Debra Medina and Ron Paul: The 9-11 Truther Connection

Debra Medina and Ron Paul: The 9-11 Truther Connection

When there’s this much stuff on the ‘net connecting Debra Medina to Ron Paul, how has that been missed by SO many and how can anyone possibly expect Medina to be anything other than a 9-11 Truther and at the very least, a closet Paulinista? A not so secret supporter and follower of Ron Paul?

You can read all about the moonbats that are 9-11 Truthers here: 9/11 Truth movement.

The Texas Republican gubernatorial primary was supposed to be a really big battle between two very large and important Goliaths. But a little David showed up and is threatening to toss a bag of tea in both their faces.

Debra Medina, a nurse and entrepreneur, entered the GOP’s gubernatorial primary with little to no fanfare. The “tea party” activist and Ron Paul organizer was expected to register, well, not at all. The first poll seemed to confirm her status as an also-ran — registering a mere four per cent as against two-term Texas governor Rick Perry at 46 per cent, and Senator Kay Bailey Hutchison at 35 per cent. SOURCE

And when Ron Paul himself writes a glowing endorsement of Debra Medina…well, just read it.

I would like to introduce you to a good friend of mine, Debra Medina. I have known Debra for over ten years and have always been impressed by her drive and commitment to principle. Debra has been a real defender of Liberty both in her home town of Wharton and across the state of Texas.

Debra has for years been a key supporter and member of my campaign team. As chairman of the Wharton County Republican Party, she has stood up to the big government establishment and fought to hold our party accountable to our platform and our conservative Texas values. Because of her leadership and organizational skills, I asked Debra to serve on the board of directors of my national grassroots action group, Campaign for Liberty, where she has played an important role in our fight to defend our Constitution.

In addition to her political accomplishments, I am proud of Debra for the person she is. Debra Medina is a loving wife, a home school mother of two talented honor students, and a successful business owner. Debra is a true success story and role model for Texans across our state.

I am proud to call Debra Medina a friend, and as a fellow Texan, I encourage you to get to know her. Debra is exploring a run for higher office and would appreciate your input on her effort. SOURCE

That, my friends, is from Dr. Moonbat himself. Ron Paul is a 9-11 Truther. He, and apparently, many of his supporters, believe that the U.S. government attacked this nation on 9-11, and brought down the World Trade Center Towers and took a huge chunk out of the Pentagon.

I have heard it said from some of the 9-11 Truthers that American Airlines Flight 93 was brought down by U.S. jet fighters as well. To my simple way of thinking, all those accusations do is denigrate the efforts of the HEROES of 9-11 and cheapen their memory!

Then we have this descriptive of Ms. Medina:

While on the road in Austin, Texas last Friday, January 22, 2010, Wayne Slater, a reporter for the Dallas Morning News, a Belo corporation company, spoke on KLBJ radio. During his interview, discussing the upcoming Texas gubernatorial debate, he described Debra Medina as a “Ron Paul libertarian.” Glad I’m not alone in my assessment of Mrs. Medina and her crypto-libertarian supporters.

I’d really like someone to discuss Mrs. Medina’s lawsuit AGAINST the Republican Party of Texas! SOURCE

The following is what may very well turn out to be a prognostication that came out terribly wrong, and far too soon.

Could the Republican primary for Governor in Texas end up in a runoff between Rick Perry…and Debra Medina? Medina is coming on strong and polls now at 24%, just four points behind Kay Bailey Hutchison’s 28%. Perry continues to hold a double digit advantage at 39%. SOURCE

THIS is from one of Debra Medina’s friends, Mark Davis of WBAP 820AM right here in Dallas:

If I had not developed considerable respect for Debra Medina, I would not bother to offer urgent advice on how to save the political future she may have torpedoed Thursday morning.

Talk show host Glenn Beck asked if she was a “9/11 truther” – that is, a member of the deranged community that says the World Trade Center towers were brought down not by terrorists hijackers but rather a U.S. government hungry to spark a nation to war by killing its own people.

Her answer was an unmitigated disaster. What we have to figure out now is what she has revealed. Was it just a profoundly clumsy misstep on the path of a neophyte candidate, or was it a genuine willingness to give benefit of the doubt to one of the most demented beliefs of our day? SOURCE

After the meltdown that Debra Medina suffered on the Glenn Beck radio program Thursday morning, after the very lame spin move she made in her later in the day press release where she attempted to distance herself from the 9-11 Truthers, after the far less than stellar way that she showed the state of Texas that she has NO ability to think fast, think on her feet and adapt to the current climate, I am thinking that Glenn Beck did the folks of Texas a favor.

All you have to do is Google Debra Medina and Ron Paul. There’s page after page of articles that have Medina singing Paul’s praises and vice versa. One page I found called Medina, “Ron Paul on steroids.”, I found that one simply hilarious!

I have never seriously considered Medina to be a real contender. I listened to her twice in the Texas GOP debates and the 1st time she did pique my interest a bit. She had a few good things to say. In the 2nd debate she seemed like an angry attack dog, and she was disorganized, didn’t, or perhaps wouldn’t give any direct answers, and left me with the feeling that she was far less than qualified.

It wasn’t until Thursday, Feb 11th that I knew she had a strong connection to Ron Paul and his former campaign, but once there was even a hint of her being a 9-11 Truther I knew WHY I had those weird feelings about Medina.

She’s a Paulinista, a closet 9-11 Truther apparently, and not a person worthy of my time, my effort, support or vote!

Nearly every source I find on Debra Medina, nearly every story I read, seems to connect her to The TEA Party in one way or another. That gives me great pause where The TEA Party is concerned. I have some great friends that are connected to The TEA Party and I hope they will weigh in on the TEA Party view of this revelation concerning Medina, the 9-11 Truthers and Ron Paul.

Debra Medina is a disciple of Paul, RON Paul, and the only way she’ll ever see the inside of the Texas Governors office is on a visitors pass…

Ok, I’m convinced this woman has issues. The main issue is that there have been real engineers who have provided the engineering view as to how the towers fell and completely answered the questions and debunked the “truther view”. Most truthers are of the variety of Moonbat that just won’t hear any facts that doesn’t support the myths that “they must believe in”. The fact that they cling tightly to the idea that this country’s government would be behind murdering 3000 citizens and devastating our economy like this tells me the average truther hates America almost as much as MoBama does. That is the only way you would buy into the debunked theories of a bunch of college boys who had nothing better to do than come up with outrageous theories that don’t hold water. JMHO.

So in my view, Medina and anyone believing that there are “facts and unanswered questions out there”… which there aren’t, simply doesn’t care to look at the evidence closely and would rather cling to a lie. She’s a moonbat!!!

And not just that HAM, anyone that’s even remotely connected TO the Truthers is a moonbat… That qualifies Medina in my opinion…

    She’s Ron Paul’s chosen one… Ewwww

You are 100% on target to call the attention of all Texan’s to this issue. There is way too much Medina worship going on at the Facebook level as it is. I can’t believe the people who are working to drum up support for her there. Beck did do the public a service. I think he was the right person, asking the right question at the right moment to show people who she really is!

  4. comment number 4 by: TexasFred

I do too, and now, all the Medina supporters and the Paulies are calling Beck names and saying he ambushed Medina…

He asked a VERY simple question that required, AT MOST, a 2 word answer…

HELL NO would have sufficed nicely…

  5. comment number 5 by: HoosierArmyMom

That is why I like Beck… he asks the questions and it doesn’t matter who it is. That is what vetting is all about and his message to everyone is to ask the questions until you get an answer! Any Paulie that is attacking Beck is attacking the premise that as citizens we should be going after the truth BEFORE we go to the polls.

Not trying to skirt the issue Fred, but HOW did Texas ever elect RP to start with? That’s all of our problems. When dingleberry’s like him get elected and then reccomend dingleberry’s like her for election, then we have TWO dingleberry’s in the government to contend with. sheeeees!!
I’m glad she was exposed for what she believes instead of simply answering with a yes/no. Beck done everybody a big favor.

  7. comment number 7 by: HoosierArmyMom

Wow, I didn’t realize ya’ll had a “dingleberry problem” in Texas!!! Sounds uncomfortable!!! Brahahahaha!!!! …sorry, couldn’t help myself.

  8. comment number 8 by: TexasFred

Vigilante, RP?? I am guessing you mean RON PAUL and not Rick Perry? :P

Paul is a Congressman, elected by a small group of small minded moonbats from his area of MOONBAT Texas… He is NOT representative of Texas mainstream politics… TEXAS didn’t elect him, just his small Congressional district elected him…

But as much news as the little moonbat gets, some people seem to think he represents ALL of Texas, he does not!

    Glenn Beck done good!

I never thought she would be doing as good as she is in the polls….but I’m pretty sure that number is going to drop like a rock.
I did like a lot of what she was saying, but still not enough to vote for her…but with this new info out…there is no way she would get my vote even if the others dropped out of the race.
Of course her numbers could go up when all those moonbat Ron Paul supporters get behind her. Those guys scare me more that the Democrats do. I’m waiting for the spaceship to land and take them all back to their homeworld… “Ur-anus”…because we all know they are full of sh*t.

    extex_cop, you are a HOOT… :P

Ron Paul is extremely knowledgeable on finance and the economy. If he would only keep his mouth shut the rest of the time, people would take him much more seriously.

    If a frog had wings… :?

  15. comment number 15 by: Robert

Let me be the first to say it…Ron Paul would have been better as POTUS than our current asshat…But hell So would Sarah Palin, even John McCain and for that matter Hillary Clinton would have been a better choice….

Ron Paul has some serious plus signs in his resume, but his negatives outweigh those by a large margin. Unfortunately his truther beliefs and his protectionism wants are his undoing. I agree with extexcop, the paulinista’s scare me more than the demorats. Medina’s political career just ended, thanks to Glenn Beck.

The libturds are scarcely silent on GB’s interview of Medina, they are ok with ANY “R” getting the same treatment the “D” gets.. but when it’s a “D” they scream biased rightwing extremist. INMO Glenn just gained a ton of credibility.

  16. comment number 16 by: Ron Russell

Never have been a fan of Ron Paul and as for Debra M. know very little and that little is not flattering. 9/11 truthers are absolute fools. Read one of those far out blogs the other day and they contend the 9/11 terrorist were trained by elements of the CIA in Afghanistan, in a calculating attempt to bring up Bush’s sinking poll numbers prior to that date. Gets pretty wild out there!

Robert, a six year old would be a better president than the current asshole we have at 1600. It does seen that Medina has driven off the cliff, but then she was never that high anyway so what the hell. He only effect in the election would have been to take votes from another candidate from what little I understand about Texas politics. Heck, Texas is beginning to look like Louisiana from what I’m hearing—shades of Edwards and the Kingfish!

  17. comment number 17 by: TexasFred

BULL SHIT Ron.. I am from Louisiana, and 2 assholes like Medina and Paul don’t even come close to the corruption that is, to this very day, Louisiana…

  18. comment number 18 by: Vigilante

Yep Fred, that’s the RP I was talkin’bout. Ron Paul. I agree with Robert about RP and his serious plus signs but then that’s about as far as it goes.

Beck? I lost a bit of respect for him ever since he said that people that questioned shitbag’s birth certificate were idiot’s. I guess I’m one of’em and WILL continue to be so till I see proof. REAL proof, not some Hawaiian recycled piece of shit .

    Ham!! That’s funny….LOL

  19. comment number 19 by: Ron Russell

Sorry Fred, just couldn’t help myself, I knew you were from Louisiana. Its my birthplace too! But they do have the Saints along with King Fish and Mary Landieu!

  20. comment number 20 by: Bloviating Zeppelin

There is one thing — ONE THING — on which both Ron Paul and I agree:

    1. The federal reserve MUST BE AUDITED and an ACCOUNTING made of all its records, transactions, fiscals!

After that, NOTHING. Ron Paul does a disservice to the entire nation by propagating that traitorist Truther BULLSHIT.

ANYONE aligning themselves therefore with Paul should be considered with, at best, a jaundiced eye and a thorough evaluation.

Many people, BTW, completely hate Glenn Beck. Yeah, his mannerisms are a little out there, but he tends to make some excellent points (absent the certificate issue — which could be completely NAILED SHUT so EASILY by Mr Obama). I feel sad I didn’t see Beck disarticulate Medina.

  21. comment number 21 by: Annie Oakley

Wow, y’all just opened my eyes to a HUGE problem I wasn’t aware of.
I’d also lost much respect for Beck over the past month and haven’t been as faithful as I used to be but after this post, I regained a little more trust in him. Thanks for the post Fred.

These 9-11 Truthers….I just recently learned what they are about…Are there very many people that actually believe that theory???? It’s hard to conceive that anyone would think that way about our country.

  22. comment number 22 by: TexasFred

Annie Oakley, as to the REAL numbers of the Truthers, I have NO idea, but Ron Paul has a ton of moonbat followers here in Texas, and around the nation too, they are NOW aiming their support at “Ron Paul on steroids”… Medina…

  23. comment number 23 by: TexasFred

BZ, Ron Paul is like a blind hog, he does, on occasion, find an acorn or 2…

Problem is, those acorns give him diarrhea and then he shits all over everything… :?

  24. comment number 24 by: Annie Oakley

Geez, that’s a funny shit eating grin!! First Dingleberrys and now acorns and diarrhea!! LMAO….!!!!

(Not funny though about these Truthers , that just insults intelligence!! I’m sure all of those Islam rag heads are sitting back laughing their butts off about that theory, disgusting!!)

HoosierMama, You and I need to talk. I told you where I live but it looks like it may be changing due to work and we’ll be on the Ohio side/towards Cincinnati. Im still registered to vote in Bright so you’ll have to tell me a few things about “dual” residence and voting. I’ll be in touch with you this weekend! :-)

  25. comment number 25 by: HoosierArmyMom

Annie, I’ll be around Saturday evening and all day Sunday! I’ll look forward to talking with you.

Vigilante, one good chuckle deserves another. My ribs are still sore from the “Dingleberry Rant”!!! :-D
