desperately needed too…

My thoughts are with you as this year ends and a new one begins.
Seeing the devastation in Rowlett I count my blessings that, as so difficult as my year has been, I have a roof over my head and a paycheck twice a week.

Like you I believe the people of Texas, affected by this disaster, will rise to the challenge and rebuild their cities, neighborhoods and lives.

Stay strong and keep the faith!

Going to have dinner with good friends this New Years afternoon. I hope you get together with your family and friends. I only hope we can enjoy the same things at the end of ’16 Fred.

2015 was certainly challenging. 2016 is going to be even more so. I don’t quite want to use the W word.
